1962 Ford Galaxie 406 with Tri-Power, C6, 427 heads and headers.

I bought this classic two years ago and fixed quite a few things. The suspension was hacked with cut leafs and worn bushings. I installed custom Eaton Detroit 2" drop leafs with all new shackles and poly bushings. The transmission was shot but now it has a Broader Performance built C6 with a 3200 stall. I rebuilt the Tri-power carbs with an Edelbrock kit. I fixed some wiring under the hood and installed an MSD 6a, distributor and coil.

The bad..

Paint looks great in photos and 20 feet away but it has some chips and scratches. I didn't paint it or know how long it was but it shines.

It has an intake leak causing it to burn oil under hard acceleration, easy and cheap enough to fix. I just don't have the time to do it, i'm moving thats why its for sell. It has stock rear gears with are 3.00:1, but it do have some new Strange 4.00 gears that go with it. changing the rear gear will defiantly bring on the torque with this motor.

I have a bunch of parts that will go along with it also. I have lots of extra trim pieces, Edelbrock Performer 390 intake, original wiring harness, horn ring ect.

Ford tops mid-year ranking of brands in the US

YouGov's mid-year Brand Index rankings of America's best perceived brands has been released, and Ford has found its way to the top. The Dearborn, Michigan based manufacturer beat out online shopping giant Amazon, The History Channel, and home improvement superstore Lowe's, to take the top spot.
Ford jumped from sixth overall in 2012 to first for 2013, but those that have been watching these rankings shouldn't be hugely surprised. Ford was rated the best perceived automotive manufacturer by the same organization last year. The Blue Oval's success on the overall brand rankings is made all the more impressive by the complete lack of other automakers on the list.
YouGov (that is, survey respondents) cited Ford's first quarter of 2013 business, which saw an increase in market share and the best earnings recorded in over 10 years. Successfully launching the Focus and Fusion (pictured) and keeping them fresh in the minds of consumers has also contributed to Ford's best overall score.

It never ceases to amaze us how much video production talent you can find on YouTube, especially when considering movies like Battleship actually exist on the silver screen. It's even better, of course, when cars are involved, which is why we can't stop watching this car chase between a pair of radio controlled Ford Mustangs.
Racing through a detailed set built in the middle of a public street using just "cardboard, hot glue and spray paint," this video is possibly even greater than The Greatest R/C Car Chase Ever that we saw last year. With the exception of a fruit stand and/or a plate-glass window being carried across the street, this has all the makings of a classic cliché chase scene.
