This is 2005 Ford Focus , automatic transmission, only 54000 miles.

New tires, all 4 less than 1000 miles.

New battery.

Been to Ford dealer this month for oil change and a new EGR valve as check engine light was on. New fan motor installed as the other other squeaked. CD player works great.

Drives , runs nice. air conditioning, power windows, power locks, cruise, tilt, 6 cd player, Power sun roof, adjustment for stereo by drivers hand,  keyless entry, spoiler on trunk,

NADA for this car with this amount of low low miles, $8200. My price is $1000 less. Low mileage cars are not common, most have way way more than this car.

It is a 2005 and has some scratches and acouple of door dings, one door ding on passenger door that is noticeable. has a one inch tear on drivers side seat, not getting any bigger and otherwise , the interior is nice. Fold down rear seats from the trunk.

Bought car to commute out of town and now job has been downsized and not commuting as often and I have 3 other cars. I live in Newton Iowa , just 35 miles east of Des Moines right on Interstate 80.

My cell is 641-831-9336, call and will end auction early if anyone is interested and wants to buy it.

The history and future of the Ford Bronco

Tue, 17 Jun 2014

Some have suggested that the Bronco's demise was hastened by the fallout from the O.J. trial.
Twenty years ago today, ex-NFL linebacker Al "A.C." Cowlings drove his friend and onetime running back Orenthal James "O.J." Simpson on a parade lap of the Los Angeles highway system and onto an ignoble page of the history books. If you're in your late 20s or older, or a fastidious young student of 1990s American history, you're absolutely aware that Al and O.J.'s steed for the 'chase' was a white Ford Bronco. The white Ford Bronco, even.

Jay Leno takes a Surfin' Safari in a 1937 Ford Woodie Restomod

Tue, 21 Oct 2014

Woodie wagons were a major part of surfing culture in the 1960s, offering coastal style and a ton of room, and they even earned a mention in the Beach Boys' classic song Surfin' Safari. This week, Jay Leno's Garage takes a look at two modern, restomodded examples of these style icons.
Unlike a lot of restomods, builder Scott Bonowski keeps these wagons looking almost completely stock on the outside, and all of the upgrades are hidden underneath the timber. You can't tell by looking at it, but the '37 Woodie (pictured above) has independent front and rear suspension, disc brakes and a Ford 5.0-liter V8 under the hood.
Beyond the mechanical aspect, the craftsmanship into the wood is astounding. Bonowski claims there are between 30 and 50 coats of varnish on this wagon. It makes these woodies as much of a piece of fine furniture as a vehicle to drive.

Toyota, Ford decide to end hybrid collaboration before it starts

Tue, 23 Jul 2013

Not all so-called Memorandum of Understanding pacts end in actual collaborations. For instance, after a two-year "feasibility study," Toyota and Ford have just announced that they will not be developing hybrid systems for use in light trucks and SUVs as previously planned, and the two automakers will instead continue to develop their own hybrid technology independently.
The would-be collaboration was first announced in August of 2011, and would have seen a rear-wheel-drive hybrid platform that would "improve the efficiency of trucks and SUVs while still allowing them to be driven in the way customers expect," according to our initial post on the topic.
Keep in mind that this announcement isn't to say we shouldn't expect hybrid pickups and SUVs from the two automakers, but that they probably aren't coming very soon - Ford says it will have a system "before the end of this decade" and we haven't heard much from Toyota on the hybrid truck front since the 2008 A-BAT Concept (pictured above) - and that they will not share any components between them (and they never have, for what it's worth).
