2013 FORD F250 Super Duty Platinum Edition 4X4, 12,770 miles, mint condition inside and out. Tuxedo Black Metallic with black leather interior. This truck is absolutely one of the sharpest trucks around, I always keep it shined up and I have got a ton of compliments from others. The metallic paint really stands out and looks awesome. Has 6" Rough Country lift kit, new springs and rear lift, added Fox Shocks. I have the factory suspension and shocks boxed up and will go with the sale. Tires are 295/65/20 Nitto Trail Grappler and rims are Gear Alloy Nitro. I have the original rims and tires with 400 miles on them, they are not part of the auction but can be purchased by buyer if an agreement on price can be reached(unless you use Buy It Now, see below for details) As you can see from the window sticker, this truck was loaded with every option, off the lot it has over $10,000 in options. Additionally, I had the dealership install an engine block heater and also install the headrest DVD players in the back. They ordered the DVD players from the factory with a remote and a set of headphones, these are not the cheap add on players. The upgrades for the block heater and DVD Players were an additional $2600, the suspension and rims/tires were an additional $4600. Includes all factory manuals, window sticker, navigation disk, etc. I am selling because I bought an all wheel drive BMW and another truck from Texas. Once purchased, the buyer has to send a deposit of $500 through Paypal. Deposit is non refundable if you cannot get financing or obtain funds to complete the purchase. Only serious buyers please. If you wish to come inspect the vehicle you may do so at any time. Any questions please ask. Thank you. **If buyer chooses Buy It Now, I will add the factory rims and tires to the sale of the truck. They are 20 inch polished aluminum with black powder coated insets. The tires are Michelin LTX A/T 2 in a 275/65/20. Please see below for a picture. Factory options (please see the window sticker for the complete list): 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel Navigation System Microsoft SYNC Touchscreen Navigation/Bluetooth System Heated/Cooled seats front and back WeatherTech Floor Mats front and back 3.55 Electronic Locking Diff Hill Start Assist Remote Start Sony Premium Audio System Adjustable Pedals Heated Steering wheel Trailer Sway Control Trailer Tow Package Integrated Brake Controller Heavy Duty Service Suspension Upfitter Switches Cab Lights FX-4 OffRoad Package Power Rear Sliding Window w/ privacy glass Sunroof Rapid Heat Supplemental Cab Heater(works great in cold weather, turn on the heater and get instant heat until the diesel warms up) |

Couple fined for parking Ford F-150 in their own driveway
Tue, Jan 20 2015A homeowners' association in New York is suing two of its residents for parking their pickup truck in their own driveway. David and Arna Orlando of Manlius, NY, are facing a lawsuit from the Kimry Moor Homeowners Association for parking their black 2014 Ford F-150 pickup in their own driveway. The Orlandos own their home, but common areas such as their driveway are managed by their HOA, which limits what vehicles can park in the open. They only allow "private, passenger-type, pleasure automobiles" to park outside of a garage. David Orlando says his pickup is a personal passenger vehicle and that the rule is silly. He also feels he is being unfairly targeted. A Syracuse.com reporter drove around the Orlandos' neighborhood and saw another fullsize pickup parked in another driveway, along with a large van and SUV. The Orlandos said in court documents that the pickup is registered as a private vehicle and neither of them have commercial drivers' licenses. The lawsuit was filed in August 2013 and is still in the discovery phase. Depositions are up next. New York seems to have gone power-mad when it comes to regulating common driveway activities. In a Garden City, NY, neighborhood last year police were called when two men began washing a new Volkswagen "in public view", which was against a local ordinance. 2014 Ford Mustang GT
Fri, 17 May 2013I was more than a year removed from my last experience with the Mustang GT and its delicious 5.0 V8 when this new 2014 example rolled up to my driveway recently. Good weather and a planned road trip across the state meant that I would get plenty of seat time in this conservatively specified example, too. In total, I logged about 400 miles in a week of driving - not a lot for some of you super commuters out there, but quite a lot for this work-from-home journalist.
The basic formula of the 5.0 has stayed the same for 2014. The 2013 model year saw a number of updates to keep the Mustang fresh until it's replaced with an all-new generation for 2015. So, for its bon voyage tour, the fifth-generation Pony Car has seen only a few modifications: a couple of new paint colors (Oxford White and Ruby Read Metallic), trim and wheel revisions and, sadly, the deletion of the Boss 302 from the Ford lineup. However, while the limited-edition Boss is likely to reappear sometime after the gen-six Mustang makes its debut in 2015, the GT Track Package cars like the one I tested provide at least a partial solution for those looking for hot laps.

2015 Ford Mustang potentially 'leaked' by Car and Driver
Mon, 28 Oct 2013Few upcoming debuts have been as eagerly anticipated as the all-new Ford Mustang that's expected to debut shortly as the Mustang's 50th anniversary year approaches. Well, Car and Driver magazine would have us wait no longer as it claims to be leaking Ford's new global pony car early.
Of course what you're looking at is just as likely to be a composite rendering based on what C/D projects the new Mustang to look like, but to our eyes it looks spot on. Combining design traits from the Evos Concept with classic Mustang signatures and Ford's Aston-inspired grille treatment, C/D's images - including a complete 360-degree digital navigator - show a Mustang not only for the modern era, but also for global distribution, taking a quintessentially American car to markets its predecessors were never designed for.
Those global considerations are expected to spell the demise of the outgoing Mustang's holdout live rear axle in favor of an independent suspension, and a slight constricting of the exterior dimensions. And thanks to a separate leak, coming from a digital survey, we have apparent confirmation of what will power the new pony car. While the existing 3.7-liter V6 and 5.0-liter V8 engines will apparently carry over with only slight adjustments in output, the survey confirms a new 2.4-liter turbo four will be positioned in between them, offering slightly more power than the V6 but markedly improved fuel economy for a manageable $560 premium over base.
