Here's Another NO RESERVE auction for a 1997 Ford F-250 H.D., 4x4, Available from C&J Auto! We are going to sell this great running Truck at the end of the auction for whatever it brings.!! Hold onto your hats because someone is going to drive away an incredible deal! Keep your eyes on this one, get your bid in early. Don't wait to throw it a bid early because you'll be kicking yourself if you forget! It's going to sell, NO MATTER WHAT IT BRINGS!
IMPORTANT: If you are new to Ebay and have less than 5 previous transactions completed, or have less than a 95% positive feedback rating, you MUST contact me before placing a bid. Either call first @ (970) 214-0979, or contact us through the upper right "ask seller a question" button on this listing. We welcome and certainly appreciate your business, but we absolutely need to know we are dealing with a legitimate buyer planning on following through on their purchase. By placing a bid on this vehicle, you are entering a legal binding contract to purchase the vehicle. This means if you are the high bidder at auctions end, you agree to purchase it, and you own it. (not inspect & think about it later). I have never been to an auction anywhere in the USA where this policy is any different. We have had people win top bid and experience buyers' remorse. I hear, I changed my mind, my wife won't let me have it, I really don't have the money, I thought it was new, I don't like the paint, etc.etc.etc. . ....Well, it just doesn't work that way !?!?. Folks, the time to inspect and decide is BEFORE you buy! Understand, We still owe the Auto auctions for these vehicles. It still costs us a week of our time answering questions and $$+ in Ebay listing fees, -they do not refund us. We expect a $500 deposit within 24 hours of auction end. Full payment within 3 days. We are a small mom and pop business and do not have the time, nor the extra money for those games. Be ABSOLUTELY sure you are able to follow through on your bid. We will take ALL legal actions necessary to protect our interests should it need to come down to that. I understand this all sounds terrible, but unfortunately it must be said for the few that have ruined it for the rest of us. Thanks for understanding.
Here's a 97 Ford F-250 that runs excellent. I probably don't have to tell you how hard it is to find a small block powered 3/4 ton 8-lug pickup truck! The 5.8 liter V8 fires right up and sounds great. No lifter noise, bearing noise, rocker arm ticking, smoking, or dripping. It holds good oil pressure and runs strong and smooth. We just got this one and haven't done anything to it. This includes not even detailing it. The automatic transmission shifts through all the gears including overdrive lockup. There's a button for towing to lock overdrive off. I have driven this F-250 around town with no issues. The A.C. blows nice and cold. I would not hesitate to drive the truck coast to coast if necessary. The body does have all the usual scuffs, dings, scratches and dents, that should be expected on a 16 year old used pickup. The paint appears to be factory original as far as I can tell. The only rust on this truck is surface rust, there is no rust through anywhere. This is actually a very rust free F-250, especially for it's age. The floor boards appear completely rust free. NOTE: This is a used Ford work truck. It is NOT a show truck. I think it would be perfect to hang a snowplow off, Keep to pull a boat or camper with, use for chores around your property, etc., etc.. It would also be PERFECT for Farm and Ranch use. It still has a lot of eyeball appeal. The Air conditioning blows ICE COLD. The paint looks descent other than the usual scratches, etc... Again, there are all the cosmetic blemishes throughout, but nothing completely horrible. There are 24 pictures of the truck that should cover most of the issues. The pictures show some but not all paint/body flaws, (please do NOT show up expecting a show truck). The interior is VERY nice. There are foul no odors of any kind inside. The seat is worn/torn under the seat cover where you slide in and out. The rubber floor mat looks great. There is NO check engine, or any other dash warning lights on. The brakes seem to stop like they should. The underside is about as rust free as it gets. Interior wise, all of the windows roll up and down. The radio works. The horn works, lights all work, heater works, Air conditioning works perfect, 4x4 High and low range works great, shifter is on the floor. From what I can see underneath and on top, it looks all stock. No modifications and the catalytic convertor is in place. As nice as this heavy duty F-250 is, it obviously isn't brand new, and it's definitely not showroom perfect. It's pretty nice, though. Especially for the price, mileage and year. The tires look to be in pretty good condition. The tread is probably a 1/4 inch deep. I would use them up this summer and get some new ones for the winter. The steering doesn't pull, wander, or shimmy. The exhaust system is leak free. All emissions equipment is in place and un-tampered with as far as I can tell. The glass is good. The windshield is BRAND NEW. Turn signals work. all interior lighting works. This truck came with dual fuel tanks from the factory, but the rear tank is gone. I can't imagine why, but it is what it is, and there you have it. The fuel gauge looks to me to be un-reliable. Also, there is a picture that shows a square hole in the bed where a gooseneck flip-over ball once was. Just wanted everyone to be aware of that as well. This is a truck for someone who doesn't mind tinkering around while restoring it. Since I am only human, there's a good chance I've missed some small or even large stuff. Remember, this vehicle has not gone through any type of official inspection other than what I have casually noted here. If there's something specific important to you that hasn't been addressed, please contact me and I'll try and get you an answer. My name is Chris, my cell # is (970) 214-0979.

