For Sale is a 1964 Ford Falcon with a freshly built 302 & a Borg Warner 5 speed World Class transmission. The car has many upgrades including rac & pinion steering, front disc brakes, new Ford Racing clutch, new Ford Racing Hurst shifter, dynomat, custom exhaust, electric fan, aluminum radiator, etc.
This car has been in California its entire life and has no cancer. The car was painted about a year ago has some scratches but paint is good. I have all of the original chrome trim that goes with the car. Tires have plenty of tread and wheels are clean. The motor & clutch assembly have less than 100 miles on them and the motor was professionally built with the following: Edlebrock 6037 Aluminum Heads Metal gaskets new fuel pump Holley 750 Carb Moly Rings Sealed Powder Coated Pistons Moroso 8 Qt Pan Crane/Ford Roller Rockers Cloyes & Roller Timing Chain B303 Ford Racing Hydraulic Roller Tappet Camshaft motor puts out 400 plus HP This is a lot of car for the money. Ford tops mid-year ranking of brands in the US
Thu, 18 Jul 2013YouGov's mid-year Brand Index rankings of America's best perceived brands has been released, and Ford has found its way to the top. The Dearborn, Michigan based manufacturer beat out online shopping giant Amazon, The History Channel, and home improvement superstore Lowe's, to take the top spot.
Ford jumped from sixth overall in 2012 to first for 2013, but those that have been watching these rankings shouldn't be hugely surprised. Ford was rated the best perceived automotive manufacturer by the same organization last year. The Blue Oval's success on the overall brand rankings is made all the more impressive by the complete lack of other automakers on the list.
YouGov (that is, survey respondents) cited Ford's first quarter of 2013 business, which saw an increase in market share and the best earnings recorded in over 10 years. Successfully launching the Focus and Fusion (pictured) and keeping them fresh in the minds of consumers has also contributed to Ford's best overall score.

Ford recalling 65k Fusions from 2014 and 2015 because key can be removed
Tue, 18 Nov 2014Ford is recalling an estimated 64,869 examples of the 2014-2015 Fusion, Fusion Energi and Fusion Hybrid in North America because the key can be removed when the vehicle isn't in Park under certain conditions. Specifically, the campaign covers 56,479 units in the US, 6,048 in Canada and 2,342 in Mexico, according to the automaker's tally on November 11.
Ford says a programming problem in the instrument cluster means that the key can be removed 30 minutes after the ignition is turned off, even if the transmission is not in Park. The situation where this could happen seems quite limited, and the company is not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the issue. However, the fault puts the vehicle out of compliance with federal regulations covering theft protection and rollaways, and must be repaired.
The fix is easy: Ford will reprogram the instrument cluster at no cost to consumers. According to Ford spokesperson Kelli Felker in an email to Autoblog, "We will notify customers the week of January 5th." Scroll down to read Ford's announcement.
