2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty Xl Standard Cab Pickup 2-door 5.4l on 2040-cars
State College, Pennsylvania, United States
If you’re looking for a
truck, you don’t want to miss this one.
2008 Ford F-250 two wheel drive with only 38,050 miles.
Let’s mention that again…..38,050 miles! The owner was an older
gentleman who rarely drove it and recently passed away. The truck was treated well – please refer to
the pictures for details. The bed has a
few scuffs and there is a scratch on the tailgate, but those are the only
blemishes. The interior is in terrific
shape. He always kept seat covers on the
seat and mats on the floor. Westin running boards are both functional and add to the look of the truck. The truck has a current PA
inspection sticker. It runs perfectly,
as you would expect from a 38,050 mile truck.
Look around – you won’t find anything like it anywhere. Most F-250s are used hard and run into the
ground. Here’s your chance to own a
great truck at a great price. Bid with confidence. We take pride in our feedback and work to
make sure every customer is completely satisfied. We’ve sold cars, trucks, motorcycles and
motor homes with prices as high as $55,000. Please feel free to contact
us with any questions. Thanks, and good
luck bidding! |

Watch how Ken Block spent his weekend in Barbados
Thu, 22 May 2014Regardless of what you think of his skill as a racer, Ken Block is an expert showman. At this point, he has a career of showing up around the world to do vehicular stunts, and he's still able to go racing as well. It's a pretty sweet niche to carve out. Recently, Block was in Barbados to participate in Top Gear Live and the first event of the Global Rallycross Championship season, and Ford Racing produced a short video to show off his exploits.
It looked like a great show. Block got to race Lewis Hamilton in a Mercedes-Benz Formula One car and had a very weird crash during a Rallycross race that put his Ford Fiesta on its roof. Top Gear also released an extended look at Block and Hamilton's spectacle with the two of them expertly sliding around. Scroll down to watch the videos and get a taste of Block's tropical racing adventure.
Ford using robot drivers to test durability [w/video]
Sun, 16 Jun 2013In testing the durability of its upcoming fullsize Transit vans, Ford has begun using autonomous robotic technology to pilot vehicles through the punishing courses of its Michigan Proving Grounds test facility. The autonomous tech allows Ford to run more durability tests in a single day than it could with human drivers, as well as create even more challenging tests that wouldn't be safe to run with a human behind the wheel.
The technology being used was developed by Utah-based Autonomous Solutions, and isn't quite like the totally autonomous vehicles being developed by companies like Google and Audi for use out in the real world. Rather, Ford's autonomous test vehicles follow a pre-programmed course and their position is tracked via GPS and cameras that are being monitored from a central control room. Though the route is predetermined, the robotic control module operates the steering, acceleration and braking to keep the vehicle on course as it drives over broken concrete, cobblestones, metal grates, rough gravel, mud pits and oversize speed bumps.
Scroll down to watch the robotic drivers in action, though be warned that you're headed for disappointment if you expect to see a Centurion behind the wheel (nerd alert!). The setup looks more like a Mythbusters experiment than a scene from Battlestar Galactica.
Which is more fuel efficient, driving with a pickup's tailgate up or down?
Tue, 26 Aug 2014
Thanks to the smoke wand in the wind tunnel, you can actually see the difference in our video.
Should you drive with your pickup truck's tailgate up or down? It's an age-old controversy that's divided drivers for decades. Traditionalists will swear you should leave the tailgate down. Makes sense, right? It would seem to let the air flow more cleanly over the body and through the bed. But there's also a school of thought that argues trucks are designed to look and operate in a specific manner, and modern design techniques can help channel the airflow properly. So don't mess with all of that: Leave the tailgate up.
