Nash Bros Motors- (951)545-3225

Offered up for sale by Nash Brothers Motors is a 2001 Ford F350 4x4 with the Legendary 7.3 Powerstroke Turbo Diesel. This truck is a 1 owner, and has been fleet maintained since brand new!! Never modified, tuned, or messed with etc, is and has always been 100% stock. Dont let the mileage scare you, I am a diesel fan, and have owned many, and this truck is in great shape for the miles, no blow-by from the motor, nice and quiet on cold start-ups, good smooth power etc. I have put some miles on it myself while my personal truck was down for upgrades, and i wouldn't hesitate to jump in it and drive anywhere.

2001 Ford F350 4x4 OffRoad Package

7.3 Powerstroke Turbo Diesel

362k Miles

Auto Transmission

Ice Cold/Strong A/C and Hot Heater

Cruise Control Equipped

Polished Aluminum wheels- BFG A/T tires

Tow Package

Mechanically, this truck is in great shape. It starts right up every time, regardless of temperature, sitting for week etc, always bumps right up and idles smooth. Cold start is quiet, there are no signs of blow-by on the motor, and doesn't seem to leak anything. The transmission shifts smoothly and the torque converter locks up properly at speed, no slips, stumbles etc. The 4x4 works properly, and the transfer case slides into gear smoothly as it should. Otherwise, the power steering is smooth, an the brakes are strong and track straight. I really doubt this truck ever towed, and if it did id bet it wasn't very much, knowing the fleet that it belonged to.

The interior is the XL model with the addition of cruise control. The bucket seats are comfortable with no rips or tears, and the fold down center console is in good shape. There is no back seat currently, but that should be an easy item to get at a salvage yard etc, Manual windows and locks, with vinyl floors for easy cleaning. The A/C blows cold, and the heater hot. Only downside in the truck is that there is a crack in the bottom corner of the windshield on the passenger side, and there are decals on top of the roof, (fleet numbers, easily removed)

We have a Clean CA title in hand, and the truck passed emissions and is ready to go!  Jump in now and daily drive it, put it to work etc. Give us a call anytime, we will be happy to answer any questions you may have. ++ Sales Tax and Reg fees apply to CA buyers.

This 2,000-hp Mustang is in serious need of wheelie bars

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

The Ford Mustang on the right is drag racing with the standard technique. The Mustang on the left, driven by David Measell, is using a new "rear bumper only" technique that evidently surprised everyone at the South Georgia Motorsports Park strip - including Measell.
Measell said his outfit just bought the car the week before the event, noting that it has more than 2,000 horsepower. Speaking of his "flying" run, Measell said, "We turned it up to dip on down," by which he meant they turned up the power in order to get his time down. Turns out all that power and all that traction sent the nose straight up into the air almost as soon as the race began.
He told an interviewer afterward that this was his first race in a "regular car" since he normally drives a pro-mod. "I like my wheelie bars," he concluded. You can see how he got there in the video below.

Inside Ford's high-tech climate chamber

Sat, Dec 27 2014

There are two ways an automaker can test its vehicles in extreme climates: it can send said vehicle around the world – from Death Valley to the Arctic Circle – in search of the harshest weather, or it can recreate those conditions in an enclosed environment. We're sure that many automakers undertake some combination of both, but in this latest video clip, Ford shows us around inside it's state-of-the-art climate chamber. At its Driveability Test Facility in Allen Park, MI – inaugurated in 2010 just across the street from the Roush Technology Center – Ford can simulate all sorts of extreme conditions. It can drop the temperature down to -40 degrees Fahrenheit or raise it up to 130, and take it up to a simulated 12,000 feet above sea level or drop it down to 280 feet below. blast it with 150-mile-per-hour winds. It can control the level of humidity, approximate the intensity of the sun and even blast the test vehicle with artificial snow, just like your favorite ski resort. The facility strikes us as an engineering feat as impressive as some of the vehicles it's used to test, but don't take our word for it – scope it out for yourself in this brief two-minute video clip, which even includes some helpful tips for winter driving this holiday season and beyond. Ford Mustang, F-150, Expedition, and Lincoln Navigator recalled

Wed, Apr 27 2016

The Basics: Ford will recall 201,900 examples of the 2011-2012 F-150, 2012 Expedition, 2012 Mustang, and 2012 Lincoln Navigator. The affected vehicles have the 6R80 transmission. Of the total, there are 84,000 of them in the United States and 17,900 in Canada. The Problem: The output speed sensor on the vehicle's transmission lead frame can force the gearbox to downshift into first gear. If this happens at high speed, it could cause the rear tires to slide or lock up. Injuries/Deaths: There are no reported injuries, but Ford know of three accidents related to this problem. The Fix: Dealers will update the powertrain control module software to eliminate the problem, and they'll also replace the transmission lead frame. If You Own One: Ford will begin notifying affected customers by mail on May 23. Related Video: FORD MOTOR COMPANY ISSUES THREE SAFETY RECALLS AND TWO SAFETY COMPLIANCE RECALLS IN NORTH AMERICA DEARBORN, Mich., April 27, 2016 – Ford Motor Company is issuing three safety recalls and two safety compliance recalls in North America. Details are as follows: Ford issues safety recall and customer satisfaction program for certain 2011-2012 Ford F-150, and 2012 Ford Expedition, Ford Mustang and Lincoln Navigator vehicles in North America to update powertrain control module software and inspect for certain diagnostic trouble codes Ford is issuing a safety recall for approximately 202,000 2011-2012 Ford F-150, and 2012 Ford Expedition, Ford Mustang and Lincoln Navigator vehicles for a potential issue with the output speed sensor on the vehicle's transmission lead frame. Under certain conditions, the transmission controls could force a temporary downshift into first gear. Depending on the speed of the vehicle at the time of the downshift, the driver could experience an abrupt speed reduction that could cause the rear tires to slide or lock up. This condition could result in loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash. Ford is aware of three reports of accidents and no injuries related to this condition. Affected vehicles are equipped with a 6R80 transmission and include certain 2011-2012 Ford F-150 vehicles built at Dearborn Truck Plant and Kansas City Assembly Plant, Aug. 19, 2011 through March 9, 2012; 2012 Ford Expedition vehicles built at Kentucky Truck Plant, Aug. 19, 2011 through Dec. 19, 2011; Ford Mustang vehicles built at Flat Rock Assembly Plant, Aug. 19, 2011 through Feb.
