Up for auction today is a 2004 Ford F-350 Crew cab 4x4 with the FX4 off road package. 6.0 liter turbo diesel motor. I bought the truck to retail on my car lot. I was driving the truck when the turbo failed. I stopped and pulled of the road and had it towed back. THE TRUCK DOES NOT RUN, AND I HAVE NOT ATTEMPTED TO START IT. I DO NOT KNOW THE EXTENT OF THE DAMAGE, I believe it was the turbo due to the fact of the noise it was makeing which was a high pitched whistle. The body is in incredible shape for the year and the mileage and it did shift and drive very well. I had a new injector put on before this all happened. I am just done with repairing this truck, and it needs to go to someone who is more inclined with diesel motors. It features power windows, locks, and mirrors, a cd player a/c worked good heat worked good. Tires are 75 percent. Has a nice set of aluminum wheels. You are buying this truck 100% AS IS and are more then welcome to come check the truck out before buying. You could easily sell this truck for 11-12 grand when in working order check the big internet dealer sites. If you are experience with this type of motor this could be your chance to make some money! My loss is your gain! A deposit of $1000.00 is due within 48 hours of the auctions end. A 10 dollar storage fee will be assed daily if the vehicle is not picked up with 10 business days. Shipping must be arranged by the buyer.

TRANSLOGIC 147: CES 2014 Autonomous Vehicles
Wed, Jan 15 2014We head back to CES in Las Vegas to check on the progress of autonomous vehicles in 2014. We go hands-free on the highway with Audi, narrowly avoid a collision with Ford and hear all about BMW's drifting driverless car. But first we take a ride on Induct's self-driving Navia shuttle.
The 2015 Ford Mustang is not so mellow in yellow
Tue, 14 Jan 2014When we first saw the 2015 Ford Mustang, much was made of its new, more expressive color palette, which includes the return of both yellow and orange in addition to a new grayish shade, Guard. At that time, we didn't have anything to look at but a few small scale models painted in the new colors - the only Mustangs on display were in Race Red.
For its auto show debut here at in the Motor City, Ford has trotted out a couple of as-yet-unseen shades, including the striking Triple Yellow shown above. The new shade marks a return to a paint color that enthusiasts have been clamoring for, and we must say, it looks excellent under the lights of Cobo Hall.
Stat wise, there are still a number of questions we have about the redesigned Mustang. None of the three engines have had official power figures published. The same goes for pricing information, although if any loose-lipped execs let something slip in Detroit, we'll be sure to let you know. Until then, have a look at the new Triple Yellow Mustang on display at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.
2015 Ford F-150 [w/videos]
Thu, 02 Oct 2014To learn more about the all-new 2015 F-150 and get an early read on its potential hero-or-zero status, we flew to the heart of full-size pickup truck country, San Antonio, TX, to spend a day driving, towing and playing in the mud with an assortment of Ford's innovative new trucks.
First, a caveat - while we feel we have a reasonably good handle on the new F-150 after attending this first-drive event, we are far from ready to pass definitive judgment on the success of this radically new rig. Our time in the various models was lamentably limited and we felt rushed. With so much at stake and with so much to talk about and experience, we had zero alone time with the vehicle - there were Ford folks shadowing us at every moment.
And we still don't know everything there is to know about the trucks, as Ford is withholding some of its most crucial numbers, including curb weight data and anticipated EPA fuel economy figures. We don't even have a firm on-sale date. All of this information is typically disclosed - or at least officially estimated - at the time of a new vehicle's first drive. This limits the scope of the judgments we feel comfortable making based on our first encounter.
