2008 Ford F-250 on 2040-cars
Waterflow, New Mexico, United States
Just email me at: kinaquraishi@netzero.net .
Selling an absolutely beautiful 2-owner 2008 f250 105 year Harley Davidson Anniversary Edition 4x4 with the 6.4
powerstroke diesel with over $30,000 in upgrades, on top of the nearly $20,000 in options as ordered from factory.
Has everything - moon roof, heated seats, supplemental heat, electric rear window, upfitter switches, upgraded
alternators, tow hitch and tow command, electronic adjustable pedals, lighted running boards, electric telescoping
tow mirrors, etc etc. Black leather and bronze two-toned factory interior, with chrome Harley badges proudly
displayed on fenders, tailgate, wheels, center console, floor mats, and every seat! I purchased truck bone stock as
a fully-loaded 1-owner vehicle at 91k miles. I upgraded everything in small steps since purchased to make the
1-off beauty it is today. Truck resides in New Mexico and has never seen salt.
A few of the most significant drivetrain mods below :
Elite Diesel 75/59 vgt turbos
EGR Delete (No DPF fluid required on this truck either)
Full MBRP 4” stainless exhaust (single 5” stainless tip)
ARP Headstuds/ new FORD gaskets. Heads were magnafluxed, ported, and decked flat before install
Airdog II fuel system
Replaced HPFP/8 new FoMoCo injectors/all new fuel lines (known weak point of 6.4's , replaced it all at 120k).
RCD chromoly pushrods/rockers and upgraded valve springs
RCD stainless up-pipes
RCD stainless exhaust manifolds (custom fabbed 304ss, not repurposed 6.0 units)
RCD ported fuel rails
No Limit Crankcase vent relocation kit
No Limit intake and filter assembly (K&N,AFE/S&B have nothing on this bad boy...required to satisfy 75/59 airflow
requirements)
No Limit stainless intercooler pipes with bungs for water/meth injection or additional monitoring.
SCT with No-Limit tuning, spartan dashdaq used for constant monitoring of gauges.
-Spartan still has original tunes, plus all RCD tunes up to 575. New owner could sell after purchase if you
wanted different gauges. I just unmarried Spartan and kept it for gauges instead of spending more on Edge CTS to do
the same thing.
Transmission was completely built with billet input/output shafts, upgraded forks and clutches
RCD billet torque converter
More things I'm forgetting, but this is most of the bigger upgrades. As I mentioned, done in small steps over the
years, without abusing or overpowering anything. EGR delete/exhaust/Spartan tuner/AFE intake was 1st, then upper
engine upgrades (installed a RCD 71mm atmo at the the time), then transmission, fuel, and finally the larger turbos
and the custom plumbing to satisfy monster turbos. Transmission has about 6k miles since rebuild, new turbos less
than 2k. Mechanically the truck is nearly new, with no issues. Brakes work great, steering is tight and straight.
A/C ice cold.
Replaced both batteries with new gel units in past 6 months. Quality 50" dual row light bar with SoCal super
trucks mount. Spots in center, flood lights on outside. Way too bright for road use, but lights up a boat dock or
campground at night! Meticulously maintained with Rotella t6 every 3k since I purchased, fuel filters every other
oil change and airdog 2 drained every week. 95+% 20” Cooper tires. 5% Window tint on everything but windshield.
Kenwood touchscreen DVD player with Garmin navigation. Had Line-x platinum bed-liner sprayed week I purchased.
Pictures accurately depict beauty and condition of this truck. I’ve tried to include high-quality photos from all
angles so you can zoom in on any part of the truck and inspect, no surprises here. Have more pictures I couldn't
upload, please contact me if you'd like additional pictures, or a walk-around video. At 8 years old, there’s a
few minor scuffs/scratches on interior/exterior as to be expected but nothing major, and this baby gets compliments
every single time it’s driven. The largest cosmetic fault that warrants mention is a small tear in the drivers
seat, approximately 1” on the seam where you enter and exit. It’s been that way since I purchased 30k + miles
ago and hasn’t grown, but I kept a seat cover on majority of the time. Lumbar support knob is off in pictures,
forgot to reinstall after removing seat cover, will be on at time of sale. Broke a clip on tailgate moulding, new
one is on order and will be installed before sale. All steering wheel controls work with the upgraded Kenwood
stereo. Weathertech formed floor mats keep carpet clean. I also have the factory carpet Harley floormats out of the
truck. Original owners manual/window sticker will be included. Two factory Harley keys, as well as keyless entry
door code.
Bought a new Platinum F250, and the Harley truck keeps getting upgrades, driven a few hundred miles, and stuck back
in storage. Truck was built to tow and EGT’s stay LOW with the monster turbos and plumbing, perfect tow rig for
your Harley trailer or toyhauler loaded down with friends and bikes on the way to Sturgis! Never had a 5th
wheel/gooseneck hitch installed. Love the truck, but I'm out of things to tinker with on it and it just doesn't get
driven enough to justify paying storage on it for the few thousand miles it’s been driven past few years (garage
is full).
