Thank you for looking at our 1963 Ford Galaxie survivor. This is a very nice, old, clean Ford that still looks great after 50 years. The body and interior are in excellent condition for their age. Mechanically, it seems to run 100%. The motor sounds like brand-new. The underneath of the car is very solid (as you can see in the pictures) and the chrome is all in good shape. If you’re looking for a fun car to take the family out on weekends or go to car shows with, this car may be right for you. It’s turn-key and you can drive it anywhere. It’s very reliable. I’m trying to describe the car for exactly what it is. On the body, there are a couple spots of rust on the bottom of 3 of the 4 doors, although it’s not very noticeable in the pictures. The miles on the car are not actual because of its age, even know they could be accurate.
I would like payment by either CASH OR WIRE TRANSFER ONLY, within 48 hours. I do not use Paypal, checks, or credit cards. I also ask that the winner of the car calls in the morning to complete this transaction. I would like the car picked up within 7 days because I don't want to be responsible for the car and I could really use the room. This car will be locked up and kept safe in a garage. I will not pay for shipping, but I will assist your shipper in pickup. If I don't hear from the winning bidder within 24 hours after the auction is over, I will offer the runner-up bidder a second chance to buy the car through a Second Chance Offer. If you can't personally make it out to see the car before bidding, please consider sending out a local mechanic to check out the car for you and give you a complete inspection. I'm selling this car as-is.
This is a no-reserve auction, which means that when the auction is over, the last highest bidder wins my classic car. If you have any questions about this car feel free to call Lou at 216-210-8488. Thank you for reading all of the information about my car, and good luck to all bidders. Enjoy the auction. GM's Reuss predicts 2016 Chevy Camaro will outperform Ford Mustang in every way
Tue, Apr 7 2015We aren't going to be seeing the next-generation Chevrolet Camaro until next month. But even though we know when we're going to see the new muscle car, it's totally unclear whether Chevy will dole out technical details. That means we can't answer the latest version of the age-old question: Camaro or Ford Mustang? Not surprisingly, General Motors North America President Mark Reuss has already stated his position, saying he was "very confident" that the sixth-generation Camaro will be faster, more agile and more efficient than the Ford. Reuss made his comments after saying he drove the new Camaro back-to-back with the Mustang the week prior. Reuss' statement came in a conversation with Fox News about the 2016 Camaro where he elaborated on the car's weight shedding and how it fit into GM's strategy on other new models. "There are some really cool things in the Camaro, that are quite different than the Malibu, [and] CT6," Reuss told Fox. As we reported previously, the Camaro will shed some 200 pounds by switching to aluminum and other lightweight composites for some of its components. With May 16 just over a month away, here's hoping Reuss decides to loose some other details on the next Camaro ahead of its debut. Related Video:
Ford applies to trademark term 'Lincoln eGlide'
Thu, Apr 30 2020There's an epilogue to Ford's recent announcement that it's giving up on a battery-electric Lincoln co-developed with Rivian. The MachEClub forum discovered that just a week ago, Ford applied with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to trademark the term "Lincoln eGlide." The goods and services category details use for "Motor vehicles, namely, passenger automobiles, sport utility vehicles, electric vehicles and structural parts and fittings; electric vehicles, namely, passenger automobiles, sport utility vehicles, and structural parts and fittings." Living in an age where a small "e" is shorthand for "electric," and Ford having specified electric vehicles in the patent, the go-to guess is that this is for an electric vehicle. The inclusion of non-electric motor vehicles injects a little fuzziness. Tesla's trademark on the Model S specifies "electric automobiles" only, whereas Rivian's trademark for the R1T seeks coverage for "land vehicles" and just about every part found in or on a land vehicle.  Since Ford must have known about the end of the Rivian effort when it applied for the trademark, we suppose Lincoln has got some kind of eGlide coming no matter what. Lincoln refers to the theme of its latest cabin designs, as in the Aviator and Corsair, "Quiet Flight," and the road-scanning adaptive suspension on the Lincoln Aviator is called "Air Glide," neither term being trademarked. This leads our suspicions to eGlide becoming a vehicle component that could potentially serve a model with any powertrain, not necessarily battery-electric only, and eGlide won't be the name of the Lincoln EV that Ford says is still on the way. Another clue is that Ford included the word "Lincoln" in the term. Trademarked vehicle names such as Aviator and Corsair don't include the make, but services for vehicles do, such as the trademarks for Lincoln Connect and Lincoln Co-Pilot 360. We'll admit that a little bit of hope informs this line of thinking as well. Ford having done Lincoln the fabulous service of giving Lincolns terrific names, we'd be aghast if the Corsair and Navigator had to share showroom space with an eGlide. We've no choice but to wait for a retail product to provide answers. In the meantime, if we could just get to the bottom of this "Fastor Charge" trademark, and what's this bit about "Vandemonium?"  Related Video:    Â
Ford set to target pre-school market with next F-150 variant
Tue, Jun 17 2014How do you build a strong group of loyalists from the next generation of American drivers? You start em' young. Ford has taken that lesson to heart, as we can see in the first batch of images of the company's new entry to the pre-school market, the Power Wheels F-150. This particular example was caught returning from testing around Ford's base of operations in Dearborn, MI – covered in tiny little bits of camouflage, too. Now, this could very well end up being a collaboration between Power Wheels and Ford. Then again, it could just be some bored engineers that decided to troll the local congregation of spy photographers, who earlier today captured images of the next Focus RS and SVT Mustang. Whatever it is, it's pretty darn cool. Take a look up top for images of the new Power Wheels F-150.
