2005 Ford F-350 Super Duty King Ranch Crew Cab Pickup 4-door 6.0l Diesel on 2040-cars
Charlottesville, Virginia, United States
Outstanding tow vehicle, fully equipped and ready to go for pulling 5th wheel RV or horse trailer at a fraction of the cost of a new vehicle. Very low mileage (62,200) for a 2005 vehicle, and all maintenance records are available.
We recently sold our 5th wheel RV and no longer need the tow vehicle. The vehicle is in great shape mechanically with the following changes: New shocks on the front along with new upper and lower ball joints on one side (excessive play) and two new Die Hard batteries in 2012. That's it. The interior is in great condition. The carpet is covered with Husky Liners front and rear. The captain chairs up front and the back seat are all King Ranch saddle leather, no "pleather" in this vehicle. Front seats have normal wear, back seats are like new. The only thing with excessive wear is the tonneau cover. The vinyl is fine, but the velcro that secures the sides is about worn out. If you're pulling a 5th wheel, you may want to remove. The bed liner is sprayed in by Line-X and is as tough as nails. Bottom line, this King Ranch F350 dually is the perfect tow vehicle priced about $35,000 less than a brand new vehicle. You can't go wrong. |

Autoblog joins Elon Musk and Danica Patrick in accepting ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
Tue, 19 Aug 2014Unless you've been living in an off-the-grid cabin in the woods for the last couple of weeks or abstain entirely from social media activities, you've probably seen someone you know dump a bucket of ice and water over their own head recently. While the origins of the so-called Ice Bucket Challenge are shrouded in a history typical of Internet memes, its effectiveness in raising money and awareness for the ALS Association has been astonishing.
Celebrities from the worlds of entertainment, sports, technology and more have generated untold millions of video views in support of the organization that is helping patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease), and generated a much needed influx of cash, as well. Recent reports have some $15.6M raised in the last two weeks.
Of course, the big-hearted world of automotive celebrities has taken part in the drenching charity effort as well. Follow on below for some of the biggest names on four wheels getting iced for charity, with a smattering of your favorite Autobloggers thrown in for good measure.
Watch the Hennessey Ford GT makes its record run at Texas Mile
Wed, 27 Mar 2013We said they'd probably be out with an official video, we did not lie. The Hennessey-powered camouflage Ford GT sat at one end of the runway at the Texas Mile sitting still. At the other end of the runway it had broken its own speed record, the twin-turbo 5.7-liter V8 pushing the aerodynamic supercar up to 267.6 miles per hour, a 4.3-mph improvement over the old mark.
There's not much in the video you haven't already seen, this just makes it official. That said, who doesn't want to see a twin-turbo Ford GT set an incredible speed record? You can watch it below.
Ford vandalizes the SEMA Show floor with 2014 Transit Connect
Tue, 05 Nov 2013The Ford booth here at SEMA is practically a 1970s throwback with all these customized vans sitting front and center. And we're completely fine with that. Take the black and yellow (black and yellow, black and yellow) 2014 Transit Connect from Mobsteel above. It's got a great stance, sits on steel wheels and has a pretty cool paint job and graphics package to boot.
Of course, that's not the only van you can see at the Ford booth. In fact, there are 10 Transit Connect vans on display from Ford here at SEMA, and you can see them all in our live gallery of high-res images above. Then, if you want to know more about each specific model, feel free to scroll down to read all about these vans in the official press release from Ford.