Must be able to satisfactorily prove ability to pay for this truck before test drives will be entertained. I will
give rides to anyone interested, but you must have cash in hand or bank on the line before I’m handing over the
keys. This truck is far from stock, and throttle response and power can take inexperienced drivers by surprise into
dangerous territory quick until your used to the vehicle. For example, shortly after installing new 75/59 turbos,
hit a 2 block stretch of highway where speed is reduced to 45, before going back to 60 mph. I tapped brakes coming
into town, coasted 2 blocks, and just tapped “resume” on cruise control with foot off accelerator to get back
to 60 mph. The truck spooled up and broke loose on dry pavement @ 45 mph without touching accelerator. That was on
“hot street”. I’ve never loaded the full on race tune. Also have a custom tow tune built for this trucks
upgrades on SCT. Truck is a lot more contained on regular “street” without any excess smoke (where it’s
stayed since above excitement) but it’s still night and day difference to any slightly modified diesel. Too much
invested in this truck to let someone wrap it around a tree or hit ditches before payment is received. My
apologies, but this truck is a collector’s investment and has been looked at that way since purchase. It
wouldn’t be wise on my end to give keys to every kid who wants to see if it will outrun his buddies
duramax/cummins/vette/etc and wreck my investment. Im sure it will, you buy it, you can race it if that’s your
thing. That hasn’t been my intentions for building this truck, and it won’t be beat so long as the title is in
my name. Every upgrade done has been to ensure factory weak points were corrected, and to maximize towing
potential, longevity, and comfort for the long haul.
Deposit required within 48 hrs of winning bid. Full payment required within 7 days. If paying by check please be
aware it may be held for UP TO 7 days at my banks discretion to verify authenticity. If you bank with a larger
institution, it will go quickly, but I feel more comfortable with this disclaimer in case buyer is using a small,
non-affiliated local bank. Again, my apologies, but I’ve been burned by too many scammers on eBay. Vehicle is
located in Carlsbad NM. Buyer is responsible for shipping and pick-up, shipping not included in auction. May be
able to deliver depending on location and compensation, contact me before auction ends if you require this service.
Please ask any and all questions you may have before auction ends, thank you.

Ford trademarking 'Mach 1,' possibly for Mustang
Thu, 24 Oct 2013A legendary name might be accompanying the redesigned, 2015 Mustang when it finally makes its world debut - Mach 1. Stumbled upon by the team at Ford Authority, the Mach 1 title was found in a trademark filing with the US Patent and Trademark Office, and would revive a name last used on the fourth-generation, 2003 Mustang.
While the the 2003 vintage was well and good, the Mach 1 is really remembered for a three-year run from 1969 to 1971 - it's best to just forget the emissions-choked 1972 to 1978 Mach 1s - when power output ranged from a modest 250 horsepower with the two-barrel, 351-cubic-inch Windsor V8 to "375 hp" (actual output was rumored to be well north of 400 horsepower) with the righteous, 429-cubic-inch Super Cobra Jet V8.
What does the title hold for the sixth-generation Mustang? It's tough to say. The fanatics at Ford Authority seem to think Mach 1 could take the place of the Shelby GT500 at the top of the Mustang hierarchy, which sounds like a valid argument. At the same time, we could see the SVT Cobra moniker returning for the flagship model, and the Mach 1 doing battle with the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 (unless the Boss 302 were to return). Confounding things is the historical precedent - the Mach 1 was responsible for the death of the Mustang GT in 1969, so it might make sense as a volume performance model.
Ford posts decade-best $2.1B profit in Q1 2013
Wed, 24 Apr 2013As predicted, Ford has reported that its first quarter of 2013 was a resounding success overall, with a pretax profit of $2.1 billion ($0.41 per share), and a net income of $1.6 billion ($0.40 per share). In fact, Ford made a pretax profit of some $2.4 billion in its home North American market, with that total number being pulled down by losses in South America and Europe. That gaudy North American profit is the strongest result by the automaker since 2000.
Ford's companywide profit for Q1 was down $147 million from one year ago, while the net income number marked an increase of $215 million year over year. Overall, this is Ford's 15th-consecutive profitable quarter.
The bad news from the European market was even worst in Q1 2013 than it was last year. Pretax losses of $462 million - on revenue of $6.7 billion - represented a year-over-year change of -$313 million. In South American, the company reported a loss of $218 million, down from a slim profit of $54 million in Q1 2012. The news was better for Ford Asia Pacific Africa, where a $6 million pretax profit in 2013 showed a year-over-year gain of some $101 million when compared to losses in 2012. RWD Lincolns are coming, fate depends partly on MKZ success
Tue, 04 Dec 2012The product portfolio at Lincoln may seem a bit sparse at the moment, but if a report is to be believed, new products are on the way. TheDetroitBureau.com spoke with sources at Lincoln and Ford, who claimed the American premium brand is working on, perhaps more than one, rear-wheel-drive vehicle.
Lincoln would likely platform-share with the next-generation Ford Mustang to develop those RWD offerings in the early going. Moving forward, the report indicates that Lincoln could take the lead on other rear-drive projects in the future. As the RWD architecture continues to take shape, "most or all" of the front-wheel-drive portfolio will also be offered with all-wheel drive as an option, ala Audi.
But wait, there's more! The report also suggests that a replacement for the full-size MKS is on the way, as well as a new Navigator and a luxury crossover based on the current Ford Escape.
