1995 F-350 Powerstroke

I am selling my 1995 F-350 Powerstroke. I have owned it the past 100,000 miles and it has been an amazing truck to me. Due to the latest 7.3 Liter added to my collection I am forced to sell her. I am stationed out here on the east coast and I will need to travel soon and I can only take one of the trucks. I will never buy another truck that doesnt have this engine in it. I will swear by this powerstroke. She is absolutely a workhorse. I rolled over 300,000 miles just a couple months ago and she is still as strong as she ever was. I need to pass it on to someone who will enjoy the truck as much as I have.

My truck is the XLT so it has power locks, windows, cruise control, tilt, ice cold a/c and heat that will burn you out. My truck is also ready to haul, either by bumper or by gooseneck. Equiped with trailer hookups for both. Horse trailer light plug in the bed and a 7 way plug on the bumper. The only thing aftermarket that it has enginewise is the edge programmer. I only use it on tow mode. I use that to get a little better mileage.

A few recent fixes that I have had to do to the truck are -
- Vacuum Pump
- Parking Break Cable
- Permanent Clutch Linkage Fix Under The Dash
Here is the link if you would like to check out what that is.
- Mechanical Fuel Pump on Top of the Block

The only down is that the two passenger rear tires are in need of being changed out. Every now and then there is a drop of oil on the ground if I leave it idling but nothing serious. Like I said this truck is a workhorse, it has 4:10 gearing, that being said the transmission is an awesome 5 speed manual. I start it off in second gear due to the first being like a granny gear. The synchro in second tends to make a grind noise ig going over about 15 and trying to downshift into it. I really dont do that any way and there really is never a reason to but I just wanted to put that into the listing.
I hate to see this truck go. I really wish I didn't have to sell it. Well, there it is in a nutshell. If there are any questions feel free to call/text (979) 200-1832. You can also email me at jstrong919@gmail.com. During the day email would be best. I will be happy to give more info or pictures upon request.

I am selling this truck locally also and reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Happy Bidding

If it brings around what I want I will be willing to deliver around a 100 miles. If buy it now is pressed I will go up to 175 miles delivery from Crofton MD free of charge. It will have to be a weekend for me to deliver though.

Unrestored 1969 Shelby GT500 one of many classic barn finds going to auction

Wed, 19 Mar 2014

We love a good barn find here at Autoblog. We like that there's a palpable excitement and sense of mystery surrounding barn finds. Each case has its own uniqueness to it, and this latest discovery is no different: an unrestored, one-owner 1969 Shelby GT500 with just 8,531 miles on it.
In the case of this particular barn find, many of the typical questions have already been answered. For example, we know who owned it - his name was Larry Brown. He recently passed away, and as he had no wife or children to inherit the estate, the car he purchased at Pennsylvania Ford dealer in May of 1969, will be auctioned off by Ron Gilligan Auctioneers.
The car was fastidiously maintained, having never been driven in the rain. In fact, Brown never even washed it, out of fear of it rusting. According to the auction website, the last time this car saw water was probably when it was detailed ahead of being delivered to Brown. If that doesn't sound like a fanatical sense of maintenance on the part of this GT500's owner, this next part will. The interior has been treated to a similarly painstaking attempt at preservation, with garbage bags covering the seats and two layers of floor mats over the carpets. The result is a car that, aesthetically, is in remarkable shape considering it's spent so long in a barn.

Watch Ford build a Mustang atop Burj Khalifa, world's tallest building

Sun, Nov 23 2014

In 1965, a Ford Mustang Convertible proudly went on display at the top of the Empire State Building, the world's tallest building at the time. Earlier this year, the Blue Oval recreated the stunt by bringing the latest droptop 'Stang to the sky-high structure. Unfortunately, while still iconic, the New York skyscraper has lost the world title. Of course, an automaker can't let something like that get in the way of a good publicity stunt. For the inauguration of the Ford business unit in the Middle East and Africa, the brand gave the 2015 Mustang Convertible an even bigger building to climb – the biggest in fact. The droptop made its way to the 112th floor of the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building. To put a final topper on the whole event, executive chairman Bill Ford was the one to place the car's famous badge, making it complete. Like with the Empire State Building spectacle, getting the Mustang to the top wasn't as simple as just driving it off the elevator. Check out the video above to see how it was done, and scroll down to read Ford's press release about the event. NEW MUSTANG UNVEILED ON WORLD'S TALLEST BUILDING, BURJ KHALIFA Bill Ford helps inaugurate Ford's latest business unit, Middle East and Africa, an exciting, vibrant region that represents the final frontier for growth in the auto industry Ford pledged to launch 25 vehicles in region by 2016, including the all-new Mustang debuting next year Industry sales in Middle East & Africa are expected to grow 40 per cent to 5.5 million vehicles by 2020 Dubai, U.A.E., Nov. 20, 2014 – Ford Motor Company underscored its growing ambitions in the Middle East and Africa, with the dramatic introduction of the all-new Mustang on Dubai's Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building. Ford Executive Chairman Bill Ford capped the live-action event by delivering the iconic pony badge to the 2015 yellow Mustang on the 112th floor of the skyscraper. The event was viewed live around the world on YouTube as well as by approximately 10,000 fans gathered in the Dubai Downtown area, overlooking the Dubai Fountain and Burj Khalifa. "Today we planted the Ford flag in the Middle East & Africa, an exciting, vibrant region that represents the final frontier for growth in the auto industry," Bill Ford said.

Car Club USA: Louisiana Mudfest

Tue, Jun 16 2015

There's nothing quite like mudding. Big tires, huge power, and crazy-wild gearheads that like to throw down on a mud pit almost as much as a thirty rack of Coors. In the latest, and some might argue greatest yet episode of Car Club USA, we head to Louisiana to throw some dirt at Mudfest. As Louisiana's one and only Mouth of the South puts it, "If you don't mud ride... go to Texas I guess." Joining The Mouth and friendly rivals The Most Hated Mud Sluts, we dive in. Beyond the obvious V8 blasting and tractor-tire spinning, those who know best describe Mudfest as, "Good cooking, good friends, good fun, and a lot of partying." It's a motorsport spectacle unlike any you're likely to find up North or out West, though no less impressive to behold. Follow along with the fun, the impromptu drag racing, the trash talking, and the mechanical madness. And find out why, at Mudfest, "if we don't tear it up, we ain't done it right." Each Car Club USA episode features a different car club or event from across the US, where passionate owner communities gather to share automotive experiences and embark on incredible adventures. From Main Street cruises to off-road trails, catch all the latest car club activity on Autoblog. Chevrolet Ford Jeep RAM Truck Off-Road Vehicles Car Club USA Videos autoblog black
