Video of Truck: 7.3L International IDI Diesel 4x4 Crew Cab Bradford Built Flatbed Auto Transmission This mechanically driven Ford F-350 is a great truck. I am the second owner and have service records from day one in 1993. This is a reliable truck that starts every time. I'm a very honest transparent seller and can answer all your questions. The title is clean and will be sold AS-IS with Bill of Sale. Based in Reno Nevada Call or text me any time. 775-four one two-7895 The Bradford Built bed has a Gooseneck hitch and is 5th wheel ready. The side rails are 6in tall and fold down to a completely "flat"bed. Under the rails are 2x4 stake holes. Has the pump been turned up, anything like that? How many MPGs are you getting? How is the transmission life?” The fuel has been turned up slightly. ATS recommends that turbo not get above 1100 deg in temp. On a hill grade I can get to that temp fairly easily. So I haven't turned it up anymore. Getting 12-15mpg, since the turbo and injectors upgrade I'm closer to 15mpg. Transmission is great, Banks Trans Command was installed years ago. Everything is tight and shifts easily. "Oh yea, I know that for sure. Ive had 4 7.3s, but they have all been manuals and I’ve been able to get 18-20 from them. What kind of driving/speeds on the freeway are getting you 15? you spool the turbo all the time?” turbo is always going. 70 “Ok sounds good. Yea the turbo is always going but it doesn't always dump fuel into the motor. It does when your in boost. What kind of RPMs are you turning at 70? And do you have any more interior pics? Also, do you have interior pics? What's the deal with the turbo, you just added it or is it a new unit? Do you have receipts?” 2200rpm @70. Check out video I added to description “Oh ok cool. What is the toggle switch on the dash you are holding? And I'm not sure if you got my other email, but what's the deal with the turbo? New, or what? You have receipts? And what's the stereo like? Thanks for humoring me and all my questions.” Manual glow plug switch. So you can hold it longer or not at all. Its a ATS turbo kit 088 off another truck. I rebuilt it and installed myself. Pioneer deck and speakers. Better then stock but not fancy “Oh ok cool. What has been done for the turbo kit? I assume it was a non turbo truck Untill that was installed. How much boost? Turbo fully rebuilt? Any blow by?” Had to bend firewall back for up and down tube. The turbo oil supply is tee'ed with oil pressure sending unit. The gauge is still fine. The CDR is moved to side of new red air box. Boost anywhere from 5-10psi. (I’m at 5000ft OSL)Still trying to get gauge accurate. Need to add sealant to nylon supply line. I replaced a bearing and cleaned turbo, propeller was fine. There is blow by but truck still runs well. With or with out turbo or blow by don't expect to maintain 70mpg at hill grade. |

Ford readying three-row Edge for China
Fri, Nov 21 2014The next-generation Ford Edge will be available with quite a growth spurt for its debut in China next year, with newly announced plans also to build and sell a three-row version exclusively in the People's Republic. However, markets outside of there likely won't see the larger model. Ford marketing boss (and future head of Ford of Europe) Jim Farley announced the three-row version of the crossover at the Los Angeles Auto Show, according to Automotive News. To create the extra room, Ford made the Chinese-built variant about 16 inches longer than its two-row counterpart. Farley didn't specify at which of the Blue Oval's plants in the country this model would be assembled. The Explorer and forthcoming Everest already offer three rows from the Ford lineup in China, but the company thinks the market can easily support all of them. According to Farley to Automotive News, the utility segment is up 485 percent in the country since 2008. Customers in the US can still look forward to the two-row Edge hitting dealers early next year. It'll be the first model in the Blue Oval's lineup here to come standard with EcoBoost power.
Aussie Ford Falcon GT shows its rear end to Lamborghini Gallardo
Sun, 27 Apr 2014When Ford Australia announces, as it did recently, that it wants to celebrate the end of its Ford Performance Vehicle division with a Falcon FPV GT-F that celebrates big-bore origins of the nameplate, it's talking about the kind of car in this video.
At some point the classic Falcon GT - said to be an XY series - was invited to a test of acceleration against a Lamborghini Gallardo. At the very least, the Falcon GT had a 351 cubic-inch motor and 300 horsepower, but whatever this guy's got under the hood of his yellow sedan makes has him so confident that he doesn't even move his elbow from its resting place on the door.
You'll find a reminder of Ford Australia's heyday, a raucous exhaust note and some NSFW language in the short video below.
Lincoln Aviator could make a comeback
Tue, Jun 9 2015The idea of Lincoln dropping its alphanumeric scheme in favor of real names was welcomed by fans of the marque and even appeared possible after the rousing reception to the Continental concept. Now, rumors suggest that the next of the luxury brand's nameplates to see a possible revival just might be the Aviator. Don't get your hopes up quite yet, though. The Truth About Cars admits that this tip comes from a second-hand source, but the person reports that Lincoln has a project codenamed Aviator as a model based on the Explorer. There's evidence to give the rumor some shaky support, though. Ford already has the trademarks for the name and AV8R. Also, an Explorer-based vehicle in 2019 is included for the brand's predictions in the recent Car Wars forecast. Autoblog reached out to company spokesperson Sam Locricchio, but he would not speculate about future products. The same source claims to The Truth About Cars that the Blue Oval might not replace the Ford Flex or Lincoln MKT when the current generations come to an end. Also, the next-gen Expedition and Navigator could use 10-speed automatics and follow the F-150 to get aluminum bodies, which is also already rumored. Although, all of this should be taken with a big grain of salt until anything more official has arrived. Lincoln spokesperson Stephane Cesareo gave The Truth About Cars no comment on the rumor, but said, "By 2020, we expect to expand the segments that we participate in by adding two new nameplates to the Lincoln brand. We have not provided any indications about the products or their names." Related Video:
