Customized Ford F350 Crew Cab Long Bed 4x4 with the legendary bullet-proof Powerstroke 7.3 Diesel with only 79,400
miles ! That's correct, a 7.3 with less than 80,000 miles! This is a rare customized Roll-A-Long vehicle with
custom Italian leather seats, custom rear bumper, custom front grill, custom fender flares, custom 3-tone paint,
custom mud flaps, custom overhead console, custom door kick plates and custom side steps. Original owner had this
truck in (dry desert) Las Vegas until July 2013. This vehicle has an Alpine touch screen stereo DVD system with the
GPS navigation module and it's wired for satellite radio (you only need to purchase a plug-and-play receiver).
Wood dash kit, power driver's seat, automatic transmission, 2" hitch receivers front and rear. This truck has
been set up to pull a fifth wheel trailer, it has fifth wheel rails, a custom fifth wheel overhead rack with
movable cross arms that allows you to carry cargo on the roof with your fifth wheel attached ( I have carried
bikes, kayaks and a storage pod on this rack while pulling my fifth wheel), has both a fifth wheel tail gate and
the original tail gate. Rear suspension has been beefed up with Torklift Stableload leaf spring pre-actuators and
Timbren suspension kit (heavy duty rubber springs similar to air bags but never leak or need maintenance), shock
absorbers upgraded to Mountain Ryder XT 's (only 9000 miles on them). Also has frame mounted Torklift camper tie
downs if you want to mount a camper instead. Sentinel electronic brake controller. Locking tool box with "gull
wing" side opening lids (no getting into the bed to access your things). The long bed was originally lined when
new with Rhino Linings spray-on liner so the bed is in excellent condition, I added a thick rubber bed pad.
Windshield was replaced last year (rock damage), four new door actuators this winter (one was broken, I had all
four replaced). Tire size upgraded to 285 / 75 R16 's. BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A tires are three years old and
have only about 9000 miles on them. Non-smoking vehicle. Tow package and camper package, 3.73 limited slip axle,
day time running lights, engine block heater, power mirrors, 38 gallon fuel tank, sliding rear window. For
additional features see the picture of the original window stickers. This truck cost $46,410 when new in 1999 (not
including taxes, etc) , that's $66,975 in today's dollars (per dollartimes.com). This truck has been regularly
maintained using synthetic oil, maintenance records and owner's manuals are included. Two keys, owner's manuals,
maintenance records, clean title, pink slip (owner's certificate) in hand. Disclosure: clear coat on passenger
side shows some pealing, hood has some clear coat staining, paint and body have minor dings and scratches
commensurate with the truck's age, it looks great from 20 paces as you can see from pictures, but on close
examination you can see these cosmetic issues.

Ford to ramp up Lincoln rollout in China in bid to catch rivals
Thu, Apr 12 2018DETROIT/BEIJING — Ford Motor Co's premium Lincoln brand plans to build as many as five new vehicles in China by 2022, according to two U.S. sources, in a move to expand sales in the world's largest vehicle market that would also blunt the impact of trade U.S.-China trade spats. Ford has said it plans to build an all-new sport utility vehicle in China by the end of 2019, however the company has not detailed future production plans for the Lincoln brand in China beyond that. "Our localization plans to support the China market are on track and will serve to further drive Lincoln's growth in China," Lincoln spokeswoman Angie Kozleski said. "Beyond that, it would be premature to discuss our future product and production plans or timing." Sources familiar with Ford's production plans told Reuters the automaker now expects to begin building the new Lincoln Aviator in China in late 2019 or early 2020, along with replacements for the MKC compact crossover and the MKZ midsize sedan, followed in 2021 by the all-new Nautilus, which replaces the Lincoln MKX crossover. A fifth model, a small coupe-like crossover, is tentatively slated for production in China in 2022, the sources said. Ford has much to lose if the war of words over trade between China and U.S. President Donald Trump escalates into a full-blown tariff war. Last year, it shipped about 80,000 vehicles to China from North America, more than half of them Lincolns to support the brand's growth. All Lincoln vehicles that Ford now sells in China are brought in from North America. Even if China does reduce its 25 percent tariff on imported vehicles - as Chinese President Xi Jinping promised on Tuesday - it is not clear that would mean a big, long-term increase in Fords and Lincolns made in U.S. factories heading to Chinese showrooms. Ford is pursuing long-range plans to build more vehicles in China to serve a market that is now roughly 60 percent larger than the U.S. market, and projected to keep growing. But it is playing catch up to hometown rival General Motors Co and German luxury brands including Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, which have invested heavily in Chinese production in recent years as a form of insurance against trade, political and currency gyrations and to lower price points for their premium cars.
Detroit 3 small cars lay an egg in latest Consumer Reports reliability study
Tue, 28 Oct 2014Consumer Reports has released its Annual Auto Reliability Survey and the results are, in a word, interesting. While we already covered the score-damaging effects of infotainment systems, there's another big angle to the data that's getting some attention - the utterly dismal scores of the Detroit Three's small car offerings.
The turbocharged Dodge Dart and Chevrolet Cruze, as well as the Ford Fiesta were their respective brands' lowest-scoring models, a stat that's made worse by the fact that the American automakers finished 25th, 21st and 23rd, respectively.
That's not acceptable for The Detroit Free Press' auto critic, Mark Phelan, who has penned a scathing critique of the D3's small car reliability scores, arguing that GM, Ford and Chrysler are "out of excuses."
FBI investigating recently fired Ford engineer for espionage
Fri, 25 Jul 2014Agents of the FBI are investigating a potential case of industrial espionage involving a recently fired Ford employee. The Dearborn, MI-based manufacturer had its world headquarters searched by FBI agents on July 11, and according to The Detroit News, had warrants to seize recording devices handed over to Ford by Sharon Leach, a now-former Ford engineer.
Leach, who had spent 17 years with the Blue Oval, was fired last month, after Ford Security relieved her of eight Sansa listening devices. The FBI got involved shortly after her dismissal, searching her home on June 20 and seizing some two dozen items, including computers, jump drives and financial records, according to warrants obtained by The News.
Ford has remained quiet on the matter, with spokeswoman Susan Krusel confirming that the automaker was working with the FBI as part of a "joint investigation," while declining to provide any additional details.
