WOW!! This truck is nice. This is a 1996 Ford F-350 XLT, 4x2, Crew Cab, Long Box, Dually. It has the bullet proof 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel and an Automatic Transmission. This truck is like new inside and has been very well taken care of. This truck has power windows and locks, CD Player, AC, & Cruise. This truck runs and drives like new with no known mechanical issues of any kind. The tires are nearly new, and I would jump in this truck and drive anywhere. This truck is stock with the exception of bigger exhaust and an aftermarket cold air intake. It has the factory tow package as well as a gooseneck hitch. This is a very nice looking truck overall. It does have a small ding in the drivers side dually flare and some paint peel on the tailgate. A little clear coat is also coming off on the passenger side dually flare. This truck is being sold by Horsepower Auto Brokers, LLC. It is sold as-is. If you are a Colorado resident, applicable sales tax will be collected in addition to the final bid price. 2015 Ford Focus gets more Aston-y [w/video]
Tue, 04 Mar 2014With more and more members of the Ford brand adopting a new familial face, the Focus has been left looking like an odd man out. At the Geneva Auto Show, though, it properly rejoined the family, adopting the now familiar Aston Martin-ish grille that's proliferated throughout the range.
Overall, we're liking the refreshed Focus' look. Aside from the new grille, the headlights have been restyled and now look like elongated versions of the lamps on the Focus ST. Functionally, those headlamps are bi-xenon units, complete with an adaptive front lighting system. Out back, the rear retains the same overall look, which has been smoothed out for 2015.
In the cabin, the second-generation of Ford's much-maligned Sync system makes its debut. Sync 2, as it's called, is supposedly more intuitive than the first-gen system. Ford is promising "one-shot" navigation functions for the system. Saying "I'm hungry," should bring up a list of nearby restaurants. Of course, we'll be reserving final judgment until we can test the new system in person.
Martin Smith retires, Joel Piaskowski in as Ford Europe design chief
Thu, 29 May 2014The mind behind the look of much of the modern Ford global range is retiring. Martin Smith, Head of Ford Design in Europe, will give up his position on July 1 and will leave the company altogether at the end of the year. He will be replaced by current Strategic Concepts Group leader Joel Piaskowski (pictured above).
Smith has led Ford of Europe design for the past 10 years, and he was partially responsible for the brand's Kinetic Design language with a large grille and swept-back headlights found on the Focus, Fiesta and C-Max, as well as several other vehicles abroad. After stepping down on July 1 until his retirement at the end of 2014, Smith will work on a project to decide the future direction of the company's look with Moray Callum, its vice president of design.
Piaskowski already has some impressive credentials in terms of automotive design as well. He joined Ford in 2010 as director of exterior design and led the teams responsible for the 2015 Ford Mustang and next-generation F-150. He was also previously design director at Ford Asia Pacific. Before working at the Blue Oval, Piaskowski held positions at Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai and General Motors. Scroll down to read the complete announcement of this changing of the guard.
