1978 Ford F-250 4x4 Supercab Ranger. This is an original old truck, It can be used as a daily driver or can easily be restored. I found this truck sitting on a farm in Eastern Wa. and was going to restore, but then found an old suburban that would better suit the familys needs. It has a 400 V8, 4 speed manual, Dana 60 front axle and 70 rear. The truck runs and drives good. It has a new battery and rebuilt carb. Drives very straight. The A/C appears to be complete but does not work. The windshield is cracked, the rest of the glass is good. Also the auxiliary tank does not work but is complete as well. It has a 5th wheel hitch in the bed. It has very minimal rust for the year! I removed the floor mat so you can see. The drivers side floor pan has only surface rust so is good to go. The passenger side floor board does have a couple holes and should be patched. Their is also a spot behind the rear quarter lower panel that needs patched as you can see in the pics. It has small dings and such in the body. The tailgate has been replaced at one point but isnt a perfect one. Has some dings and dents in the bed. A couple of the stake pockets need some love. This is a very good original rare truck but needs restored to be really nice, or drive it as is. Winning bidder must place a $500 non refundable paypal deposit within 12 hrs of auction close. The remainder must be payed in 7 days from close of auction.Truck must be picked up within 14 days unless arranged otherwise. Ford of India in hot water for Figo celebrity bondage ads

Apparently sensibilities in India, at least in the case of some Ford marketing partners, are downright lascivious at times. Case in point are a new series of print ads, presumably touting the vast cargo capacity of the Ford Figo hatchback, that involve more than a whiff of T&A, S&M and other sexy abbreviations.
In all seriousness, the advertising campaign is taking some major heat in the Indian press for being outrageously sexist. All three images - which seem to be produced by a graphic artist with some Heavy Metal work in his/her portfolio - show bound and gagged people stuffed into the Figo's boot. With a tagline reads, "Leave Your Worries Behind." one version features a peace-sign throwing Silvio Berlusconi holding hostage three buxom and barely clad women, all wearing ball gags with hands and feet bound. Charming. Another version shows Paris Hilton similarly kidnapping a trio of Kardashians, while a third (tame in terms of the clothing at least), has Michael Schumacher toting Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso, and Lewis Hamilton.
Clearly in bad taste, at least, the Indian source also questions the timing of these risqué Ford ads, as the follow by days new anti-rape legislation passed by the Indian Parliament. Ford has responded in a statement, that it and its advertising partner (JWT India) "deeply regret" the ads, and claim that they "never should have happened."

Gymkhana king Ken Block has had a pretty simple car history in his trademark videos, starting out with Subaru Impreza rally cars before moving into Ford Focus racers for the past four installments. His next video, though, Gymkhana Seven, kind of goes back in time.
Rather than the cutting-edge rally racers of past videos, Block will pilot a heavily modified 1965 Ford Mustang, called the Hoonicorn. How heavily modified is it? Well, Block's Hooligan Racing Division, ASD Motorsports and Vaughn Gittin Jr.'s RTR, spent two years working on it, ditching the standard engine and rear-wheel-drive layout and replacing it with a 410-cubic-inch Roush Yates V8. Yes, that's a NASCAR engine, and it produces 845 horsepower.
A NASCAR-powered Mustang would be news in itself, but it's the other powertrain changes made by Block and Co. that really makes headlines. Power is channeled through a one-off Sadev transmission and all-wheel-drive system, meaning that Block has basically married a NASCAR stock car with a WRC racer. ASD also developed the customized suspension, tubular chassis and roll cage. The wide Mustang body is the work of RTR and Block's own Hoonigan Racing Division, while the 18-inch fifteen52 wheels are shod in Pirelli Trofeo R tires that use a specialized compound exclusive to Block.
