This is a hard to find classic Ford diesel truck. I liken it to a Boss 429 Mustang. It's the final year of production for this sharp body style. F-350 4X4 with the Dana60 straight front axle, four door cab and the long bed. This old truck is in very nice condition for it's age. It has 3.55 gearing with plenty of pep, but will run down the highway at 80MPH. It runs,drives,stops,steers and shifts very well. You can drive it on the interstate with a thumb and a finger. It doesn't shake, shimmy or pull. This truck has been garage kept and adult owned. It's bone stock and never messed with or abused. It's never had a gooseneck or a fifth wheel hitch. It does have a class 3 rear hitch with both electrical plugs and an electric brake control under the dash. The tires are oversized LT 305/70R 16 with 4 to 7/32 nds. of tread. The tall tires do cause the speedometer to read a little slow.The interior is near perfect and the body is very nice with the exception of the rear wheel wells. When I got it out to take these pictures it did smoke a little until it warmed up. But, it had not been started for a month or so. It's very nice and dry underneath and doesn't leak on the garage floor. I have listed the defects and will answer any questions that you may have about the truck. You may come see and drive it before bidding if you like. I want the buyer to be pleased, and if you like the older Ford diesel trucks, you will surely like this one. Ford and 'Dirty Jobs' pitchman Mike Rowe part ways [w/videos]

Former Dirty Jobs host Mike Rowe has one less job as of today - the pitchman is no longer a pitchman for Ford, with yesterday's announcement from Rowe ending a seven-year partnership between the TV host and the Blue Oval.
Rowe made the announcement to political pundit Glenn Beck, saying the two are "going in different directions" and wishing Ford "every possibly success that any car company could ever have," according to The Detroit News. Rowe and Ford got together in 2005, right around the time the 51-year-old came to prominence as the host of Dirty Jobs and the narrator for Deadliest Catch, two of the Discovery Channel's most popular shows.

As we recently discovered, there's something different about driving a police car. That's true whether you're talking about a modern Dodge Charger Pursuit or, yes, the legendary Ford Mustang SSP. Former Autoblog staffer and current Road and Track web editor Zach Bowman discovered this when he shanghaied a 2015 Mustang GT and made the trip to Nashville, TN to drive the very first Mustang SSP police car. The two-tone, V8-powered prototype was delivered into the welcoming arms of the California Highway Patrol back in 1981 for evaluation. Bowman chatted up cop-car aficionado Mike Strinich, the prototype's current owner, and managed to score some seat time in the car, which provided a unique interesting contrast to the SSP's 435-horsepower junior. Ford Mustang hit by Moore' Oklahoma's EF5 tornado lives to do another burnout

Oklahoma recently saw the destructive power of an EF5 tornado, but in the aftermath of the devastation, we've also been witness to the incredible resilience of the human spirit. Moore, OK resident Jack Haden survived the storm but found that his 2003 Ford Mustang wasn't quite as lucky. As you can see in the image above, the tornado's 200+ mph winds did quite a number on the car, but while most people would have likely called their insurance company and scrapped the car, Haden had other plans.
After finding the car and seeing that its V6 still fired up, Haden spent a couple hours getting the car, um... roadworthy(?)... by removing the doors and front clip, cutting off the roof and putting on some new wheels and tires. He noticed that driving it around brought some comic relief to an area that needed a reason to laugh and smile.
