CALL ME INSTEAD OF EMAILING ME FOR FASTER RESULTS MY CELL IS 480-313-6222. 2005 FORD FOCUS ZX3 SES FOR SALE. THIS CAR IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND HAS VERY LOW MILES. THE CAR CURRENTLY HAS 69,250 MILES AND MOST OF THE MILES ARE HIGHWAY MILES. IN THE PAST 5 YEARS I LIVED IN ARIZONA AND MIAMI. I DROVE THE CAR FROM MICHIGAN TO ARIZONA AND WHILE IN ARIZONA I DROVE TO LAS VEGAS AND ALL PARTS OF CALIFORNIA FOR WORK AT LEAST 15 TO 20 TIMES. ALSO, WHEN I MOVED TO MIAMI FROM ARIZONA I DROVE THE WHOLE WAY THERE. THE LAST 40,OOO MILES ON THE VEHICLE WERE DRIVEN ON THE HIGHWAY IN WARM CLIMATE LOCATIONS. SO THE VEHICLE WASN'T BEATEN UP BY SNOW, SALT, AND MICHIGAN ROADS. I RECENTLY DROVE THE VEHICLE BACK UP FROM MIAMI TO MICHIGAN AND IT'S CURRENTLY BEEN SITTING WAITING FOR ITS NEW OWNER. THIS CAR ALSO GETS PHENOMENAL GAS MILAGE. I HAD IT UP CLOSE TO 35 MILES A GALLON ON THE EXPRESSWAY AND HIGH 20'S AROUND THE CITY. I HAD NEW TIRES PUT ON THE CAR ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO. OTHER THINGS ABOUT THE CAR I RECENTLY HAD DONE WAS I TINTED ALL THE WINDOWS EXCEPT THE WINDSHIELD WHEN I WAS IN ARIZONA BC OF HOW SUNNY IT WAS THERE. ALSO IN ARIZONA I HAD THE CAR TOTALLY STRIPPED DOWN AND REPAINTED FOR $3,500. I HAD A COUPLE CHIPS IN THE HOOD FROM ALL THE HGHWAY DRIVING SO I DECIDED TO HAVE THE CAR STRIPED SANDED DOWN AND REPAINTED THE WHOLE CAR. I HONESTLY DON'T EVEN WANT TO SELL BC THE CAR HAS BEEN GREAT TO TO ME BUT MY WORK NOW REQUIRES ME TO TAKE OUT CLIENTS AND I NEED A LARGER VEHICLE. FROM MY RESEARCH THESE CARS ARE ACTUALLY SELLING OVER ASKING PRICE. THIS CAR WON'T LAST! CALL ME ANYTIME TO DISCUSS! I ALSO HAD A NEW BATTERY PUT IN 3 MONTHS AGO.

What car should James Robertson buy to drive his famous 21-mile commute?
Thu, Feb 5 2015The Internet has been abuzz this week with the story of Detroit resident James Robertson, the 56-year-old factory worker who has walked some 21 miles to work for the last 10 years. The Detroit Free Press brought Robertson's story to the fore, helping an online fundraising campaign to generate more than $275,000 (as of this writing). The original goal was just $5,000, or about enough to replace the used Honda that died on Robertson back in 2005, and left him walking. So, newly flush with funds, what's the perfect car for Robertson to buy? Let's look at the specifics of his situation, and try to pick out the best options. Here's what we know: Robertson's commute is (famously) 21 miles; he lives in downtown Detroit (for now) and seems pretty humble, so something very flashy is probably out; former Honda aside, his ties to the city (and statements about being a Ford fan) seem to indicate a Detroit Three company product is best; he's a single guy with a girlfriend; he's got to deal with Michigan weather, and the sometimes fickle snow removal processes in The D. Here are some choices: Ford F-150 Robertson is on record as being a Taurus fan, and after a decade of walking I've no doubt that the big sedan would offer a cozy respite. Still, as a car guy and a student of the industry, I'd have a hard time recommending a sedan so clearly in need of replacement. Especially when The Blue Oval has such great stuff within the rest of its roster. The 2015 F-150 seems almost perfect for Robertson. Opting for either of the new EcoBoost V6 engines should help keep fuel bills in reasonable check, while healthy ride height and four-wheel drive will get him to work on time even during the snowiest of snow days. Better still, with a fat options sheet and car-like ride quality, Robertson can have just about every amenity he might want, in a package that won't disrespect his blue-collar roots. Chevrolet Colorado You guys saw this one coming, right? The smaller footprint of the midsize Chevy pickup, relative to some of the other options here, should be an advantage for urban parking and driving. And again, 4x4 is an option for the nasty weather, the running costs should stay pretty low and there aren't many tech/luxury features that can't be had in-cabin. I'd go ahead and splash out on the Crew Cab bodystyle, too, just in case Robertson feels like starting a carpool.
2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Supercrew
Fri, 15 Mar 2013I'm not normally a pickup kind of guy, but the 2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor won me over nearly instantly. The street-legal trophy truck - there is really no other way to accurately describe it - is big, brawny and incredibly capable. Let's just say it's every bit the monster it visually portrays. I spent a week pretending I was one of Ford's Baja 1000 drivers, but lacking desert sand, I headed into the local mountains where a mild winter storm had dropped a couple inches of fresh snow on my favorite off-road park. The Ford was, for the most part, practically unstoppable.
Ford offers its SVT Raptor package on Supercab and Supercrew platforms with the five-foot, five-inch bed. The Supercrew I tested rides on a 144-inch wheelbase (about a foot longer than the Supercab). In addition to its cosmetic differences when compared to the standard F-150 - there isn't a young boy on the planet who doesn't think the matte black Ford grille is cool - the Raptor has a 73.6-inch track - nearly seven inches wider than the track on the standard F-150.
After upgrading the F-150 SVT Raptor significantly for the 2012 model year, there are only a few changes for 2013. The list includes standard high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps, Hill Descent Control, forged beadlock-capable wheels, and the new matte Terrain color (aka "Desert Storm") option seen on my test model.
Ex-GM VP LaNeve takes over Lincoln ad agency
Wed, 10 Apr 2013Those of you that caught yesterday's op-ed about Lincoln will have heard already, but Mark LaNeve has taken the helm at Team Detroit. Once the North American vice president of sales, service and marketing for General Motors, LaNeve will now head up the agency that handles all of Ford advertising. LaNeve will also run the account for Lincoln. While at GM from 2001 to 2009, the exec oversaw ad campaigns like Cadillac's Breakthrough and sales initiatives like "Employee Pricing for Everyone."
He left in 2009 to join Allstate as chief marketing officer, oversaw the creation of the Mayhem ad spots and was moved into the role of VP of agency operations overseeing Allstate's 10,000 agents. He resigned from the insurer in February 2012 for personal reasons and joined Team Detroit in August 2012 as chief operating officer, in charge of satellite offices in New York and internationally. He replaces ex-CEO Cameron McNaughton, and will continue to hold the title of COO.
Lincoln is trying to get its 2013 back to rights after putting big dollar commercials for the 2013 MKZ on television then having production glitches preventing cars from getting to dealerships. With rumors of a relaunch in the works, it's no surprise LaNeve has been given the reins - and from here it looks like the brand is desperate for the kind of magic he's proved he can marshal. Perhaps he can start by calling a mulligan on the renaming exercise that gave us the hoary "Lincoln Motor Company" and go back to oh, say, "Lincoln." Then he can ask the product folks to get to work on the MKC concept...
