THIS IS A 1961 FORD FALCON RANCHERO. SERIAL NUMBER 1K27U202569.

I RECENTLY PURCHASED IT   "AS YOU SEE IT"  TO PART OUT BUT UPON A CLOSER LOOK, I HAVE DECIDED TO SELL IT AS A RESTORATION PROJECT.

IT IS MISSING THE ENGINE, TRANNY, RADIATOR, GRILLE, BOTH BUMPERS, TAILGATE, GAS TANK, SPEEDO, AND A FEW OTHER SMALLER PARTS.

THE REAR FENDER QUARTER PANELS ARE RUSTED OUT, BUT THE FLOOR BOARDS ARE DECENT WITH A COUPLE OF HOLES IN THE PASSENGER SIDE.

IT ROLLS ON DECENT TIRES THAT ARE HOLDING AIR. THE GLASS IS GOOD, EXCEPT FOR THE WINDSHIELD AND THE DOORS OPEN AND CLOSE.

I WILL ISSUE A BILL OF SALE. THE MILEAGE LISTED IS INCORRECT, BECAUSE IT DOES NOT HAVE A SPEEDO.

I WILL ACCEPT PAY PAL FOR PAYMENT AND IT MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 10 DAYS AT MY COMMERCIAL ADDRESS, UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE BEFORE THE END OF THE AUCTION.

WHAT YOU SEE, IS WHAT YOU GET, EXCEPT FOR THE FEW PARTS YOU SEE IN THE BED.

IT IS BEING SOLD WITH  "NO GUARANTEE, WRITTEN OR IMPLIED" IN   "AS IS CONDITION".

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS,  "DO NOT EMAIL ME"  BUT CALL ME AT 316-838-3399  AND I WILL STAND NEXT TO IT AND ANSWER THEM.

Watch Piquet and Mansell bend some sheetmetal in Ford Fusion GP

Tue, 12 Feb 2013

As we told you about before, there were four episodes planned for the Ford Fusion GP campaign in Brazil, and the whole series has now run its course. The Ford ads pit Brazilian Formula One driver Nelson Piquet against English F1 pilot Nigel Mansell driving the new Fusion, the two coming together again after their partnership at the Williams F1 team ended in a miserable state more than 20 years ago.
They're lined up for you below, in reverse chronological order. You should watch number three first, though, as it adds a bit more spice to the NASCAR action in the fourth.

The big dune jump and the damage done

Mon, 20 May 2013

The Silver Lake sand dunes see their fair share of well-built trophy trucks executing impressive jumps. Drivers build insane pieces of machinery for the express purpose of sailing through the air like mad men and women.
Mike Higgins is no stranger to the area. His heavily modified Ford trophy truck has gone flying through the sky on more than one occasion, but he recently bit off more than he could chew. After hitting a particularly lofty dune, Higgins went airborne for a ridiculous 180 feet before becoming intimately familiar with the finer points of gravity.
While Higgins nailed the jump, his landing fell short of wowing the judges. The impact very nearly broke his truck in two. Despite the mechanical mayhem, the driver walked away without a scratch, proving that occasionally miracles really do happen. You can check out the jump and the subsequent destruction below for yourself. Be warned: there's a fair bit of foul language.

Watch how a Ford Raptor rolls down the assembly line in Dearborn

Sun, 30 Mar 2014

Bloomberg TV reporter Matt Miller is the proud new owner of a pretty killer truck. How do we know? The reporter headed to Dearborn, MI to Ford's assembly plant, with a film crew in tow, to see exactly how his new F-150 SVT Raptor and its mother-loving 6.2-liter V8 engine, was screwed together.
The resulting video does an excellent job of summing up how an assemblage of parts and pieces is turned into a triple-black Raptor, thanks to the work of some 1,000 employees and about 20 hours of real time. Click through below to see how the truck is born, with a surprise cameo playing the part of delivery driver at the end.
