This is a multi purpose rig i used in my business for when i couldn't fill up my 7 car transport trailer it towed a 3 car hauler, and i would also use it to pick up and deliver single vehicles and motor cycles real nice rig real heavy duty. Having too much truck is never overkill. The truck is Mechanically in peak conditions its got all injectors , glow plugs and wire gaskets fresh replaced with a kit from Pensacola Diesel . Also a new clutch just cause the truck completed its 200K miles while I owned it better be safe than sorry. The truck has some normal wear because it is a working tow truck but never abused it is currently still in service with its tags and insurance up and running will have to remove my state permits when sold to a new owner. The truck is sold as is with no warranties buyer is responsible for picking up the vehicle or making arrangements for pickup also selling the vehicle locally so seller has the right to end the sale at any time. The stiff punishments are part of broader transportation legislation, but clearly McCaskill has automakers in her sights.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.
2014 Saleen George Follmer Edition Mustang debuts at Lagun Seca
Sat, 17 Aug 2013Saleen used the occasion of the race-fueled Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca to announce its new Heritage Collection Lineup. The event was punctuated with the debut of the collection's first member, the 2014 Saleen George Follmer Edition Mustang.
Follmer's name will likely sound familiar to fans of American racing in the 1960s and '70s. The driver competed in Formula One with the Shadow team in 1973, ran the Indianapolis 500, was the Can-Am champion in 1972 and drove stock cars in NASCAR's Winston Cup as well. The multi-disciplined driver is now one of three -the other two being Mark Donohue and Swede Savage - with the honor of upcoming, limited edition Saleen-tuned vehicles..

Ford Escort returns, just not for US
Sat, 19 Apr 2014Ford is set to give the burgeoning Chinese market its very own C-segment model, while also reviving one of the brand's more notable nameplates. The new Escort, which will make its world debut at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show will be built in the People's Republic at the Changan Ford joint venture facility.
The Escort's exterior is best thought of as a mix of the finer points from the US market Focus and Fusion, with the Aston Martin-ish grille and narrow, wraparound taillights presenting a clean look at either end of the car. It's all fairly true to the concept car from last year's Shanghai Motor Show. That said, this exterior job is almost too clean. There doesn't seem to be a lot of character or substance beyond the typical Ford looks.
There's a similar issue in the cabin - it all looks pretty nice, but the design is rather plain, particularly when viewed alongside the display-filled cabin of a US-spec car. Still, there looks to be a fair amount of space in both the front and back seats, and the trunk isn't exactly tiny, either.
