2006 Ford F350 Super Duty, crew cab, lariat package, dual rear wheels, 8' bed. This is a very sharp truck. Never driven in snow or salt. Always housed in a heated building. Truck has only 37,000 original miles. Just put 6 new Michelin tires on it. It has a 5th wheel ball in the bed with the wiring right there also, as well as a heavy duty tow package with electric brake hook up. There's 3 nice aluminum tool boxes in the bed, and a thick rubber mat on the floor. The inside is all leather with all the bells and whistles. Power everything, cd, 4 wheel drive, heated seats, heated mirrors, everything one could want. The pictures tell you more then I can say. It was taken very well care of. On any given day, and every single weekend, there's at least one parking in the country invaded by manufacturer and team trucks. The be-chromed beasts and their 53-foot trailers are slotted into rows, men and women decorate the lot with orange cones to mark the invisible tracery of a temporary track, cars get unloaded, crews fret over them. The ritual can be as beautiful as the sunrise to those with enthusiast hearts, but it's just as common.
PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]
Wed, 19 Jun 2013PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place.
