I have for sale my very nice 2006 Ford F350 4x4 6.0 Powerstroke Truck. This is a 4x4, Crew cab LONG bed! I am the 2nd owner of the truck & it has a clean title with no history of wrecks or accidents, the truck has all the OEM paint! This is not your typical F350 King Ranch on Ebay, this truck has had a ton of upgrades done cosmetically & performance/durability wise. This truck is also a rare color for the King Ranchs, its the metalic blue over metalic tan. (these truck are usually white or black). This truck has every option from Ford, a quick list is: FX4, 6 disk cd player, moon roof, power rear sliding glass, parking sensors, upfitter switches, adjustable pedals, power/heater mirrors, power/heated seats, in-dash brake controller, block heater, limited slip rear end, chrome bumpers, tow hooks, class 3 tow package, remote start/alarm, 20 inch wheels, lighted running boards, tow mirros, keyless entry pad, cargo trays under rear seats, Line-X spray in bedliner with UV protector, locking front axles (shift n the fly 4x4), etc.
Between the previous owner & me, here is a light of upgrades truck has:
6.0 powerstroke engine: ARP headstuds, new ford headgaskets, new Ford oil cooler, Bullet proof EGR cooler w/lifetime warranty, all new radiator hoses & clamps, intake gaskets, T-stat, Dummy plugs & STC fitting on high pressure pump all upgraded to latet/better parts, Added a coolant filter system to keep new oil cooler clean, Garrett Powermax brand new turbocharger with heavy duty boost hoses. (this turbo is slightly bigger than stock & more efficient), SCT touch-screen programmer with CUSTOM tunes from Innovative diesel - (they are the best in the business for 6.0 tunes, I have 3 current tunes to choose from & you can always add/delete more), Brand new FICM frm Ed @ www.ficmrepair.com. This is an upgraded FICM with a 40 horsepower tune added to it at time of install. This FICM has better parts & a 5 year warranty. AFE stage 2 cold air intake system that flows/filters better than stock, upgraded "blue spring" on fuel pressure regulator for better fuel pressure, 5 inch Stainless- Magnaflow exhaust with no Cat converter, ( I have Cat that will go with truck so it can be put back on) 6 inch stainless exhaust tip, recent oil change & fuel filters all replaced with Ford parts always! This truly makes the engine bullet proof! This work is well over $10,000! I have a dyno sheet showing 513 rear wheel horsepower from Saint joe diesel in Saint Joe missouri! This truck drive almost stock for dailey driving, when you lay the hammer down the world changes & its a wild ride. If you drive it normal I get 16-17 average miles per gallon! The truck does have a great Turbo sound with the large exhuast, but is not too loud (has performace muffler). I am sure I am leaving some engine items out, so feel free to ask, ALL MOTOR WORK WAS DONE AT FORD DEALER, (RUSTY ECK IN KANSAS)!! (within 15k miles)
Truck upgrades: 2013 King ranch 20 inch chrome clad wheels with new Michelin LTX AT2 tires, 2.5 from Ready Lift leveling kit, Alignment, Billet grill insert, Short sport antenna for car washes, 2-way Remote start system with alarm & 2 fobs/keys, Brand new King Ranch steering wheel from Ford recently, Line-X spray in bed liner with UV protector for fading, Tinted winows & tinted moonroof glass, new brakes (front & rear) recently with Ford parts, recent transmission service & new filter, King Ranch liscense plate frames & hitch plug, upgrades headlight & fog light bulbs for brighter light, blue bulbs in running board lights! bug shield too.
This truck is really sweet! Its clean, with no wrecks/smokers/pets or trailer hitches/goose neck balls in bed of truck, all OEM paint, truck runs amazing & starts right up when really cold, cold a/c, hot heat, EVERYTHING works & carpes are like new, seats are well condtioned & are above average unlike most King Ranch seats, paint on truck does have some rock ships & tiny scratches here & there, but overall above average for a 2006. No leaks, tight front end, steering wheel does not vibrate & is straight, I would take truck anywhere! Please ask me any questions as I know I have left some things out, I have owners books, extra keys, extrak king ranch seat condtioner & mote reciepts for work done. The only thing I want to mention is, before I owned the truck the pass front door was opened too far via wind & it has a tiny bulge on front edge of door, you really have to look for it, but I wanted to mention it.
Thanks!!! (my reserve is low!) If you fly into KCI airport I can pick you up & we can go to my bank to complete transaction, I owe a note on the truck, so you will leave with title & I can mail you the Lien release when bank gets it to me.

Stock Miata beats bunch of high-powered cars in wet 1/4-mile drag race
Thu, 06 Jun 2013When is a stock, 167-horsepower Mazda MX-5 Miata quicker than a Chevrolet Corvette, Ford Mustang, Lamborghini Gallardo, Lotus Elise and a Porsche 911? When it's raining. Sort of.
