Ford centennial addition lariat 6.0 powerstroke crew cab short bed 4x4!  Bought this truck with rebuilt title from a dealer and it had around 50,000 miles.   My wife and I have put another 50,000 miles on this truck.  When we bought it I put edge perfomance programmer, rims, 4" exhaust from turbo, egr delete, ball joints, bushings, shocks, overload leaf springs, turbo module, tinted windows, cool air intake, and air dog fuel pump.  We have put new injectors at around 80,000 miles.  New glow plugs and brakes/rotors at 98,000 miles.  The air dog was removed and stock pump put back in but unit will come with truck if you want to put it back in.  Tires are at around 80 percent left on front and 20 percent left on back.  Paint is worn and I have waxed many times but needs work.  Sticky advertisment logos were stuck on sides and I gave up trying to get it off, I'm sure it can be removed.  Interior is is in good condition. The truck was used for business towing.  It has not been hot rodded, four wheeled or been pushed passed 1200 egt degrees on the programmer.   We have hauled with it and used it.  A little play in steering like all fords.  Cold AC and heated seats! We have our own mechanic and maintenance has been kept up frequently. The only reason we are selling is to buy a dually instead otherwise we would keep it.  Thanks and happy bidding!

Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang is a lean, mean, Z/28-fighting machine [w/video]

Mon, 17 Nov 2014

If there's one thing you can count on, it's that the renewed rivalry between the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro will never, ever cease. For every version of Ford's pony car, there's an equally potent Chevrolet. And so with the debut of the Camaro Z/28 earlier this year, Ford has responded with a track-focused 'Stang of its own, resurrecting the Shelby GT350 name.
It looks to be a fine piece of work, this Mustang, with power coming from a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V8 that will produce "more than 500 horsepower" and "above 400" pound-feet of torque. That grunt runs to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission, and a Torsen limited-slip differential keeps everything in line.
But that's hardly the most impressive piece of the GT350 puzzle. Ford has increased the Mustang GT's chassis stiffness for duty here in the Shelby, and the coupe employs MagneRide damping which automatically adjusts based on road conditions and driver inputs. It's a first both for the Blue Oval and for the segment. And speaking of firsts, the GT350 uses a flat-plane crankshaft - something Ford has never included in a production V8 before.

The List #0178: Attend Rally School

Tue, Apr 7 2015

Jessi and Patrick attend Team O'Neil Rally School in Dalton, NH, to learn how to shred in the snow. Veteran instructor and school founder Tim O'Neil demonstrates left-foot braking, slalom techniques, turning, proper ways to blip the throttle and more in this episode. They get behind the wheel of modern Ford Fiestas with front-wheel drive and a vintage Audi Quattro with all-wheel drive. They catch on quickly, and O'Neil tells Patrick: "Tell your grandchildren you are a rally driver." Watch as our hosts check "attend rally school" off their list. Have an RSS feed? Watch how a Ford Raptor rolls down the assembly line in Dearborn

Sun, 30 Mar 2014

Bloomberg TV reporter Matt Miller is the proud new owner of a pretty killer truck. How do we know? The reporter headed to Dearborn, MI to Ford's assembly plant, with a film crew in tow, to see exactly how his new F-150 SVT Raptor and its mother-loving 6.2-liter V8 engine, was screwed together.
The resulting video does an excellent job of summing up how an assemblage of parts and pieces is turned into a triple-black Raptor, thanks to the work of some 1,000 employees and about 20 hours of real time. Click through below to see how the truck is born, with a surprise cameo playing the part of delivery driver at the end.
