This is one of the nicest trucks you will find! It has been my personal truck for a long time, but now it sits more than it's driven and I have decided to sell it to someone hopefully who can use it and take care of it.

I have used this truck to pull my race car trailers and also our 5th wheel. It is set up with a 97 gallon aux. fuel tank, gooseneck ball and a B&W 5th wheel hitch. It also has a receiver hitch as well.

I personally installed an inter-cooler with a Ford Super Duty retrofit. Aftermarket air filter and exhaust down pipe are also included and I installed pyrometer, boost pressure, transmission oil temperature and vacuum gauges as well as a true proportional trailer brake controller. The computer chip installed is a 4 page chip with high idle, stock, tow and performance modes.

The transmission was rebuilt at 170,326 miles by Green's Automatic Transmission Service in Waco, Texas and Keith built up the transmission for heavy duty towing service with special converter and internal components. I also installed a high GVWR transmission cooler.

The oil has been changed every 3,000 miles, the transmission fluid has been changed every 25,000 miles. The anti-freeze coolant has been drained/flushed every 2 years or 50,000 miles whichever came first. The coolant filter I installed has the coolant additive included to prevent cavitation and is changed every year. Front and rear brakes were rebuilt at 200,000 and new Monroe shocks were also installed at that time.

There is so much more to discuss or say, but I hope you get the idea. This truck is NOT a tire kicker. You must see to appreciate! If you have been searching for an older body style Ford 7.3 diesel you won't find a better one than this. The oil in the truck is clean and it uses no oil between changes.  Truck has 254,000 miles and runs and drives excellent. It does have some dings and scratches as all used vehicles will, so you will have to see for yourself.

Price is $12,500 with everything included as stated and in the pictures. I have way more than that in the truck with the options installed, but it has been an excellent truck and runs, drives and pulls great.

Ford Escort testing, may be bound for Europe

    Tue, 01 Apr 2014

There has been little news about Ford's China-focused Escort concept since debuting at last year's Shanghai Motor Show, but the no-frills sedan has shown its camouflaged face again during cold weather testing in Northern Sweden. While far from a guarantee, the test location might hint that the Blue Oval plans to market the car outside of Asia.
The Escort's black robe and zebra paint make it hard to tell if anything specific has changed about the design, but the shape of the sedan looks close to what was shown in Shanghai. Under the disguise, you can still make out the hexagonal front grille from the concept. When Ford announced the model, the company said that the design wasn't supposed to be "arrogant or pretentious," and it certainly achieved that. The engine range is still a mystery, but it seems safe to expect small, economy-focused powertrains.
A report from last year indicated that Ford may be considering broadening the new Escort beyond Asia and possibly even selling it in Europe. The fact that the company brought it to Sweden for testing could bolster that argument. A release date hasn't been set yet, but the automaker has promised 15 new products for China by 2015. The basic sedan could be on the road soon.