We have sold Many, Many trucks and S.U.V.'s here on Ebay and have maintained an exceptional feedback rating. Understand we are not trying to hide anything and WANT you to know EXACTLY what it is that you are bidding on. As you can imagine, with any used vehicle, it is nearly impossible to cover every last square inch in detail with this brief listing description. I'm ABSOLUTELY sure the vehicle will need some kind of minor work or maintenance (just like any other used vehicle out there). Please be realistic on your expectations. I personally drive these around for a while and make sure they run and drive descent. Most importantly, they do not leave me stranded!!! We do not perform restorations here. We do attempt to remedy any issues that are obvious. If there is something important to you that has not been covered, PLEASE ASK questions and I will try to get you the answer A.S.A.P. We have maintained an exceptionally good positive feedback rating here on Ebay since 2001. We are not going anywhere, and are in this business for the long haul. PLEASE review the pictures carefully, as they are invaluable to show possible cosmetic things you may want to know about. .........PLEASE feel free to ask questions!
This is a used vehicle being offered by a licensed Colorado dealer. All used vehicles are sold As-Is / No warranty. Any applicable tax, title, and registration costs are not included in the sale price. If you are a resident in the State of Colorado, a Dealer Handling fee of $99 will be added to the final sale price to cover the costs of emissions testing, as well as, the additional paperwork required by the State of Colorado for title purposes. A Free 60 day temporary licence tag is provided if requested. The final bid is the sale price. There will be no set asides, allowances, or haggling after the auctions end. This vehicle is also offered for sale off our lot locally for $2950, so we reserve the right to end the auction early if obviously necessary. We will also end the auction early for the "Buy it Now" button if you would simply wish to purchase this vehicle today rather than by going through the auction process. I believe you will find our prices hard to beat with ANY comparable / year/ condition truck. That doesn't mean this is written in stone and I am not willing to listen to offers. Please contact me at (970) 214-0979 for any questions not already answered on here. For us to end the auction early, it will require an immediate $500 deposit thru Paypal and Full payment thru bank to bank transfer within 24 hours. We can safely store this vehicle for free for up to 3 weeks (or even longer) after full payment has been received.
Who are we and how can we be contacted? We are C&J Auto Sales located at 288 N.Garfield Ave., Loveland Co. 80537. My name is Chris and my wife's name is Jen. We are a small family owned business that has been selling to the public for approx 9+ years. (By small, I mean just my wife and I). We keep our overhead as low as possible. We also purchase most of our reconditioning parts off Ebay to support the community that has supported us so well throughout the years. My wife and I both wholesaled for several years before that, so we are not new to the business. My phone # is (970) 214-0979. I would say the best way to contact me (if you have a specific question about a vehicle) is through Ebay "ask seller a question" , (as I am rarely standing right next to a vehicle that you may be interested in, ready to give an on the spot description). I do check my email often, and will give you an answer back ASAP.
Shipping. All shipping costs and arrangements are the buyer's responsibility. We will gladly assist the shipping company of your choice. I cannot recommend any shippers, so please understand YOU will need to find a shipper. Obviously, the vehicle will not leave our possession until full payment has CLEARED. We can deliver the vehicle to a shipping terminal within 50 miles for an additional fee (to cover time and expenses). Vehicles need to be picked up within 3 weeks of auction end unless previous arrangements have been made. You are more than welcome and encouraged to pick up the vehicle in person, straight off the lot. As a licensed Colorado dealer, we are legally CLOSED on Sundays. (State Law). Please make sure you do not show up for delivery on a Sunday. If you prefer to fly in/ drive home, the airport you would be arriving at would be Denver International Airport (D.I.A.) There is a very convenient shuttle going north into Loveland for only $25. Check outwww.supershuttle.com/en/DENAirportShuttleFortCollins.html IMPORTANT: I will be happy to pick you up from the shuttle drop off point for free here in Loveland,..... BUT..... Please contact me ahead of time to make SURE our schedules don't conflict.
