For sale we have a 2008 Ford F-250 4x4 King Ranch Crew Cab 6.4L Powerstroke Turbo DIESEL. This beautiful King Ranch was just traded in at the Ford Dealer in Orlando Florida. I personally flew in Florida and hand picked this beautiful looking King Ranch. The truck looks and runs like new. It is an 08 F-250 4x4 featuring the 6.4L Twin Turbo Powerstroke Turbo DIESEL engine. The motor starts right up each time with ease and no issues. The motor is quiet and runs smooth like it should with plenty of power and torque to move just about anything on your way. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly as it should thru out all the gears with no issues and no delays. The 4x4 engages in and out as it should with no problems. The outside body of the truck is super clean with no dings or dents. The truck is sitting on some very expensive after market wheels with nice tires which have plenty of tread left on them. The truck has a small lift kit which has been done properly and it handles very nice down the road. The interior of the truck is fully loaded. It has the King Ranch trim so it has all the options inside. The leather seats are like new with no rips on them. The under carriage of this truck is bone dry and the frame is rock solid with no rust and no rot anywhere. This is a Florida truck and it has never seen snow its entire life. I drove the truck for over 1,200 miles with no issues. Fly down and drive this beautiful truck back home with no problems at all! Additional Information about Ford F-250 Super Duty 2008 King Ranch

2015 Ford F-150 to get 2.7-liter EcoBoost?
Mon, 30 Dec 2013As we prepare for the arrival of the all-new, next-generation Ford F-150, rumors about the new truck are picking up steam. Naturally, many of said rumors aren't just related to the way the truck will look (it's expected to take design cues from the Atlas concept shown above), they're tied to what's going to motivate the Blue Oval mainstay, with Ford's EcoBoost range likely to play an increasingly key role. While we're still expecting the current 3.5-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 to retain its position as a premium alternative to Ford's naturally aspirated V6 and V8, a Canadian automotive news site is proposing that the Dearborn automaker is also preparing a new, more fuel-efficient downsized EcoBoost option.
Autos.ca is reporting that a new, 2.7-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 could find its way into the lighter, aluminum-intensive truck. The new engine supposedly makes use of asymmetrical turbos to generate 320 horsepower and 370 pound-feet of torque - substantially more impressive numbers than the current 3.7-liter base engine's 302 ponies and 278 lb-ft - while offering improved fuel economy and emissions. The new 2.7 EcoBoost (internally dubbed "Nano") isn't expected to supplant the naturally aspirated V6 as the F-150's base engine, it's expected to slot in above directly it.
Naturally, we're prescribing more than a few grains of salt to go with these rumors, at least until Ford debuts the next F-150 at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, a reveal we'll be covering in a mere two weeks.
Ford tells Congress it collects and protects some driver data
Fri, 14 Feb 2014Last month Ford's Jim Farley made waves at the CES when it was reported he told show attendees, "We have GPS in your car, so we know what you're doing. By the way, we don't supply that data to anyone." Farley and Ford later partially retracted and clarified that statement.
Spurred by a desire for further transparency on data collection policies, Ford representatives answered questions from Congress, specifically Senator Al Franken (D-Minn.), about driver privacy.
The Detroit News reports that Ford told Congress it does collect some vehicle location data in an effort to "troubleshoot and improve our products" on behalf of the driver. Ford went on to say that it only collects limited data after receiving permission from owners.
Ford using robot drivers to test durability [w/video]
Sun, 16 Jun 2013In testing the durability of its upcoming fullsize Transit vans, Ford has begun using autonomous robotic technology to pilot vehicles through the punishing courses of its Michigan Proving Grounds test facility. The autonomous tech allows Ford to run more durability tests in a single day than it could with human drivers, as well as create even more challenging tests that wouldn't be safe to run with a human behind the wheel.
The technology being used was developed by Utah-based Autonomous Solutions, and isn't quite like the totally autonomous vehicles being developed by companies like Google and Audi for use out in the real world. Rather, Ford's autonomous test vehicles follow a pre-programmed course and their position is tracked via GPS and cameras that are being monitored from a central control room. Though the route is predetermined, the robotic control module operates the steering, acceleration and braking to keep the vehicle on course as it drives over broken concrete, cobblestones, metal grates, rough gravel, mud pits and oversize speed bumps.
Scroll down to watch the robotic drivers in action, though be warned that you're headed for disappointment if you expect to see a Centurion behind the wheel (nerd alert!). The setup looks more like a Mythbusters experiment than a scene from Battlestar Galactica.
