61 Galaxie Conv. yes its a project car . but has nice floors , trunk and all frame rails are nice. Body looks to be wearing all its original sheet metal with original paint. Can see body is straight. That's just good old desert dirt in floors and trunk -NOT rust. Its not a bondo car all painted up. Originally had 352/auto Now looks to be a 292 or 312 ?? Motor turns by hand and by the intake its dated 1960 . Has power steering and power brakes also 9 inch rear end with 31 spline axles. Missing windshield and the passenger door glass and both vent glass broke out but frames are there and in good shape. The top looks complete but on drivers side the flat piece on side is broke -looks like can be welded - I took picture best I could didn't have anybody to help try lift top up. Both doors open with no sagging -saw no rust going threw on bottom of doors. Rockers are solid. on front of hood just paint cracking looks like somebody covered the holes for the letters that should go there and that's what is cracking. Hood not rusty or full of bondo. There is a small rust hole on passenger side in front of wheel well - the wheel well itself is all solid. To sum it all up its a solid straight old car. I have a clear AZ title for it and by the looks of it always been in AZ . Nice car to build . What is in pictures is what comes with car . I have no other parts. How Ford secretly used customers to test its aluminum F-150 [w/video]
Fri, 30 May 2014Automakers getting clever about disguising development vehicles isn't anything new. Between mules wearing the sheetmetal of other cars and prototypes decked out in as much camouflage as is practical, automakers know how to make it very difficult for the general public to get an exact idea of what kind of vehicle is in development. Ford, though, is rapidly becoming the master.
We knew that the Blue Oval originally tested the durability of the aluminum construction being used for the 2015 F-150 by building an all-aluminum 2014 truck and entering it in the Baja 1000 off-road race. That's no longer a secret. What we didn't know, though, is that the aluminum development dates back to before even that, and that some of the people in question had no idea what it was they were working with.
Ford says this is the first time prototypes have ever been handed over to the public.

Ford Focus Electric gets $6,000 price drop, now starts at $29,995
Mon, Oct 20 2014In early 2013, the Nissan Leaf shed a massive $6,500 from its $35,200 base price to offer a new starting price of $28,800. Since then, we have seen numerous other plug-in vehicles get smaller price tags, from the Honda Fit EV (lower lease price) to the Chevrolet Volt (around $5,000 lower) to the Mitsubishi i (a $6,130 drop). Last year, Ford lowered the $39,200 price of the Focus Electric by around $4,000, but that hasn't been enough to get the Ford EV to really compete, saleswise, with other plug-in vehicles on the market. But wait, as they say, there's more. This past weekend, Ford lopped another $6,000 from the price of both the 2014 model year Focus EVs currently on dealer lots as well as the redesigned 2015 models that are now rolling out (they're basically the same car, minus some appearance changes). Ford spokesman Aaron Miller confirmed to AutoblogGreen that the Focus EV will now start at $29,995 and said that reducing the price should make the Blue Oval's only pure EV competitive. "We hope by reducing the price we're giving consumers another reason to consider it," he said. Through the end of September 2014, Ford has sold just 1,534 Focus EVs in the US (the model sold 1,335 in the first nine months of 2013). For comparison's sake, the Nissan Leaf starts at $29,010 and sells around 3,000 units a month in the US. Miller notes that the Focus EV has been selling the best on the West Coast, and is also doing well on the East Coast. After that, he said Atlanta and the Great Lakes area also see decent sales of model's admittedly small pie. We can only assume that offering the EV for under $30,000 will make that pie somewhat bigger.