Mazda Canada arranged a unique drag race to show off the fact that the Miata's optional power retractable folding hardtop can go from top-down to top-up in just 12 seconds flat. In this video, all six cars line up for a drag race, and it starts to rain (well, sort of - but you'll have to watch the video all the way to the end to see what we mean). The green flag is waved, and the timer starts as soon as the convertibles begin to put their tops up. But because the Miata's roof mechanism gets the car's roof back up a full 5.1 seconds quicker than the second-place car, the Mazda gets a serious advantage off the line for the actual drag race.
It's a fun video. And while we've spoiled the results (come on, the video was uploaded by Mazda, you knew the Miata was going to win), be sure to see how it all unfolds, below.
Weekly Recap: Matthew McConaughey's star shines brightly for Lincoln
Sat, Jan 3 2015The commercials were a little strange at first, but the ensuing spoofs were hilarious. And all jokes aside, Matthew McConaughey has made a difference for Lincoln. Advertisements starring the Oscar winner launched in September, and the results have been impressive. The number of customers clicking on Lincoln.com to check out the MKC – the crossover McConaughey pitched – has tripled since the ads began airing, a spokesman told Autoblog. They also generated 4.4 million views on YouTube and spawned parodies by Ellen DeGeneres, Conan O'Brien, South Park and Jim Carrey on Saturday Night Live, which racked up another 15 million views. Most importantly, Lincoln's sales have increased 15 percent through November, helped significantly by the strong launch of the MKC. Without the addition of the MKC, Lincoln's sales would have been essentially flat last year. The MKC has received solid reviews from consumers and the press, though it has had several recalls. "The overwhelming response to the MKC campaign sparked truly great awareness for Lincoln," Andrew Frick, Lincoln group marketing manager, said in a statement. Now Lincoln has launched another round of spots, which kicked off New Year's Day during college football bowl games. This time, McConaughey is hawking the MKZ sedan and its hybrid sibling. The spots, called Diner and Balance, use the same artistic formula as the earlier ads, with McConaughey intoning seriously about the cars in dramatic settings. They were shot over two days in Los Angeles and were directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, a Danish filmmaker who directed the 2011 move, Drive. The ads continue Lincoln's multiyear deal with McConaughey, who has said he's been long been interested in the brand. He starred in the 2011 thriller, The Lincoln Lawyer, as a defense attorney who worked out of a Town Car, though that was before his deal with Lincoln. In one of the earlier ads, McConaughey claims: "I've been driving a Lincoln since long before anybody paid me to drive one. I didn't do it to be cool. I didn't to it to make a statement. I just liked it." That sentiment appears to have worked for the MKC's launch, and with this new advertising blitz, Lincoln hopes it carries over to the MKZ. For EV drivers, realities may dampen the electric elation
Mon, Feb 20 2023The Atlantic, a decades-old monthly journal well-regarded for its intelligent essays on international news, American politics and cultural happenings, recently turned its attention to the car world. A piece that ran in The Atlantic in October examined the excesses of the GMC Hummer EV for compromising safety. And now in its latest edition, the magazine ran a compelling story about the challenges of driving an electric vehicle and how those experiences “mythologize the car as the great equalizer.” Titled “The Inconvenient Truth About Electric Vehicles,” the story addresses the economics of EVs, the stresses related to range anxiety, the social effects of owning an electric car — as in, affording one — and the overarching need for places to recharge that car. Basically, author Andrew Moseman says that EV life isn't so rosy: “On the eve of the long-promised electric-vehicle revolution, the myth is due for an update. Americans who take the plunge and buy their first EV will find a lot to love Â… they may also find that electric-vehicle ownership upends notions about driving, cost, and freedom, including how much car your money can buy. "No one spends an extra $5,000 to get a bigger gas tank in a Honda Civic, but with an EV, economic status is suddenly more connected to how much of the world you get to see — and how stressed out or annoyed youÂ’ll feel along the way.” Moseman charts how a basic Ford F-150 Lightning electric truck might start at $55,000, but an extended-range battery, which stretches the distance on a charge from 230 miles to 320, “raises the cost to at least $80,000. The trend holds true with all-electric brands such as Tesla, Rivian, and Lucid, and for many electric offerings from legacy automakers. The bigger battery option can add a four- or five-figure bump to an already accelerating sticker price.” As for the charging issue, the author details his anxiety driving a Telsa in Death Valley, with no charging stations in sight. “For those who never leave the comfort of the city, these concerns sound negligible," he says. "But so many of us want our cars to do everything, go everywhere, ferry us to the boundless life we imagine (or the one weÂ’re promised in car commercials),” he writes. His conclusions may raise some hackles among those of us who value automotive independence — not to mention fun — over practicalities.
