I'm selling my 2005 ford f350 dually 4x4. This truck is in excellent condition and has 141k miles on it. I still drive it but not a lot. I'm sure everyone is worried about how this ended up getting a prior salvage title. Well plow bent the front of the frame. I bought a new frame for it and built the truck from the ground up. I have been thru every inch of this truck and have left nothing to complain about. So here we go I've done the following modifications and maintenance to it:
IPR one piece billet egr delete
IPR  stainless up pipe
IPR  high flow coolant filter
IPR  stainless oil cooler screen
Ford upgrade turbo oil drain tube
Ford upgrade stand pipes and dummy plugs
Ford upgrade HPOP STC connector
New ford oil cooler
8 beru glow plugs
New radiator and fan clutch
2 new duralast gold batteries
MBRP turbo back 4" stainless exhaust system
New back breaks
New upper and lower ball joints
New hubs
Revised axle dust seals
Vc9 and simple green coolant flush
Cat etc1 coolant
Autometer gs series pillar gauges (volts, pyro, boost)
Innovative diesel tune with SCT 420rwhp 770ftlb torque
Polished wheels
Sony am/fm CD player
Oil and fuel filters
Harley headlights and smoked cab lights
The truck has no dents or scratches. The drivers seat has some wear on the arm rest but other than that the interior is spotless. I've put an unbelievable amount of time and effort into this truck. Time is what totals cars. The time Involved with replacing the frame is what got this truck. It got a new frame and had no body damage. I'm sure you will not find a nicer truck for the money. I'm asking 16500 or best offer. My name is Shawn and I can be reached at 402-672-0412 for questions or viewing. Delivery may be possible for a fee. If you can live with the title you can have an awesome truck for well under clean title value.

Question of the Day: Most degraded car name?

Fri, May 27 2016

When Ford came up with a not-so-sporty version of the Pinto and slapped Mustang badges on it in 1974, that was a low point for the Mustang name. When Chrysler applied the venerable Town & Country name on perfectly functional but unglamorous minivans, it saddened many of us. But perhaps the biggest demotion for a once-proud model came when, in 1988, General Motors imported a misery-enhancing Daewoo from Korea and called it the Pontiac LeMans. The original Pontiac LeMans was a great-looking midsize car with fairly advanced (for the time) suspension design and engine options including potent V8s and a screaming overhead-cam straight-six. The Daewoo-based Pontiac LeMans was a cramped, shoddy hooptie that served only to ruin the LeMans name forever, while stealing sales from the Suzuki-based Chevrolet Sprint. Sure, using the once-respected Monterey name on the Mercurized Ford Freestar was bad, but Mercury didn't have long to live at that point. I say the downward spiral of the LeMans name was the most agonizing in automotive history. What do you think? Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. William Clay Ford Sr. dead at 88

Sun, 09 Mar 2014

William Clay Ford, retired vice chairman of Ford Motor Company and the last surviving grandchild of company founder Henry Ford, died this morning after a bout with pneumonia. He was 88.
Ford spent 57 years with his grandfather's company, joining the board of directors in 1948 before graduating from college. Ford also held a position as chairman of the design committee, as well as the chairman of the executive committee and vice chairman of the Board of Directors during his tenure with the company. In a 2013 Detroit Free Press story, retired CFO Allan Gilmour said Ford had an eye for design, and was once able to pick out when a fiberglass model of a Ford Contour was asymmetrical, off by an inch on one side. He retired and assumed the position of director emeritus in 2005.
"My father was a great business leader and humanitarian who dedicated his life to the company and the community," said Bill Ford, Jr., Ford's current executive chairman. "He also was a wonderful family man, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, yet he will continue to inspire us all."

Galpin Ford GTR1 supercar debuts in Monterey

Fri, 16 Aug 2013

Galpin Auto Sports has finally taken the wraps off the car we first previewed back in December, the Galpin Ford GTR1. A few weeks ago, we posted the first hints of just what the GTR1 would be capable of, with Galpin teasing that its 5.4-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 would produce in excess of 1000 horsepower, with a top speed of 225 miles per hour. Package all that in a coachbuilt body, and you have the recipe for one wicked supercar.
The price for the carbon fiber-bodied car is $1,024,000.
Now, we have all the glorious details. Galpin is targeting a production run of six cars, but if interest is strong enough, will expand its initial quote to 24 vehicles. The price for the carbon fiber-bodied car is $1,024,000. Opting for the aluminum bodywork could lower that, although it's not immediately clear by how much.
