Up for auction is a 1999 Ford F-350 crew cab pickup. The mileage is 202,500. Automatic transmission, power windows, seat. Air conditioning. AM/FM stereo with cd and cassette player. CD player does not work. Interior is in good condition. There looks like it had gum or something on passenger seat. Was like this when we bought it. There is damage to the left rear wheel on bed. A tire blew out and tire hit the fender and dented it and you can see in the picture, there is some rust in front of the rear driver side wheel. Also was like this when we bought it. It has the hideaway gooseneck ball in bed. Receiver hitch below the bumper also. It comes with alloy wheels. This will be a five day auction. Five hundred dollars non refundable deposit at auctions end. Five days after auctions end remainder balance must be paid unless other arrangements have been made. Watch how Ford torture-tested the 2015 F-150
Wed, 09 Apr 2014The Ford F-150 has been the best-selling truck in the United States for the past 37 years, and the best-selling vehicle outright for the past 32. That's quite a legacy, and thus, it's no surprise that Ford worked super-duper-extra hard on creating the all-new, aluminum-bodied 2015 F-150 that debuted at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
During an event at the company's headquarters in Dearborn, MI this week, we were able to see all of the ways that Ford endurance tests, not just the new F-150, but all of its vehicles. From examining things like light exposure to interior materials and paint finishes, to making sure that corrosion absolutely does not happen when steel components come in contact with aluminum panels in the new truck. The goal: ensure that the new F-150 is nothing short of "Built Ford Tough."
But that's only a small part of the story. Of course, the new F-150 has to be able to withstand whatever a pickup buyer might throw at it - and truck buyers arguably demand the most from their vehicles. So in an effort to convey just what the new F-150 had to go through before being given the final go-ahead, Ford has released a series of videos, showing how its new halo truck was indeed torture tested.

Ford vandalizes the SEMA Show floor with 2014 Transit Connect
Tue, 05 Nov 2013The Ford booth here at SEMA is practically a 1970s throwback with all these customized vans sitting front and center. And we're completely fine with that. Take the black and yellow (black and yellow, black and yellow) 2014 Transit Connect from Mobsteel above. It's got a great stance, sits on steel wheels and has a pretty cool paint job and graphics package to boot.
Of course, that's not the only van you can see at the Ford booth.
