2010 Ford Focus Se, No Reserve, Extra Clean, Only 53k Miles, Like New Condition on 2040-cars
Utica, New York, United States
Hi, you are viewing a super gorgeous 2010 Ford
Focus SE with only 53k miles on the vehicle. This is a No Reserve Auction which
means the highest bidder will be taking home this gorgeous Ford
Focus home. This Ford is extra clean and it runs, drives and shifts
great. The vehicle has been properly maintained. All filters were regularly
changed and maintained as well. All around this is a great reliable car that
will last you many years to come. It rides really smooth and everything works
as it should. The Brakes are in great condition and tires are like new.
This Focus is powered by a lively 2.0L
inline 4-cylinder engine that produces 140 horsepower and gets up
to 136 pound-feet of torque. This vehicle is great on gas, it gets up
to 35 MPG which is remarkable.
The Focus has a lot of style and is
gorgeous inside and out. It comes with nice 15inch alloy wheels, air
conditioning, a tilt steering wheel, a four speaker audio system with a single
cd/mp3 player, auxiliary jack and full power accessories.
The Ford Focus is equipped
with many safety features. It has six airbags, including front-seat
side-impact airbags and side curtain airbags for both front and rear seat
occupants. It also has antilock brakes and stability control. In
government crash tests, the 2010 Ford Focus sedan earned four stars (out of a
possible five) for its protection of front occupants in head-on collisions. In
the side-impact test, the sedan received five stars for protection of front
occupants and four stars for protection of those in the rear. Making it one of the safest vehicles
on the road.
This 2010 Ford focus will come with a
NY rebuilt title due to small damage to the front of the vehicle, the airbags
were never deployed. The vehicle has been professionally repaired and looks
like new again. Great job done on the work as this vehicle is back to factory
specs and in great shape. The vehicle since underwent a New York State rigorous
salvage program and passed. This is a serious exam that looks at every aspect
of the vehicle. The vehicle was then issued the rebuilt title mentioned above
which is as good as a clear title but will always have the salvage history.

Ford's first PHEV in Europe could be C-Max
Fri, Oct 17 2014Ford could start selling a plug-in hybrid in Europe pretty soon, according to at least one of its executives. Whether it's willing to do so is another story. But if the market perks up, so will the company. The automaker can "quickly" develop a plug-in hybrid version of its Mondeo, the sister car to the Ford Fusion, Automotive News Europe says, citing Ford executive Uli Koesters. The subject of Ford selling plug-in hybrids in Europe is more vital than ever since Volkswagen recently started selling its first PHEV (a Golf) there. VW will also debut a Passat PHEV next year. Koesters was less certain about whether there was sufficient European demand to warrant a production PHEV from Ford. Europe's biggest-selling plug-in hybrid through the first half of the year was the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. That model, according to JATO Dynamics, moved almost 9,000 units through June. Toyota sold almost 4,300 Prius Plug-in Hybrids in Europe during that time period. And we can't be sure Ford's first European PHEV will be the Modeo/Fusion, either. In fact, Ford's first plug-in hybrid for Europe is more likely to be the C-Max, John Gardiner, a Ford spokesman in Europe, told AutoblogGreen. He would only say that it would be sold "in selected markets soon," without being more specific. Ford's two PHEVs in the US have been selling well this year. Through September, sales of the Fusion Energi PHEV almost tripled to 9,323 units, while Ford C-Max Energi PHEV sales were up 51 percent to 6,486 units.
Ford Escort Concept goes back to basics
Fri, 19 Apr 2013Here's the thing about China: The folks buying cars there have a very different set of standards than shoppers in many other markets around the globe. While we all drool over hot metal with bold designs, and while we appreciate automakers going an extra step to inject even their cheapest offerings with aggressive and interesting cues, that sort of sheetmetal sex appeal doesn't always sell in the People's Republic. Case in point is Jaguar, which may be designing a more traditional-looking version of its XJ for the Chinese market, or more to the point of this story, Ford currently sells the less-exciting, last-generation Focus compact in China right alongside the new one.
So consider this new Shanghai-bound C-segment concept a preview of what's to come for that more traditional, budget-minded, less-sexy market. More proof of this pudding: Ford's even calling this concept the Escort - a nod to the Blue Oval's compact car days of yore, and a name that stirs up thoughts of basic, affordable transportation rather than great driving dynamics or bold design. "Customers in China described seeking a vehicle that is stylish - but not one that is arrogant or pretentious," Ford states. And this new Escort concept previews a possibility of providing exactly that for this rapidly expanding automotive market.
What you're looking at, then, is one of the most simple Ford designs we've seen of late, though it still incorporates all of the automaker's latest DNA. The signature hexagonal grille is front and center, flanked by attractive LED headlamps and chrome-rimmed foglamp housings. The entire car's design focuses on clean, smooth surfaces, with one strong character line flowing from front to back just below the beltline. We will say that the car looks decidedly more premium from the rear view, where narrow, horizontal taillamps with an LED accent give the car added visual width. Bland as it may be, it's a handsome little concept, though fear what would likely happen if all of the conceptual details get dumbed down for a production model.
2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid
Thu, 02 May 2013No Prius Killer
As much as we enthusiasts like to rail on the lowly Toyota Prius as the harbinger of death for all we hold dear, there's no denying the machine's absolute and interminable grip on the hybrid hatchback market in the United States. Toyota has so thoroughly sunk its teeth into the segment that you can clearly hear the automaker's incisors clacking against one another with the conclusion of each financial quarter. And there's little wonder why. Buyers can plop down less than $25,000 and have a runabout that can return up to an estimated 51 miles per gallon in the city, leaving every other entry on the market with precious little gristle to gnaw on.
Enter the 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid. With its claimed 47 mpg combined, the funky little hatch from Europe already falls behind the 48 mpg city offered by the Prius, but that marginal sacrifice in fuel economy could be a small price to pay for buyers who want a credible alternative to the stalwart Toyota. Unfortunately, like the Fusion Hybrid, the C-Max Hybrid had trouble even approaching its Environmental Protection Agency estimates during our time with the car.
