UP FOR BID IS A 1957 FORD FAIRLANE 2dr. CLUB SEDAN. THIS CAR WAS PULLED OUT OF A BARN OVER 15 YEARS AGO AND STORED IN A HEATED GARAGE EVER SINCE. HAS A CLEAN OHIO TITLE. THE CAR IS SOLID FOR THE MOST PART, BUT WILL NEED RESTORED. THE CAR DOES RUN AND HAS ONLY BEEN DRIVEN IN THE DRIVEWAY. HAS A SMALL BLOCK FORD MOTOR THAT WAS REDONE AND AN AUTO TRANS, A 9" REAREND, OLD SCHOOL DRAGBARS, VINTAGE CRAGARS AND OLD SCHOOL MICKEY THOMPSONS ON IT. THE FRONT FENDERS ARE FIBERGLASS (NOT SURE IF THESE WERE FROM THE FACTORY). HAVE ALL OF THE TRIM FOR THE CAR. ALL THE GLASS IS GOOD EXCEPT THE DRIVERS DOOR. WE DON'T KNOW TOO MUCH ABOUT THIS CAR AND JUST NEVER GOT THE TIME TO GET INVOLVED WITH IT. OUR LOSS IS YOUR GAIN. THIS WOULD DEFINATELY MAKE A GREAT FATHER SON PROJECT OR DRAG CAR. 2015 Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival
Thu, Aug 13 2015Considered the big kick off of the major festivities surrounding Monterey Car Week, this year's Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival certainly didn't disappoint. For those unable to make it to the California coast, our own Drew Phillips was on hand to snap some of the beautiful vehicles on display for this gorgeous gallery. Held annually at the Monterey Jet Center, the event is always a feast for the eyes by collecting planes, a gang of exotic supercars, and some the top cars crossing the auction block over the coming days, like a Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda convertible. The Ford GT both new and old was a major attendee at this year's party. Among them, the Petersen Museum brought along an original racecar and a GT40 MKIII to promote an upcoming exhibit. The classics were complimented by the latest version that has continued to keep tongues wagging. The GT wasn't the only classic with a modern update there. Singer used the posh event for the North American debut of its stunning restoration of the Porsche 911 Targa. Shelby American was also at the revival for the public unveiling of the 50th Anniversary Daytona Coupe. On the more modern front, Honda was in attendance with the future NSX and one of the McLaren F1 cars that the company's engine powers. For further proof of the ritzy folks that attend this soiree, Pagani and Koenigsegg both had stands to show off their extremely quick wares.
More 2015 Ford Mustang pricing information leaks [UPDATE]
Tue, 20 May 2014The big news this morning was that the 2015 Ford Mustang would start at $24,425, including its destination pricing. The big news this afternoon is, well, bigger.
Mustang6G.com has come up with what it claims is pricing info for the entire Mustang line, rather than just the V6. That means we know all about the EcoBoost and GT prices now, which, when combined with the dealer order sheets we reported on last week, gives us our clearest look yet at how the Mustang can be outfitted (we're still a bit short on pricing info for some standalone options, like paint premiums and such).
The base EcoBoost starts at $25,995, while the GT rings up at $32,925.
