I am selling my 1965 Ford Fairlane 500. Built in Kansas City, Kansas. The vehicles paint all appears to be original besides the roof which is now white. I have the original owners manual. This car has had many updates within the last 5 years to include new interior, carpet, clear seat covers, headliner, air ride shocks, A/C, 1968 302 Mustang heads, 1968 Mustang front disc brakes, after market moons, Edelbrock carb, Aluminum radiator, new leaf springs, new window and trunk seals (not windshield or rear). Within the last year alternator, coil, voltage regulator, shift lever, window rollers, 5 tires, 2.5 inch exhaust. This car is very solid. I would keep this car but my wife has recently returned to school full time. For the bad the paint has some areas with small chips, some surface rust on the rain rail, small dent on the drivers quarter panel, dent on the front bumper drivers side, original door panel on the passengers side bulges a little on the bottom which touches the window crank, dash does have some cracking but I do have extra material, there are two small holes in the back of the drivers seat, the previous owner decided to put primer where the hood ornament goes I do have the hood ornament its just not installed. Send me a message if you have any questions at all or would like more pictures. Mileage is a rough estimate?? Sorry.

Ford celebrates 1 millionth Mustang built at Flat Rock
Thu, 18 Apr 2013Yesterday, the Ford Mustang turned 49 years old, and Ford didn't miss the opportunity to celebrate the one millionth version of the Mustang rolling off the assembly line at the Flat Rock Assembly plant. Production of the Mustang at Flat Rock coincided with the fifth-generation design launching in 2004, and the one millionth car was the car shown above, a 2014 GT convertible painted in Ruby Red.
In total, Ford has sold more than 8.5 million Mustangs since the original car went on sale, but some of the key milestones over the car's nine years at Flat Rock include the Shelby GT-H, Bullitt, Boss 302 and, of course, the 662-horsepower Shelby GT500. Scroll down for a press release celebrating Flat Rock's milestone Mustang.
Fallon picks Ford F-150 King Ranch, launches dealership contest
Tue, 01 Apr 2014New truck! Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show has been searching for the perfect new truck for a few weeks now, soliciting help from all corners in the process. Last night, Fallon made the announcement that the Ford F-150 King Ranch - in all of its cowboy glory - had been picked as his big winner.
To add some more spice to a storyline that now dips deeply into the realm of the advertorial, Fallon also announced a contest to see which Ford dealership would get the privilege of selling him the King Ranch. Dubbed "Fingers on a 4x4" The Tonight Show has invited 10 dealer reps from around the country to keep their hands on Jimmy's F-150 for as long as possible. Last salesperson standing wins.
Watch Fallon make his pick and introduce the dealer reps below, and be sure to click on the second video for a live-streaming feed of Fingers on a 4x4 in action (the contest seems to be going strong).
Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
