I have here a 1997 F-350 Crew Cab Dually Powerstroke. It is the Mark 3 series with all power accessories, including a new factory TV w/video cassette tape player, and it still works.This has a 7.3 liter diesel engine with turbo. It has an E40D automatic transmission and not quite 184000 miles on it. It was built with the tow package which consists of a flip up ball for goose neck trailers, factory rails for a fifth wheel hitch as well as a 10,000 lbs rated bumper for pull behinds.Truck was recently serviced with tie rod ends and rear axle seals. A picture shows the factory sticker which indicates that the factory tires are 215-85-16, however, all crew cab models with the "Tow package" are sold with 235-85-16 tires that are rated for towing most anything. These tires have excellent tread, but, are dry cracked from not much use these past ten years. The only other issue with this truck is that the cruise control stopped working on my last trip to Texas. Front leather seats needs to be covered or redone to original and the windshield needs to be replaced. Kelly Blue Book values this truck at $8750. My reserve is less than then that.

Ford gives S-Max the Vignale treatment in Milan
Wed, 09 Apr 2014Ford has a bit of a history in reviving the names of old coachbuilders it has long since gobbled up and using them to distinguish its top-of-the-line models in Europe. That's what it did for years with Ghia, and after having replaced it several years ago with the Titanium trim level, now it's doing it again with Vignale.
At the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, Ford revealed the Mondeo Vignale concept in both sedan and wagon body-styles, which are set to reach production next year. But before they do, the Blue Oval automaker is at it again, applying similar upgrades to the S-Max minivan and unveiling it in concept form in Milan this week.
Setting the Vignale concept apart from any other S-Max is its Milano Grigio rose-hued silver pearlescent paint, 21-inch alloys, chrome trim and hexagonal-pattern grille. Inside it's all ultra-soft quilted leather and aluminum trim, with tablet docking stations in the back and thinner, more flexible seats than the existing production version.

2014 is shaping up to be a big year for Ford Motor Company, as it's announced an onslaught of 23 new global product launches which will help create 5,000 new jobs in the US. As part of the new product push, three more manufacturing plants will be opened.
Fields 'required' to use private aircraft, could make $5.25M as Ford CEO this year
Thu, 03 Jul 2014Mark Fields' travels on the friendly skies will soon be a relatively personal affair, as the new CEO at Ford will be required to resume air travel via the company's private planes. Fields caught plenty of flak in 2007 for flying on the company's dime to visit his family in Florida. He's since flown commercial.
According to Ford spokesperson Susan Krusel, who spoke to Bloomberg, Fields (pictured above right, with Bill Ford, Jr. at center and Alan Mulally at left) will switch to private travel "for safety and to maximize his availability for company business." In addition to his new travel arrangements, the 53-year-old exec's salary and bonuses have been revealed.
Regulatory filings by Ford revealed that Fields, whose first day in the big chair was July 1, will receive a base salary this year of $1.25 million and he'll be eligible for $3.5 million in bonuses, both of which are lower than Alan Mulally's $2 million salary and $5.88 million in bonuses received last year. That's also lower than General Motors CEO Mary Barra's alleged $1.6-million salary and considerably less than Sergio Marchionne's $3.19-million fixed salary from Fiat. Despite falling short of other CEOs, Fields' new pay still represents a 33-percent increase over his pay as Chief Operating Officer.
