2010 Ford Fusion Sport Sedan 4-door 3.5l on 2040-cars
Jewett City, Connecticut, United States
This is a 2010 Ford Fusion Sport AWD. The car is quick, fun, reliable, and safe! I have had absolutely no trouble with the vehicle and have enjoyed it since day one. The car is just about fully loaded with heated power black leather seats, ambient interior lighting, sunroof, 12 speaker Sony surround sound system, reverse sensing system, BLIS - Blind spot monitoring system with Cross Traffic Alert, heated power mirrors with puddle lamps, rear view camera, dual climate control, and so much more!
The car currently has 62,000 miles, it is great in the snow, and has top safety ratings The vehicle is equipped with brand new top of the line Michelin Pilot Sport Alpine winter tires ($285 a piece) which have about two thousand miles on them. The 19 inch Mustang rims with Michelin Alpine Super Sport summer tires ($300 a piece) which have about 3000 miles on them can be negotiated into the price. Other additions to the car is the Flowmaster Exhaust, and Tinted windows and tail lights, tinted side marker lights and a keyless remote start system GAS: Most miles are highway, window sticker says 24 mpg, I have received 30+ (33.2 being the highest) on multiple long trips! PLEASE READ ALL THE WAY THROUGH!!! I will not lie the car has been in an "left rear impact accident" as it says on the carfax. This past winter I was at a stop sign, someone slide into the rear driver side of my vehicle and created a dent, and broke the rear bumper cover and a sensor under the bumper for the BLIS. The work was all completed by a very well known Ford Dealership in Connecticut. You cannot tell at ALL that there was an accident. Overall, this is a great vehicle. Looks great. Has been maintained very well (I am meticulous about my vehicles), regular oil changes (full synthetic), newer brakes, new tires, great paint, no dents, perfect interior. Great car! Happy Bidding. |

Hot sales have Detroit automakers shortening summer shutdowns
Tue, 08 Jul 2014Back in May, there was speculation that the Detroit Three automakers would maintain or perhaps even extend their traditional summer shutdowns, mostly due to a bitingly cold winter that saw below-freezing temperatures infiltrate the southernmost reaches of the US, putting a chill on auto sales. Now, though, the numbers are in, and thanks to some promising sales figures, it looks like some domestic line workers are going to be working clear through July, in some cases.
According to Automotive News, Ford has slashed its traditional two-week hiatus for factory workers in half at four of its plants, while both Chrysler and General Motors will keep factories running nonstop (two plants in Chrysler's case and a third of GM's factories).
This is, as we said, thanks to some positive numbers. Chief among those is the Seasonal Adjusted Annual Rate, which was at an eight-year high of 17 million units. Individual figures were less promising. GM, embroiled in its recall scandal, still saw a one-percent increase while Ford dropped six percent in year-over-year sales. Chrysler was the big winner, though, with a nine-percent jump in June.
Ford debuts Fusion NASCAR racer that edges closer to stock [w/video]
Wed, 20 Feb 2013The sixth-generation NASCAR Sprint Cup racecar, which will make its competition debut at the 2013 Daytona 500 this weekend, marks the closest thing to a "stock car" that the sport has seen in more than 20 years. No longer using just stickers to distinguish the different brands, the image above shows the lengths NASCAR and automakers went in order to create a racecar design that more closely resembles the individual cars they represent.
Ford, one of the more open and vocal OEMs regarding the Gen6 car's development, is giving us a closer look at its racing version of the Fusion with a pretty revealing side-by-side comparison with last years' racer (click above for an expanded view). Aside from the more realistic front end and production-like body lines, the overall shape, dimensions and proportions have also been designed to give the racecar a more stock appearance. Most of the new racer was designed by the Ford Design Center, which the automaker says was the first time it has been so involved in the design process since the 1960s. Of course, one area the Sprint Cup Fusion really differs from the production Fusion is its Ford Racing 5.8-liter V8 producing around 850 hp. Can you say Fusion SVT?

Here's the new face of the Ford Ranger
Thu, Nov 27 2014Ford Asia Pacific has put a teaser video on YouTube showing off details on the 2015 Ranger pickup, and at the end we get a quick glimpse of the whole truck. This is the T6 Ranger that we still don't get in North America, but that shares its underpinnings with the Everest SUV recently introduced at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum. The Ranger gets a chunkier front end than the Everest, identified by its grille with three floating slats, reminiscent of designs on the previous F-150, and a less-stylized lower front bumper. Ford says it will be smarter, safer, smoother and stronger, but we'll have to wait for its reveal to find out what that means. Meanwhile, you can admire its new looks in the video below.
