Here is a great truck for someone, this truck has been family owned for the past 9 years and has been very well taken care of. The truck was never used as a work truck, it does have a new snow plow that was put on 2.5 years ago and it has only snow twice, 6" and 3 " snow falls. As most people who live in Pa will tell you we just do not get much snow here. Back to the truck, I am selling this truck for a friend of mine who is the owner for the past 9 years. It has been used mainly as a 2nd vehicle and he has very little use for it now. The F350 has some nice upgrades to it with the snow plow package which is a boss 7'6 plow straight blade, again used twice.

It also comes with a back rack with working lights, a tractor supply tool box, upgraded heavy duty shocks and springs, kenwood sound system, billet grille, a 4" dual bully exhaust system that cost a good bit of money, Superchip,  strobe light package in the head lights and tail lights, k-n air filter, Bridgestone dueler tires that are less then a year old, new chrome running boards from ford, remote starter, tow package, power seats, chrome mirrors and door handles, sound off signal pinnacle led warning and more.

If you have any questions just ask. This truck is very well taken care of and has always been maintained. It does have a few small rust bubbles starting to pop up, take a look at all the pictures. This is a very nice truck and has the 8' bed everyone wants. I have sold alot of cars here and I will not sell anything with any issues..Good Luck..The truck can be sold at anytime so dont wait..

Consumer Reports says Toyota, Ford, Honda and Chevy are big winners in brand perception survey

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

According to Consumer Reports, the automotive brands that stand out in the minds of car buyers are, in order: Toyota, Ford, Honda and Chevrolet. This news comes after the magazine polled its readers, asking them to take into account vehicle quality, safety, performance, value, fuel economy, design/style, and technology/innovation - which are the factors that car shoppers are most influenced by.
It's important to note that this award is only about perception. In other words, it's perceived quality, not actual quality. "Often, perception can be a trailing indicator, reflecting years of good or bad performance in a category, and it can also be influenced by headlines in the media," said Jeff Bartlett, Consumer Reports deputy automotive editor.
The brand that made the biggest jump in perception amongst Consumer Reports readers is Tesla, which posted an impressive 47-point gain to finish in fifth place. Subaru is also notable for finishing in the top 10, despite being one of the smaller manufacturers doing business in the US. Scroll down below for all the details from Consumer Reports, if you're so inclined.

Ford Explorer Jackson Pollock Edition results in trip to hospital

Tue, 02 Jul 2013

Among the many useful pieces of driving advice we've taken to heart over the years, "Safely secure all cargo" is etched pretty high on our personal stone tablets. We've had a couple of frustrating moments over the years (numerous wonky cupholders and too-tall lidded cups; a radar detector that released its suction cups and dashed itself below the dashboard, etc.), but never anything like the scene above.
These photos above come courtesy of the Washington State Patrol, and they show the unfortunate aftermath of a driver, his dog, and his Ford Explorer after it crashed near the town of Belfair last week. According to reports, the man was schlepping five-gallon containers of paint inside his vehicle when he was involved in an unexplained accident. It's not clear what triggered the crash, but the impromptu abstract painting covered the whole of the interior, including the driver and his faithful companion.
The man was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries, and his dog was cleaned and later taken to a humane society.

Ford family keeps special voting rights

Fri, 10 May 2013

Ford Motor Company has a dual-class stock structure of Class A and Class B shares. The roughly three billion Class A shares are for the general public like you and me, while the roughly 71 million Class B shares are all owned by the Ford family. Each Class A share gets the shareholder one vote, each Class B share is worth 16 votes, the result being that Common Stock holders control about 60 percent of the company while the Ford family controls 40 percent even though it holds far fewer shares. The only way that could ever change would be if the Fords sell their Class B shares, but even so, Class B shares revert to Class A when sold outside the family, so they'd have to sell a whole bunch of them.
A contingent of Class A shareholders think the dual-class system is unfair, and for the past few years a vote's been held during the annual shareholders meeting to end it. It has failed every time, as it just did again during the meeting held this week. A smidge over 33 percent voted to end the dual system, outvoted by the 67 percent who are happy with the way Ford is going - unsurprising in view of a corporate turnaround that will be part of business-class curricula for years to come.
On the sidelines, Ford elected Ellen R. Marram to the post of independent director, the first woman to hold the job. The former Tropicana CEO and 20-year Ford board member replaces retiring board member Irvine Hockaday who helped bring Alan Mulally to the CEO position.