Inspections. I highly encourage inspections on all vehicles offered, either in person, or by a hired professional. This is to satisfy YOU. There are many different companies that specialize in doing nothing but that. They generally charge between $100-$175 and THAT may truly be a bargain to give you piece of mind and any additional info you may need. The vehicle will be made available for inspection by appointment. If you decide to forego the inspection, there really is no reason you should be unhappy about anything after the auction has ended. Most of our vehicles are generally purchased at dealer only auctions for the sole purpose of resale. We sell these vehicles FAR below any dealer retail prices. This gives you room for any additional repairs that you see fit. They have not undergone ANY type of inspections/ or specific tests for ANYTHING. This includes emissions and safety inspections. We cannot guarantee compliance of the vehicle for your state, because every state has different requirements as far as safety and emissions inspections are concerned. Again, YOU ARE BUYING A USED VEHICLE AS-IS/ NO WARRANTY. All descriptions given are a general observation based on very limited contact with the vehicles. Our definition of nice may not be the same as someone else's. It's just a matter of opinion. I will say, however, we have been able to maintain an impressive positive feedback rating here on Ebay which doesn't happen by accident or by trying to swindle people. (Especially when dealing with used vehicles that people sometimes expect to be new). I buy, as well as, sell on Ebay and don't like giving or getting surprises. I do not offer any vehicle on here that I have not personally driven. I also believe the listed vehicle would be sound enough for a cross country trip, based on the limited driving I've given it. Unfortunately, I do not have a crystal ball and cannot predict when something might fail. One thing I've learned for sure in this business .... Anything mechanical can break down at any moment. By choosing to drive any used vehicle cross country, you are taking a significant calculated risk. If you are unsure of that option, shipping may be the best. You should expect to do some type of basic scheduled maintenance or repairs to any USED vehicle listed on here, or for that matter, anywhere. The one thing I can promise you FOR SURE is that ANY used vehicle you buy will need something. In conclusion, it is ULTIMATELY the buyer's responsibility to have fully satisfied themselves as to the overall condition of the vehicle.
Titles: We are a licensed bonded, and insured Colorado motor vehicle dealer. All vehicles that we purchase and offer for resale have a clear Title. (meaning no lienholders). We do NOT knowingly deal in any vehicles with salvage title histories, period. The State of Colorado, along with many other states, automatically exempt the recorded mileage on the title for any vehicle over ten years old, and over 100,000 miles. Therefore, on these vehicles, the titles will simply be "exempted miles" and have a "0" indicated for odometer reading. That does not mean the mileage is unknown, or that it has been tampered with, it simply means they (The State), are no longer keeping track of the mileage. We also occasionally need to title these vehicles in our business' name if they are from out of state and do not have room for any further reassignments. This may take up to 30 days, and we have no control over that, as we are at the States mercy . The bottom line is: you will receive a transferrable title to the vehicle either at the time of purchase or usually within 30 days by mail. We have never run into any instance where we could not eventually get a title for our customer.
***Please keep in mind that mileage may increase slightly from local customers inspecting and taking test drives.
***By winning auction/ purchasing this vehicle from C&J Auto Sales, the parties of this transaction agree that all legal proceedings regarding, or in any way related to this transaction, shall only be filed in Loveland, Larimer County, Colorado, and no place else.
***Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end. All non-paying high bidders will be reported to Ebay and negative feedback will be posted.
***Preparing, listing, and managing these online auctions costs real time and money. Please have all your financing in place before bidding.
***We are selling the above stated vehicle outright. We are not offering financing or accepting any trades on this vehicle.
***Please do not contact me concerning reserves on vehicles listed. Figure out what the vehicle is worth to you, and bid up to that amount.
***These auctions are a significant part of our family's livelihood and we rely on it's results to make ends meet. For that reason, the auction is taken VERY Seriously. Please make sure you don't have any reasons that would prevent you from following through on the transaction. This includes the required deposit, which is due within 24 hours of auctions end. The complete remaining balance is due within 3 days of the auctions end.
***You MUST be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid USA drivers license to purchase this vehicle. We CANNOT sell a vehicle without a valid drivers license.
***If you are new to Ebay and have less than 5 previous transactions completed, or have less than a 95% positive feedback rating, you MUST contact me before placing a bid. Please don't take this the wrong way, I realize everyone starts out here on Ebay as a Zero feedback member. I would love to talk to you in person if you have any questions about bidding on/ buying our vehicle. Please feel free to contact me if you are truly interested in purchasing. This ensures that I am dealing with a serious bidder/buyer and keeps the auction fair for everyone involved. Thank you for understanding, bid often, and best of luck!

