THIS IS A 1957 FORD FAIRLANE 2 DOOR HARDTOP, WAS REBUILT ABOUT 11 YEARS AGO BUT HARDLY EVER DRIVEN, IS HAS A 312 MOTOR THAT RUNS VERY GOOD AND HAS BEEN REBUILT, HAS A AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION THAT ALSO WAS REBUILT AND SHIFTS VERY GOOD, THE BRAKES ARE GOOD AND STOP THE CAR VERY WELL, DOES HAVE A LITTLE CLANKING NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT END BUT NOTHING TO SERIOUS, THE INTERIOR WAS ALSO REDONE AND LOOKS PRETTY GOOD, THE BODY AND PAINT LOOK PRETTY NICE AND WAS ALSO WAS DONE AT THE TIME OF THE RESTORATION, I DONT KNOW IF THE CAR HAS ANY BONDO ON IT OR NOT AS I WASNT THERE WHEN THEY RESTORED IT, THE FLOORS SHOW NO SIGNS OF RUST DAMAGE WHAT SO EVER AND THE FRAME RAILS ARE GOOD, THE TRUNK FLOOR IS NICE ALSO AND HAS ONLY A LITTLE SURFACE RUST HERE AND THERE, OVER ALL THIS IS A PRETTY NICE LOOKING AND DRIVING CAR , I DRIVE THIS CAR AROUND PRETTY WELL MOST OF THE TIME. 2015 Ford F-150 configurator is ready to go to work
Thu, 25 Sep 2014Ford is inching towards the on-sale date for the eagerly anticipated, aluminum F-150 pickup. While we're preparing to drive the new truck (expect our take on it sooner rather than later), the best-seller has reached another, albeit more minor, milestone as its online configurator has officially been switched on.
We took to Ford's consumer website to mess about with it and see just how ridiculous of a truck we can build. Among the fun things we discovered were these two nuggets - the most expensive truck we could configure was not the top-end Platinum model, but instead the King Ranch, which rang up at $65,955. The other exciting discovery? The new truck would be available in a questionable shade called Blue Jeans (shown above with the optional contrasting Caribou paint). Yep, Blue Jeans.

Ford doubling 1.0L EcoBoost engine production
Fri, 06 Sep 2013Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine hasn't been around that long, but it sounds like the engine is getting to be fairly popular in the automaker's global car lineup. The Detroit News is reporting that Ford has add a second shift that will allow its German engine plant to double daily output from 500 engines to 1,000.
The increased capacity is part of a plan to sell more than 300,000 vehicles a year with this engine in Europe by 2015. Europe is currently the only market where the smallest of the EcoBoost engines is offered (including in the Focus pictured above), but US-spec Fiesta models will be getting this mill for 2014.
Three-cylinder engines are expected to continue to grow in popularity in coming years with the report indicating that global production of these engines will double by 2018 to 9.8 million units. General Motors, BMW and Mitsubishi are all expected to introduce three-cylinder engines in the near term, as well.
Mazda Turnpike in Japan shut down for racing

Not only did they manage to shutdown eight kilometers of the Mazda Turnpike up the Hakone mountain, but they invited some of the country's premiere racers to take a drive up the hill. This wasn't just a Sunday cruise either. Featuring a BMW Z4 from the Super GT series, a classic Ford GT40, two flavors of Nissan GT-R and two takes on the Subaru Impreza WRX STI, these guys came ready to run. When an opportunity to let racecars challenge a curvy mountain road presents itself, you don't squander it. Thankfully, the folks at Motorhead knew that and outfitted the course with a plethora of cameras and high-quality sound equipment to capture the action. The result is nothing short of sublime. Take the video's urging to turn up your speakers for this one, and watch as these racers hit ludicrous speeds in a beautiful place never meant for them.
