1999 f350 dually 4wd 156000 miles. xlt lariat, tan leather, loaded. the truck is rust free I have owned this truck for about a year and a half. I don't ever use it as I work out of state. this truck is a great truck it has many upgrades--- afe cold air intake, banks intercooler, gauge pods, rear air ride(like a semi) not the cheap stuff, goose neck ball, gear vendors overdrive($4000.00) and ats transmission(I think). All I have done to the truck is put a alternator on it and change the oil. This truck gets 20 mpg at 80 turning 1800 rpm. if you know the 7.3 then you understand that's low rpm for that speed. The bad there is a air line that has a slow leak takes about 24 hrs. to leak down. the gear vendors has a bad wire connection under the carpet should be a easy fix(if you put your foot in the right place it disengages move your foot it engages), passengers fender is broke on the front lower not visible from the side. This is a great running truck that I hate to get rid of but I don't need it. I would drive this truck anywhere. I have a no reserve on this truck so someone is going to get a great deal. if you have any questions please call as I work outside and am not the best computer guy. 317-319-1952 the welder in the second picture is not included in this sale. Google's new Android Autos OS unveiled, will be in cars this year [w/video]
Wed, 25 Jun 2014Connected cars are coming en-masse. We know this much. How, though, remains something of an open question, especially as two of the world's largest tech companies are preparing to battle for control of your car's dashboard. On the one hand, we have Apple and its CarPlay system. And now, we know what Google has been working on with Auto Link.
Its new name is Android Auto, and yes, it's based off the Android architecture that is the primary challenger to Apple's iOS mobile operating system. Announced at Google's I/O conference today, Android Auto functions similarly to CarPlay - owners will need to plug their smartphones into their cars to access the full breadth of capability.
In Android Auto's case, that means a wealth of voice controls to limit distracted driving. Google's marquee apps will be available when the interface arrives in production models later this year, including Google Play Music, Google Maps and voice-activated texting and text playback. Meanwhile, developers will be able to begin designing custom apps for the new system via an upcoming software development kit.

The reporter headed to Dearborn, MI to Ford's assembly plant, with a film crew in tow, to see exactly how his new F-150 SVT Raptor and its mother-loving 6.2-liter V8 engine, was screwed together.
The resulting video does an excellent job of summing up how an assemblage of parts and pieces is turned into a triple-black Raptor, thanks to the work of some 1,000 employees and about 20 hours of real time. XCAR stages epic drag race between Ford GT40, GT70 and GT
Mon, 19 Aug 2013XCAR has put together what it believes is a first - a drag race between Ford's legendary, Le Mans-winning GT40, the more recent GT supercar it inspired and the little-known GT70 rally car. The three mid-engined monsters were all built for very different purposes, and not surprisingly, they come to battle with very different powertrains.
The GT40 is powered by a thumping, naturally aspirated V8. This example, which looks like a Mark IV model, is likely powered by a 7.0-liter engine, although it's not entirely clear how much power it's putting down. The GT70, meanwhile, was Ford's response to the Lancia Stratos. Considering that the Lancia is one of the greatest rally cars in history and many of you are probably just hearing of the GT70 for the first time, you can imagine how much success Ford had with it. Only six were produced before a change in regulations doomed this mid-engined rally car.
The Ford GT, meanwhile, doesn't really need an introduction. 550 horsepower is on offer from a 5.4-liter, supercharged V8, which keeps the GT competitive even against more modern supercars. 60 miles per hour arrives in well under four seconds while the top speed sits at 212 mph. Not bad for a car that went out of production in 2006.
