2002 Ford F250 Crew Cab Lariat 4X4 7.3L PowerStroke Diesel

Only 130,500 miles!
-Southern truck with no rust, very clean interior, engine bay, undercarriage and bed.
Dark green with tan leather.

-All the leather inside is in very good shape, including the driver seat and top of steering wheel.  Carpet is clean with no tears or stains.
Exterior was previously painted, the whole truck. There are some scrapes and a small dent on top of the roof(probably from a parking garage), nothing major. One small dent on hood. See pics.

-Power seats/mirrors/locks/windows.  Factory clearance lights, 12000 lb trailer hitch, rear Ford mud flaps, tinted windows, bed liner, Ford step bars.
BFG All Terrain tires, 285/75/15, including the spare.

-This truck has an aftermarket 4" exhaust with muffler, not loud.  No other aftermarket items on engine like intake or tuner.
This truck cranks strong, runs, shifts and drives great.  Leaks a few drops of oil underneath, not much.  At full steering lock to the left, there is a knocking noise , which I think means it will need ball joints, fairly common on these trucks at this age.  No warning lights or check engine lights.

-No fifth wheel attachment under the bedliner, this truck hasnt been worked hard.

-I have a few service records from the previous owner, all at Ford dealerships, for regular maintenance items.
Books and manuals including 7.3L supplement and service book with dealer stamps up to 35k.

-All in all this is a great low mileage 7.3 in the right configuration with all the right options!

I am a licensed dealer, SC residents pay tax, tag and title.  I would like to see this truck auction to the highest bidder, but I have the right to sell it before the auction ends.
Please have your funds in order prior to bidding; if you dont have cash, know that getting financed on a vehicle over ten years old can be difficult.  I do not provide financing.

This is an awesome truck, bid to win!  Check out my website at motoradellc.com.
Thanks!

On Sep-13-13 at 09:39:40 PDT, seller added the following information:

-I realized I forgot to post any pictures of the engine bay.  It is very clean and factory with a dry valley, (no leaky fuel bowl or HPOP).  Ford Motorcraft batteries.

-Service documents show oil changes, filter changes, new belt, batteries, coolant flush, brakes and recalls.
-The button mounted below the dash to the left is an auxiliary horn.  Not a train horn, and not even that loud, but just another horn.  Factory horn works also. ??

Ford, Samsung shack up to bring regen braking to non-hybrid models [w/video]

Mon, 09 Jun 2014

Ford must be desperate to get itself ready for the beach this summer because it is really trying to get into shape. Shortly after unveiling the Lightweight Concept that cut the weight of a Fusion down to that of a Fiesta, it's now the rest of the line's turn for improvement. The company is wrapping up a 10-year research project aimed at developing next-gen automotive batteries to improve efficiency.
Ford claims that 70 percent of its lineup will have stop/start tech by 2017. The key to this massive proliferation is its new dual-battery system that combines a lithium-ion battery with a lead-acid one and regenerative braking. The setup works by harvesting braking energy and converting it to electricity. When the vehicle stops, the engine shuts off, but the Li-ion battery has enough juice to keep the accessories running. The engine starts up again as drivers take their foot off the brake. The layout would mean less wasted gas while idling. It's already available on Ford hybrids and is somewhat similar to the i-Eloop capacitor-based system from Mazda.
The bigger challenge is tuning the regenerative braking right. While hybrid drivers may be a little more adventurous, when it comes to getting a hang of regen braking, conventional buyers might not be so open-minded. The systems have a tendency to be a little grabby at first and then taper off at very low speeds. Ford needs to make sure it's just right to avoid turning off buyers.

Ford supports bid for Detroit Rallycross race with Motown-minded Fiesta ST vid

Mon, 01 Jul 2013

As Ford continues its cheerleading effort to help bring the 2014 Summer X Games to its hometown of Detroit, MI, it has released footage of its 2014 Fiesta ST Rallycross car on location at some of the city's well-known landmarks. This video appears to have been shot around the same time as the previous X Games Detroit video was made, but it focuses 100-percent on rally car action.
With Ford Racing driver Andreas Eriksson behind the wheel, this Fiesta ST lays down some serious rubber atop Detroit's Cobo Hall parking structure, at Belle Isle and around the Michigan Central Depot. Detroit isn't alone in the bid for a three-year X Games contract as Chicago, Austin and Charlotte are also hoping to play host. The winning host city is expected to be announced this summer. Scroll down for Ford's two-minute video showing the Fiesta ST Rallycrossing through the Motor City.

Automakers donating money, vehicles and supplies to Oklahoma tornado relief effort

Fri, 24 May 2013

Judging by the destruction the Oklahoma City area experienced earlier this week, residents are going to need a lot of help in coming months. Fortunately, a number of automakers - including General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Honda and Toyota - have stepped up to donate money, supplies and vehicles to aid in the recovery and rebuilding processes.
Here's a quick rundown of which automakers have pitched in and what each contributed so far:
Ford Motor Company has donating $250,000 and a Transit Connect to the American Red Cross, and it will match all other donations made to the Red Cross (up to $250,000) using a special URL tied to the latter's website (link here). Additionally, its local Oklahoma dealers have thrown in an extra $150,000 for the United Way and the automaker will be offering an extra $500 toward the purchase of a new Ford vehicle.
