For sale is a barn fresh (20+yrs in storage) 1961 Ford Galaxie Starliner 2 door hardtop. 352 cu in engine, automatic trans., power steering and under dash a/c. It will run on starter fluid but fuel pump doesn't work. This is a good candidate for restoration. This is what I've discovered so far: Front windshield is badly cracked, rear windshield is missing and left qtr window is cracked . Trunk pan is rusted and will probably need replacement. Right front will need some body work, not rust . Interior floor pans look great. Under dash a/c with compressor in the trunk (removed from engine). 26,669 Starliners were produced in 1961. Would make a real nice cruiser once restored! Thanks for looking and happy bidding!

This should not have gone this easily. Having a long and checkered history of simple projects punctuated by much wailing and gnashing of knuckles, I was fully prepared to embark on a seven-day journey down a rabbit hole of broken bolts, internet hearsay and consternation when I finally decided to lay hands on the '89 Mustang with the goal of relieving the car of its stock rear axle. Instead, it took less than a full morning's worth of work to carve the old 7.5-inch solid axle from its moorings and mock up something, well, different.

2014 is shaping up to be a big year for Ford Motor Company, as it's announced an onslaught of 23 new global product launches which will help create 5,000 new jobs in the US. As part of the new product push, three more manufacturing plants will be opened.
