Up for sale is a 2003 Ford Focus. Only 99k original miles. 5 speed manual transmission. Great gas mileage. Title is salvage, but everything has been rebuilt before i owned it. There is not a single problem with this car, other than the radio doesnt work, the wires short out, and just needs to be worked on. Ac blows cold and the heater is warm. There is one dent on the passenger side, by the door, other than that the body is in great condition and rust free. It has brand new tires on it, with free lifetime rotation on them, tires have less than 2,000 miles on them. New K and N air filter. New battery. New spark plugs. New fuel filter. Brand new AC compresser. New ignition. New bearing in front and rear. Horn is mounted next to the steering wheel instead of on it, it is a push button. This is a very reliable car. Ford increasing Super Duty production by 15 percent
Fri, 31 Jan 2014Ford has announced a hefty $80 million investment in its Kentucky Truck Plant, which is responsible for building the F-250, F-350, F-450 and F-550 versions of the Super Duty pickup. The influx of cash will add 350 jobs to the factory.
The investment is also good for a 15-percent increase in annual production thanks to retooling and other facility upgrades, which equates to an extra 55,000 units of production. Considering that Ford makes even more money off its Super Duty than it does on the hot-selling F-150, this could mean some serious coin to Ford's bottom line.

Ford brings FPV Falcon production in house [w/video]
Thu, 21 Feb 2013For the first time since 1976, Ford of Australia is bringing the assembly of its stonking Ford Performance Vehicle line back in-house to the company's Broadmeadows and Geelong facilities. That's a point of pride for FPV, which builds high-performance versions of the Australian Falcon model like the F6, GS and the heroic GT seen here.
In the video below, we hear FPV employees talking in hushed tones about the important legacy that cars like the GT have for Australian gearheads of all stripes, and how proud they are to say that hand-built machines like this GT R-Spec with its Boss 355 engine are now rolling out of their home base. For our part, we're just dying to drive this version of the Coyote V8; the engine is rocking a "Miami" supercharger from Harrop and makes some 450 horsepower.
