I am selling a true time capsule. This 1969 Ford Fairlane has only 39,000 original documented miles. Absolutely NO RUST ever on this car. It has the original numbers matching 428 Cobra Jet Motor with the factory Ram Air still intact and operational. It's the original 3 speed automatic C6 Trans, and runs perfectly. The interior is all original and in EXCELLENT condition. The original polyglass spare tire is still in the trunk. I have the factory build sheet, protecto plate, Marti Report, and a copy of the original title when purchased new. This car was purchased from the son of the original owner 6 years ago and has been pampered in a climate controlled garage since. The only components ever replaced on the car are the tires, a water pump and a carburetor. I still have the original water pump and carb. The car has been repainted once in the factory color. The paint and chrome are very smooth and shine like new. The interior is in EXCELLENT condition as well with no signs of wear, or sun fading. The under carriage of this car is as clean and rust free as the top. Entire car is VERY clean and in EXCELLENT condition. The car needs nothing at all.... If you are looking for an ALL Original, extremely low milage, clean honest car, this is the one. This car drives incredibly well, it's tight, with no squeaks or rattles, and drives as straight as an arrow. Every once in a great while you come accross a true collector car and this is one of those. Absolutely nothing to hide and no sales pitch needed, walk in the climate controlled garage and see for yourself. The car will sell itself and you will NOT be disappointed.

I'm Autoblog senior editor Greg Migliore and this is your Autoblog Minute weekly recap. 2011 was the last time we saw Ford's midsize pickup in the US but according to a report from the Detroit News we could see production of the Ranger at the [00:00:30] Dearborn automaker's Michigan Assembly Plant as early as 2018. Ranger could compete with the Chevy Colorado and perhaps revive the compact and midsize pickup market for Ford, but the future of Ranger in the US depends a lot on Ford's ongoing negotiations with the UAW. About 2,000 orders for the 2015 Mustang were placed in the UK, tying up production of the pony car until July 2016. According to details in a press release from Ford UK, [00:01:00] it looks like Brits are a lot like their American cousins, opting for the 5.0 liter V8, with Race Red as the popular color of choice. Photos of the 2016 Toyota Prius leaked generating a lot of buzz over the styling. This fourth generation Prius will have some new competition as spy shots of a new Hyundai also surfaced this week. The car is said to be a hybrid and a bonafide "Prius fighter." Those are the highlights from the week that was. NACTOY announces top nine finalists for Car, Truck and Utility of the Year

Finalists for the 2024 North American Car, Truck and Utility Vehicle of the Year (NACTOY) Awards were announced at this year’s L.A. Auto Show. This whittles the field down to nine vehicles in total, with the winners scheduled to be announced on January 4, 2024. The finalists in their respective categories: Car category: Honda Accord, Hyundai Ioniq 6, Toyota Prius Truck category: Chevrolet Colorado, Chevrolet Silverado EV, Ford Super Duty Utility category: Genesis Electrified GV70, Kia EV9, Volvo EX30 These nine cars were chosen from a list of 25, which was previously narrowed down from a list of 52 eligible vehicles. Notable misses include the Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray, Toyota GR Corolla, GMC Canyon, Ford Ranger, Chevrolet Blazer EV, Chevrolet Equinox EV, Mazda CX-90 and Toyota Grand Highlander, among others. Ford Australia goes miniature with Beachkhana 1.0 video

Ken Block's Gymkhana franchise may have started with Subaru, but it's most closely associated with Ford, which the rally star joined way back in 2010. That fruitful partnership has spawned a number of Gymkhanas, and Block even showed up to help introduce the new Focus RS. To honor this, Ford Australia has come up with an adorable parody (for lack of a better word), starring the hero Sun Block. Rather than a full-scale rally Fiesta piloted by a Vegemite-munching Aussie, though, Ford of Oz has gone tiny for its tribute. Really tiny. The product is Beachkhana 1.0 – Wild on the Beaches of Australia, is a funky little stop-motion feature using tiny, 1:43-scale cars in much the same manner as Mr. Block drives his Fiesta rally car. It even pokes some fun at Mercedes-Benz's hilarious Magic Body Control ad. Check it out.
