Its a 1965 Ford Galaxy , It has not been restored.

IT has remarkably little rust, Around the windows, trunk, doors, rockers etc.. are very good. had carpet out floor pans great, same when I had door panels off. The car was ordered with factory drag package and I have the build sheet. It is a 390 police interceptor, 4 speed . I also have  some of the old race tickets, Have the books as well. has a 9 in rear- street gear ?? mild cam sounds good, new instrument cluster and gauges, Eddelbrock intake Holley 4 bbl., has new pointless ignition system, fuel sending unit  rubber seals and window felt ,carpet ,locks wiper transmission nice sound system. headliner  is not torn but is discolored. the paint is a little faded above the bodyline some checking on the flats. I think paint is original,  the old wheels they are in great shape and Daytona tires. had 57700 when I put new gauges in. The original owner was a SC highway patrolman.  Interior is real good as is the chrome ... THIS MODEL WON MORE NASCAR RACES THAN ANY OTHER IN HISTORY,

if interested feel free ask for my ph. #... I would not be afraid to drive her anywhere.

Look people I am not a flipper , dealer or any thing of the sort. I am just a guy who lost his job due to health reasons.Had to sell my Harley , my triumph chopper and this car has to go too. I put this car on a while back and got hundreds of e-mails and calls, most hateful. If this car was original and pristine the reserve would be a lot higher. I have seen all these shows on TV pay a lot more for rusted up piece of crap. This car is nice and the way I like it. if you want it ok if not ok but please don’t harass the hell out of me. if you want to call I will answer anything I can. I bought her from a guy who ran a area trade paper. It was ordered by a SC Highway Patrolman with a drag package the way He wanted it ,He raced it for years.I have the build sheet , the books and race tickets. I was so glad when the add closed last time.but I need to sell this car give me a break please. She is in good shape and will absolutely scream. I got her out of storage the other day and laid a black mark at least 50 60 yards long. The 390 interceptor motor is one tough motor, you cant tare it up just buy it and have a damn good time. I wish the GAS MONKEY guys had it because they GET IT

Consumer Reports no longer recommends Honda Civic

Mon, Oct 24 2016

Consumer Reports annual Car Reliability Survey is out, and yes, there are some big surprises. First and foremost? The venerable publication no longer recommends the Honda Civic. In fact, aside from the walking-dead CR-Z and limited-release Clarity fuel-cell car, the Civic is the only Honda to miss out on CR's prestigious nod. At the opposite end there's a surprise as well – Toyota and Lexus remain the most reliable brands on the market, but Buick cracked the top three. That's up from seventh last year, and the first time for an American brand to stand on the Consumer Reports podium. Mazda's entire lineup earned Recommended checks as well. Consumer Reports dinged the Civic for its "infuriating" touch-screen radio, lack of driver lumbar adjustability, the limited selection of cars on dealer lots fitted with Honda's popular Sensing system, and the company's decision to offer LaneWatch instead of a full-tilt blind-spot monitoring system. Its score? A lowly 58. The Civic isn't the only surprise drop from CR's Recommended ranks. The Audi A3, Ford F-150, Subaru WRX/STI, and Volkswagen Jetta, GTI, and Passat all lost the Consumer Reports' checkmark. On the flipside, a number of popular vehicles graduated to the Recommended ranks, including the BMW X5, Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette, and Cruze, Hyundai Santa Fe, Porsche Macan, and Tesla Model S. Perhaps the biggest surprise is the hilariously recall-prone Ford Escape getting a Recommended check – considering the popularity of Ford's small crossover, this is likely a coup for the brand, as it puts the Escape on a level playing field with the Recommended Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and Nissan Rogue. While Ford is probably happy to see CR promote the Escape, the list wasn't as kind for every brand. For example, of the entire Fiat Chrysler Automobiles catalog, the ancient Chrysler 300 was the only car to score a check – there wasn't a single Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, or Ram on the list. That hurts. FCA isn't alone at the low end, either. GMC, Jaguar Land Rover, Mini, and Mitsubishi don't have a vehicle on CR's list between them, while brands like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Nissan, Lincoln, Infiniti, and Cadillac only have a few models each. Holy crime-fighting Ford F-150, Batman!

Thu, 18 Jul 2013

What would Batman drive for his weekly trips to Home Depot for the bits and pieces needed to keep his lair deep below Wayne Manor in tip-top condition? Certainly not the Batmobile - there's no way a 4x8 sheet of plywood will fit between the wheel wells, not to mention the fact that jet turbine engines have an unfortunate tendency to set trailers on fire when towing...
No, what Batman needs is a pickup truck. The boys from Ford teamed up with Galpin Auto Sports to build just such a machine, and it has just debuted at Comic Con. Designed by Jared Barris, grandson of the legendary kustomizer George Barris, the 2012 F-150 pickup you see here, dubbed Crime Fighter, is painted Tuxedo Black with Ferrari Red highlights and is affixed with fins on each side of the truck bed. It's nothing if not unique.
Well, it's at least unique for now. According to Ford, Galpin in Southern California is willing to take orders for customers looking to don a cape and hit the town for a night of crime-fighting action. Or trips to Home Depot. Check out our high-res image gallery and then scroll down for the official description from Ford. We're waiting for details such as pricing and build time from Ford, and we'll update this post if and when we hear back.

American automakers fall in latest Fortune 500 rankings

Fri, 10 May 2013

Not that it means anything beyond bragging rights, but if you're fixated on the positions of domestic automakers on the annual Fortune 500 list, both General Motors and Ford are still on it but they've slipped a couple of notches. The list ranks American companies and they're ordered solely by revenue. GM, fifth last year, came in seventh, while Ford fell from ninth to tenth even though both companies saw small gains in annual revenue.
GM's $152.3 billion in revenue was less than a third of that of the first company on the list: Wal-Mart, which regained the title from Exxon Mobil. Berkshire Hathaway and Apple are the firms that moved GM down. Ford, displaced by energy company Valero, had $134.3 billion in revenue.
On a side note, profitability isn't a factor, but both GM and Ford were down in this year's list compared to last year's: GM declined from $9.2 billion to $6.2 billion, Ford fell from $20.2 billion to $5.6 billion. If profits were included, Exxon Mobil would probably still be king: although the energy company made almost $20 billion less in revenue than Wal-Mart's $469.2 billion, it posted $44.9 billion in profit compared to Wal-Mart's $17 billion.
