1967 Ford Fairlane 500. This is a very nice, solid vehicle. It has been modified from original. I am the 3rd owner. The first 2 owners both owned the vehicle over 20 years each. Those first 2 titles go with the car. Title states miles are original. Car has been driven sparingly and stored properly. This is a very straight car and the undercarriage is in great original condition. Nice paint. The glass, chrome, moldings and emblems are all in very good condition. Windows crank freely, vent windows work properly. Gauges, heater, horn work properly, AM radio does not work, it is not hooked up and I haven't messed with it. 390 4bbl engine runs well. Previous owner said it had around 5k miles on it. Newer Holley carb with electric choke, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, mild cam and Hooker Competition headers. Underneath the hood has the previous owners personal touches as he used the car for shows. Toploader 4 speed transmission with new Hurst shifter. Rebuilt 9in rear with Trac Loc and new 3.25 gears. Front brakes have been upgraded to disc. 15in. American Racing wheels with low mile Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires that have the Indianapolis motor speedway emblems. Nice dual exhaust with not to loud of mufflers; capped lake pipes were added for a nostalgia drag look. These can be uncapped with 3 bolts, but do make a lot of noise. An nice clean older style traction bar was installed. Some of these subtle additions make for an older unique drag racer look. Interior is very nice from a new headliner down to carpet. Car runs and drives very good, 390 runs good does not overheat, steering wheel is straight , front end is solid and tracks straight and proper. Ford adds 850 jobs to build 2015 F-150

Pickup trucks tend not to advance at quite the same pace as the rest of the industry. That's what makes the new Ford F-150 so remarkable, jettisoning its old steel construction in favor of aluminum. It's a game changer that Ford is betting big on, and in anticipation of surging demand, the Blue Oval automaker is adding 850 new jobs to put the thing together.
Those 850 new employees will be centered at Ford's Rouge complex in Michigan - with 300 at Dearborn Stamping, 50 more at Dearborn Diversified and 500 at the Dearborn Truck facility, the latter of which has already kicked off what Ford describes as "the largest manufacturing transformation in decades." Old manufacturing equipment is being replaced with the latest technologies, and even the Ford Rouge Factory Tour is undergoing a complete overhaul.
The new jobs come as part of the commitments Ford made to the UAW in 2011 to create 12,000 hourly jobs in the United States by 2015 - a number which Ford has already exceeded at 14,000. Over 4,000 of those are centered in southeastern Michigan.

US Air Force Thunderbirds Mustang fetches $400K at auction

For the last six years, Ford has created a special version of the Mustang with a military aviation theme, and then donated the car to the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) to be auctioned off at the annual AirVenture event, also known as The World's Greatest Aviation Celebration. The money raised goes to the EAA Young Eagles program to inspire the "aviation pioneers of tomorrow," and this year's 2014 Ford Mustang GT US Air Force Thunderbirds Edition was won with a final bid of $398,000.
Celebrating 60 years of the USAF's Thunderbirds, this Mustang GT is the only one of its kind with a paint job matching the Thunderbirds' F-16 Falcon jets and some Ford Racing performance added on for good measure. Including this car, Ford has helped raise around $2.3 million for the charity with the biggest auction price coming from the first year of the program, the F-22 Raptor-inspired Mustang AV8R from 2008, which sold for $500,000.