Ford applies to trademark term 'Lincoln eGlide'
Thu, Apr 30 2020There's an epilogue to Ford's recent announcement that it's giving up on a battery-electric Lincoln co-developed with Rivian. The MachEClub forum discovered that just a week ago, Ford applied with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to trademark the term "Lincoln eGlide." The goods and services category details use for "Motor vehicles, namely, passenger automobiles, sport utility vehicles, electric vehicles and structural parts and fittings; electric vehicles, namely, passenger automobiles, sport utility vehicles, and structural parts and fittings." Living in an age where a small "e" is shorthand for "electric," and Ford having specified electric vehicles in the patent, the go-to guess is that this is for an electric vehicle. The inclusion of non-electric motor vehicles injects a little fuzziness. Tesla's trademark on the Model S specifies "electric automobiles" only, whereas Rivian's trademark for the R1T seeks coverage for "land vehicles" and just about every part found in or on a land vehicle. Since Ford must have known about the end of the Rivian effort when it applied for the trademark, we suppose Lincoln has got some kind of eGlide coming no matter what. Lincoln refers to the theme of its latest cabin designs, as in the Aviator and Corsair, "Quiet Flight," and the road-scanning adaptive suspension on the Lincoln Aviator is called "Air Glide," neither term being trademarked. This leads our suspicions to eGlide becoming a vehicle component that could potentially serve a model with any powertrain, not necessarily battery-electric only, and eGlide won't be the name of the Lincoln EV that Ford says is still on the way. Another clue is that Ford included the word "Lincoln" in the term. Trademarked vehicle names such as Aviator and Corsair don't include the make, but services for vehicles do, such as the trademarks for Lincoln Connect and Lincoln Co-Pilot 360. We'll admit that a little bit of hope informs this line of thinking as well. Ford having done Lincoln the fabulous service of giving Lincolns terrific names, we'd be aghast if the Corsair and Navigator had to share showroom space with an eGlide. We've no choice but to wait for a retail product to provide answers. In the meantime, if we could just get to the bottom of this "Fastor Charge" trademark, and what's this bit about "Vandemonium?" Ford Mustang returning to Australia in 2016
Mon, 15 Jul 2013Australia's Herald Sun newspaper has reported that the next-generation Ford Mustang is heading Down Under in 2016, just as Ford is hanging the "Closed for Good" sign on its Australian manufacturing operations and sending the Falcon to its grave. Ford hasn't offered any official word on the matter, but the paper says that Ford's global VP of sales and marketing, Jim Farley, is flying to Australia to make the announcement himself.
While Ford converted Mustangs in the early 2000s from left-hand to right-hand drive for the Australian market and then sold them at high prices, it's been almost five decades since Ford imported a dedicated right-hand-drive Mustang to Oz. The arrival of the global model specifically made for places like Australia and the UK means Ford will also be able to offer them at better prices than the converted models; the Herald Sun says the price is expected to be "close to $50,000."
And that's for one of the "V8 performance models," which are the only ones Australia will get; Ford apparently won't send the turbocharged four cylinder or the V6. The Aussies could find out in a month from now whether this rumor is true. We will all find out what this Mustang fuss is about when the car debuts at next year's New York Auto Show.
2015 Ford Focus sedan shows its fresh face in New York
Wed, 16 Apr 2014That handsome fellow you see above is the 2015 Ford Focus sedan. We liked the looks of the 2014 Focus, and the updates for 2015 only improve things to our eyes, with the adoption of the Aston Martin-inspired grille that has been permeating Ford's lineup these last few years. Sweeping, slightly bulbous headlamps join a revised, more demure lower grille opening to round out the styling updates up front. The rest of the car's look is just slightly massaged, including new taillamp clusters that look much like they did last year.
New for 2015 is the availability of Ford's 1.0-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost engine, mated exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission. There's also a new SE Sport Package that adds more aggressive suspension tuning, paddle shifters (when equipped with Ford's six-speed dual-clutch automatic) and a few body kit bits and pieces. Rounding out the mechanical changes are an updated electronic steering rack that promises better feel, suspension tweaks to make the ride more comfortable and some software updates designed to make the dual-clutch gearbox better behave itself.
In addition, inside there are a few interior upgrades, as well as some added comfort and safety tech that includes available blind-spot detection and lane-keeping assist, along with other more incremental changes that all add up to a better vehicle. We suggest you check out the official press release below for all the details, but not before scrolling through our image gallery of live shots above.
