1967 ford galaxie tudor hardtop/fastback, car is a on-going project, has been a dry southern Oklahoma car it entire life, floor pans and trunk pans are original and has surface rust~ no rot~ car was painted professionaly all doors and hood/trunk lids removed, car was done right, 390 motor, 4bbl, with aluminum intake, power steering, auto trans, 9" ford rear end with 3.00 gears, newly recovered front seat, rear seat needs attention, carpet is ok, headliner is ok, the motor needs to be overhauled, the heads have been reworked recently but there is blow by the piston rings, car will start run drive, but engine is weak.
I have collected some spare parts over the years for the car, I have everything to put back the A/C, compressor, idler pully, brackets, dryer, hoses, have extra interior trim pieces, extra front grill and approx. 2 sets of period correct hubcaps, small container of touch-up paint
we have moved and I no longer have a place to store car or have a shop area to work on car, this is too nice a car to not be given the attention it needs, I have set the reserve price low, feel free to ask questions

2015 Ford Mustang production starts in Flat Rock
Thu, 28 Aug 2014Today's the day, Ford fans. Production has officially commenced on the sixth-generation 2015 Mustang at the company's Flat Rock, MI factory. As production ramps up, sales should kick off in the coming months.
The production news isn't just a bit deal for American fans. With the new Mustang getting a bespoke right-hand-drive variant, the pony car's worldwide availability has swollen to include 120 different countries, including its home nation.
"Mustang is and will continue to be an automotive icon," Joe Hinrichs, Ford's president of the Americas, said in a statement. "Expanding its availability globally affords our customers around the world the opportunity to have a true firsthand Mustang experience - one unlike any other."
Ford recalling nearly 700k Escape CUVs, C-Max hybrids over two separate safety issues
Fri, 09 May 2014Poor Escape. Ever since its launch in 2012, Ford's small CUV has been the subject of many, many, many recalls. And today, The Detroit News is reporting that Ford is adding two more recalls to the 2013-14 model year Escape's permanent record, one of them also involves the C-Max hybrid hatchback.
The first recall, covering 692,500 Escape and C-Max vehicles, is due to a software glitch that could cause the airbags - specifically, the safety canopy - to not deploy in a timely fashion during rollover crashes. According to the News, Ford says no crashes or injuries have been reported in relation to this problem.
The second recall, covering 692,700 Escapes, is related to the door handles. The News reports that the exterior door handles could open while the vehicle is in motion, and could also fail to latch properly. Once again, no crashes or injuries have occurred because of this. The National Highway Safety Traffic Administration has not issued an official notice on either recall as of this writing.
Ford's Galhotra succeeds Farley as head of Lincoln
Wed, 23 Jul 2014Ford Motor Company is announcing a major personnel shakeup that could have a dramatic effect on the future of the Lincoln division. Kumar Galhotra (pictured above), currently vice president of engineering at Ford for all of its vehicles worldwide, is taking over as the president of the luxury brand on September 1, replacing Jim Farley. The automaker is also hiring a new head of advanced engineering.
Galhotra has a huge job ahead of him as the new boss of Lincoln worldwide, overseeing product development, marketing, sales and service. His task is to turn the luxury division into a world-class brand as quickly as possible, and he reports directly to Ford President and CEO Mark Fields.
"These changes underscore our commitment to build on the success of our One Ford plan by accelerating our pace of progress. They also make clear we are serious about Lincoln as a world-class luxury brand and that product excellence and innovation are what will deliver growth and define our entire company going forward," said Fields in the company's announcement.
