London, Ontario, Canada
Wow once in lifetime car......1964 Ford Falcon Sprint V8.... 1st time on the market in over 27 years.... this car has won the Detroit autorama for its class 3yrs in a row... Its that nice and show very close to the way it did back then.... always been heated stored... This car has real nice paint shines like it was painted last week has very few imperfections if any.... The interior is finished in its original covers, panels which are outstanding in every way for its age... all door rubbers, window fuzzies are original to the car and are outstanding in condition also... The paint inside the trunk, doors and hood, have never been touched original.... super clean. The engine has been upgraded to a 351 Boss specs with original quench heads with stock mainfolds.... Runs very strong... set up for juice.... never filled or used but its there... Car has run 11.3 sec just the way it is.... the engine is backed by a toploader 4spd transmission.... which is hooked up to a 9in ford with 4:56 gears M/T 18" wide tires. the car was professional back halfed with a four link set up. The car still retains its full back seat, there is no roll bar or cage.. Only thing that's changed since the factory appearance is the tub and 4 link other than that it looks stock. This car is in outstanding shape all over very had car to find fault with and I am very fussy and can easily find fault with a car. But this one is nice, drives great every thing works the way it should....Chrome is excellent..... Paint is great..... Body is completely rust free..... Fit and finish is exceptional..... Truly a car to be proud of..... car is in heated storage and has been there for years..... driven sparingly..... This car would be a nice addition to any collection or just make a great weekend cruiser for the person who wants a Super nice Falcon. Check the photos out as they speak for themselves. 2015 Ford Mustang production to begin on July 14? Not quite, says Ford
Thu, 10 Jul 2014Mustang6g.com believes that it has unlocked start date for 2015 Ford Mustang production citing a Ford dealer communiqué. According to the report, job one on the 2015 hardtop will allegedly start in just a few days, on July 14, although units that are known as "OK to Buy" won't enter production until September 9. The cars built between those dates are most likely final pre-production cars for the executive test fleet, and will likely include the cars we'll be driving at the media launch.
Sun worshippers, meanwhile, would seem to have a longer wait. Job one on the droptop supposedly isn't slated to start until September 14, with production models starting on October 27. As is the case with the hardtop, these final pre-pros are for the execs and media to test, while actual dealer orders will come from vehicles made after the October date.
After speaking to Ford, though, we wouldn't put a great deal of stock in those dates as reported. We reached out to Said Deep, Ford's North American Product Communications Manager.
Ford to show special edition Raptor on April 9
Mon, 01 Apr 2013There are precious few details, but what we do know is that Ford will be revealing images of "appearance upgrades" for a special-edition 2014 F-150 SVT Raptor on April 9. The slideshow will happen during a Motor Press Guild luncheon at Ford's Design Center Showroom in Irvine, California.
Without photos or further details, we're left to wonder about the extent of these changes, but aren't expecting anything too significant given the venue. Ford is understood to be revealing a next-generation F-150 with a big weight loss - as much as 700 pounds - for 2014, though it isn't yet clear if that's the truck's model year or simply its on-sale year. For at least a couple of years, Ford forums have been suggesting changes will come with the 2014 Raptor, so there could still be a bigger surprise in store. Either way, we'll know what all this means in a little more than a week. The press release below has the official details, but for the moment, we'll content ourselves by ogling the 2013 model above.
Focus STs for SEMA include Lotus and Gulf liveries, rally-fied police car
Tue, 22 Oct 2013Ford, as we mentioned on Saturday, is pulling out all the stops for November's SEMA show, bringing 57 vehicles to the Las Vegas event. Ford will be staggering the release of its SEMA flotilla, though, so expect to hear a lot about the new additions to the fleet in the weeks to come. We already showed you the Fiesta, Fiesta ST and Mustang models that made up the first batch of SEMA cars. Next up, we have a quartet of modded Focus STs joining Ford's SEMA roster.
Our first Focus ST (pictured above) sports the legendary livery of Gulf Racing. The orange-on-blue scheme, which Ford helped make famous at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, has been updated for 2013, with a more vibrant blue. This ST was built by Universal Technical Institute, while the exterior was done by Neil Tjin of Tjin Edition. Side exhausts, a Vortech supercharger and a Motiv Concepts high-flow cat allow the ST to breathe a bit easier, while Forgestar wheels contrast well with the iconic paint scheme.
Focus ST number two has been done-up by PM Lifestyle and is inspired by "Southern California car culture." Sporting a sleek, pale blue paint job, there's also no shortage of carbon fiber on the car's exterior. The 2.0-liter, turbocharged, four-cylinder engine has been massaged by the likes of Banks Power, COBB Tuning and Ford Racing, while the suspension is wearing a shiny, new set of coilovers and sway bars. The meaty brakes, tucked behind 19-inch, Rotiform wheels, come from Wilwood, while the cabin has been fitted with a pair of Sparco Chrono seats and five-point, Schroth harnesses.
