Up for sale is this great old Family Wagon. I have enjoyed this little car for awhile, but it is time to part ways now. This is a clean inside and out wagon. The only problem area is the passenger rear corner, took a picture to show what I mean. It is from a old fender bender, that was way long before I got the car. The outside is sporting the two tone midnight blue for bottom with the white roof, a awesome combination. I also have a roof rack that is included, but will need a small amount of modification to fit. The inside seats are wrapped in a black and white vinyl with black carpet. The head liner still needs to be done, as it is the original. On the dash cluster, only the odometer works, other gauges worked at one time but now do not. The ignition had broke at one time and was replaced by a switch and push start button under the dash. Under the hood is a rebuilt inline 6 with maybe 10k miles on it. It runs strong, but carb needs some very minor adjusting. Transmission is a 2 speed fordomatic, with a floor shifter. All lights work and operate, brakes are good. Steering is sloppy and needs to be done, but still goes straight. HAs a magnaflow exhaust.
I have a clean AZ title and it is currently registered. Nice clean straight wagon looking for a new home. Payment is $200 deposit due at end of auction through paypal, remaining balance due 10 days later via cashiers check or wire transfer. Wagon can sit for 30 days before pick up if needing time. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.

Enterprise working with renter's insurance to cover $47k Mustang stolen from its lot
Sat, 11 Jan 2014There was more than a bit of public indigence following the recent story of Enterprise Rent-A-Car billing a customer $47,000 to replace a Ford Mustang GT Convertible stolen from a Nova Scotia lot. To recap: Kristen Cockerill rented the Mustang for two days, returned it to the lot on a Sunday and left the keys in a secure dropbox only for Enterprise employees to find the car gone the next day.
Despite Enterprise policies stating that customers are responsible for vehicles dropped on off-days, the company has admitted that the situation could've been handled a bit better.
In a recent statement, Enterprise has backed off the big-bill story, and claims to be working with Cockerill and her insurance company to resolve the issue. Further, the Enterprise general manager overseeing Nova Scotia has spoken with the harried renter, and apologized "for the way this claim was handled during the last few months."
NHTSA closes rollaway investigation into 1.56M Ford SUVs
Mon, 11 Mar 2013It's taken four years of study, but the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has finally closed the books on its investigation into rollaway accusations surrounding 1.56-million Ford SUV models.
The probe, which centered on the 2002-2005 Ford Explorer, 2002-2005 Mercury Mountaineer and 2003-2005 Lincoln Aviator, ends without the federal agency calling for a recall. According to The Detroit News, the investigation was closed due to a "low number of complaints" - NHTSA documented 180 such complaints that resulted in 14 crashes and six minor injuries, but the number of incidents have been slowing. The suspected defect rate for the trucks' automatic transmissions was found to be 4.4 per 100,000 units, and the brake-shift interlock mechanism failure rate was judged to be even lower at 3.4 per 100k.
National Geographic Channel balances Ford F-150 on four coffee mugs
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Proving that there is still something to be learned on television these days, National Geographic Channel recently introduced a new series called Duck Quacks Don't Echo. On the first episode of this science/comedy show, host Michael Ian Black proposes the idea that a truck can be supported with a ceramic coffee mug under each wheel - yes, he says that the entire weight of a truck can be balanced on just four coffee mugs.
Looking to find out whether this is fact or myth, the show uses a regular cab Ford F-150, weighing in at 4,800 pounds, and four average coffee mugs. Lowered onto the mugs, the idea is quickly put to the test. Can the cups hold up under 4,800 pounds? If so, what, exactly, would it take to break them? Scroll down below to find out.
