1965 Ford Galaxie LTD for auction!It is a very solid car, it has just a couple bubbles on the right rear quarter panel near the chrome wheel opening molding. The frame, floor pans, trunk floor is all 100% rock solid. It has a 289 rebuilt engine, with an aluminum intake and Edlebrock carb. Rebuilt transmission. It does NOT have a big cam or anything like that in it. It's pretty much a stock engine. It is NOT a race car but very driveable and has plenty of power. Runs and drives very well. New wheels, tires with 50% or more tread. All glass is good on it. Has dual exhaust as shown in pics. The paint job is nothing to write home about. It doesn't have a lot of shine to it, and near the gas cap door there is some checking. Overall, a really nice cruiser car. Very reliable. Has power steering and manual brakes. The console in it is not functional. It is just in there for looks. I don't really even know what it came out of. The car is a column shifter. It has bucket seats, it has seat covers on the seats because the drivers seat has a split in the seam. If someone painted this car it would be really nice. Call please with questions, do NOT text. Former Ford CEO Mulally won't run for president
Mon, 15 Sep 2014Alan Mulally will not be following his successful term as president and CEO of Ford Motor Company with a run at an even bigger presidency. Rumors that the 68-year-old former Boeing exec would make a run at the White House sprouted after his apparent dodging of a reporter's questions about a potential candidacy during a forum in Indianapolis.
"I really think it's important that we all pull together. We really need to pull together around a compelling vision for our country and a comprehensive strategy to do it and work together. We really need to do it," Mulally said at the conference, according to The Detroit News.
He's since clarified by saying, "[I'm] honored at the suggestion, but that is not a role I am considering."
Ford unveils all-new 2016 F-650 and F-750 at NTEA

Ford is in the process of a complete refresh of its entire commercial vehicle lineup over the next 18 months, and it is debuting the all-new versions of its F-650 and F-750 trucks at the NTEA Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, IN.
"The all-new F-650/F-750 allow us to leverage our strengths and sales leadership in Classes 1 to 5 to create a better F-650/F-750 that's designed, engineered and built by Ford in the USA," said Ford spokesperson Mike Levine to Autoblog via email.
Huge amounts of torque is vital for trucks like these, and both models are offered with some of Fords biggest engines. Buyers can opt for either the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel with TorqShift 6-speed automatic with available power takeoff or a gasoline-fueled 6.8-liter V10 with a 6-speed automatic. The V10 can also be ordered from the factory to be fueled by compressed natural gas or liquid propane gas.
2014 Ford Fusion order guide reveals new base Hybrid model, equipment changes
Tue, 23 Apr 2013We've gotten our grubby little digits on the dealer order guide for the as-yet-unreleased 2014 Ford Fusion thanks to an anonymous tipster, and while there isn't much that's unexpected, there are some meaningful equipment changes to report after the rakish sedan's first year on the market.
Mechanically, the big news is, of course, the recently confirmed availability of the 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder paired with a six-speed automatic. The powertrain replaces the 1.6-liter automatic setup of 2013, though if you want a manual transmission, you'll still get the extra .1-liter of displacement.
On the equipment front, there are newly available rear inflatable seatbelts - as seen previously on the Explorer - along with a new heated steering wheel and cooled seat option on Titanium and Titanium Hybrid models (the latter two options will be late availability).
