1965 Shelby Cobra Factory Five Mk4 on 2040-cars
Jacksonville, Florida, United States
Please email me with any questions or requests for additional pics or something specific at: wendolynwssaam@chocoholic.org . This beautiful Factory Five Cobra MK4 Roadster was purchased in January 2014 and has only 2256 miles. The vehicle
was built @ SKJ Customs in Saint George Utah, and let me tell you, she is a beauty! This beautiful Cobra is ready
to hit the road and win some First Place trophies along the way. She is finished in arguably the most beautiful
color combination available: Raven Black w/ Red Racing Stripes and Polished Stainless Side Exhaust. These new
Factory Five Cobra MK4 Roadsters have been vastly improved, modified and redesigned to be better than the original.
Only the best components were used in this build w/ a total cost of over $75,000. Powered by a brand new 427ci
small-block Ford stroker motor producing over 500 hp, linked to a new Tremec TKO 500 5-Speed transmission which
feeds power to a 8.8 Moser Locker rear end. The motor is dressed up in Ford 427 Cobra finned valve covers with
billet aluminum throughout the show quality engine bay. She starts, idles, runs and performs beautifully and is
extremely FAST! After you get rolling, the upgraded Wilwood 6-piston brakes will slow you down in a hurry! This
Cobra was fully insulated w/ Silent Coat, which lessens vibration substantially and makes for a wonder driving
experience. The custom interior is absolutely gorgeous and features: black European Leather seats w/ French
stitching in red, Spunhead Stainless dash w/ full set of (7) gauges, Wilwood pedals, Cobra-style wood steering
wheel, Cobra shifter & E-brake, top & side visors, Simpson racing seats belts and chrome driver-side roll-bar. She
sits on polished Halibrand-style rims w/ Nitto 55R drag radials and has the stance that only a Cobra can have.
These Factory Five Cobra MK4 Roadsters are an absolute BLAST to drive and will leave a huge smile on your face for
hours after you drive one. The Kony Coilover suspension lets you hit those curves nice & fast w/ complete control
and as I stated previously, she’s extremely QUICK!

Ford Mustang returning to Australia in 2016
Mon, 15 Jul 2013Australia's Herald Sun newspaper has reported that the next-generation Ford Mustang is heading Down Under in 2016, just as Ford is hanging the "Closed for Good" sign on its Australian manufacturing operations and sending the Falcon to its grave. Ford hasn't offered any official word on the matter, but the paper says that Ford's global VP of sales and marketing, Jim Farley, is flying to Australia to make the announcement himself.
While Ford converted Mustangs in the early 2000s from left-hand to right-hand drive for the Australian market and then sold them at high prices, it's been almost five decades since Ford imported a dedicated right-hand-drive Mustang to Oz. The arrival of the global model specifically made for places like Australia and the UK means Ford will also be able to offer them at better prices than the converted models; the Herald Sun says the price is expected to be "close to $50,000."
And that's for one of the "V8 performance models," which are the only ones Australia will get; Ford apparently won't send the turbocharged four cylinder or the V6. The Aussies could find out in a month from now whether this rumor is true. We will all find out what this Mustang fuss is about when the car debuts at next year's New York Auto Show.
Martini Mustang is a 'what if moment' gone right
Wed, 23 Oct 2013Feast your eyes on a masterpiece. This is Steve Strope's Ford Mustang in the classic fastback bodystyle, and as you'll notice, it sports the signature colors of Martini Racing, a livery that's as legendary as any Gulf Racing-styled car. But the red, white and blues of the Martini stripe down this Mustang's middle tell only a very small part of the story, in the latest video from Petrolicious.
What would you guess is under the hood? A 289-cubic-inch V8? Maybe a 302, or some absurd Ford crate engine? Maybe Strope went all Tokyo Drift - he's actually responsible for the "Hammer" Plymouth Satellite driven by Vin Diesel at the end of the movie - and found an RB26DETT to drop into the pony car? You'd be wrong on all counts.
This mad, mad man somehow finagled a Ford-Lotus engine from a 1966 Indianapolis 500 car into the Mustang's engine bay. Yes, a Mustang with an engine designed for a 160-mile-per-hour, open-wheel racecar. That's like someone in 40 years dropping McLaren's 2.4-liter V8 from the MP4-28 into a Scion FR-S. It'd just make a monster.
New York Mets outfielder turns spring training into his personal car show
Wed, Feb 24 2016New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes is known for his wide range of talents. He can hit for power, average, has good speed, and is solid in the field. His car collection is equally versatile and diverse, and it's been on display this week at spring training. Every day has brought a different car, and it has his teammates and the media atwitter. Cespedes rolled up Wednesday to the Mets facility in Port St. Lucie in a Lamborghini Aventador. It's black with blue trim. Anthony DiComo with MLB.com tweeted this: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. ESPN's Darren Rovell tweeted the Lambo has a custom exhaust that cost $80,000 and shoots out flames. Of course, that's already old news. His Alfa Romeo showed up today, too. Apparently Mets infielder Wilmer Flores has been driving it. That's an ultra-rare 8C Competizione, brought to you by Robert Brender of SNY.TV. This content is hosted by a third party. It's customized with gaudy wire wheels, red accents, and Cespedes' No. 52 on the hood. Subtle. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Jon Santucci of Scripps newspapers observed it. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. At this rate, we should probably skip Geneva and get credentialed for Mets spring training. Cespedes signed a three-year $75-million contract with the Mets in the off-season. He's also played for the Oakland Athletics, Boston Red Sox, and Detroit Tigers. Related Video: Image Credit: Getty Images Celebrities Design/Style Ford Lamborghini Performance baseball
