This is a very clean low mileage truck.....

"Dads" truck to be used by me only!   Mainly used on hunting and fishing trips.  As you can see I kept it in the garage more than anything.

NON-SMOKER

The previous owner was from Austin Texas. I bought it at 25,000 miles 3 years ago.  I am the 2nd "owner/driver"

The front bumper and grille had many pits and scratches. I had a new bumper, grille, bug shield, touch-up buff and wax done professionally.($2,200)

Was fine, but I wanted it perfect!

I had a Lakeland custom cap installed recently (aerodynamic, wrap-over edges,tinted,screens,etc....) $1,600

IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE CAP, WE CAN WORK OUT A CREDIT FOR IT.  OR YOU SELL IT YOURSELF

Rear tinted slider (power)

Rear tinted side windows

Spray - in  Bed-liner

Multi-disc CD stereo

Back-up sensors

Heated leather seats. No cuts, tears anywhere.

All  pm ,service, oil changes, repairs were done at my local Ford Dealer. I have all reciepts and service records.

Work I have had done is as follows:

                                                         Added Block Heater  $340

Turbo charge air cooler tube, and cold side charge air cooler tube $400

Replaced  Right lower tie rod end (they said it was loose ?) alignment.  $336

Replaced  Left rear caliper and right front caliper (binding) $407

Replaced front and rear pads, rotors $719

The items listed above fell under belts, hoses, pads and were not replaced under warranty. The repairs were made 10-8-2012

(2009)Air conditioner system defective, replaced under warranty ($866)

I purchased a 100,000 mile, 84 month platinum extended warranty. ($2909)

As of now there is 76,799 miles, and 4yrs 3 months left on it.  I have all service records as required. This warranty will transfer to the new owner. All major and many minor things are covered.  I took pictures of the coverages.                                                    Way too much to list. They are the last ones shown in the vehicle pictures.

As you can see above, I took care of  many major maintenance repairs, replacements already 3 months ago.

The engine has not been tampered with (booster kits,chips,etc...)  All stock Ford

This is dads "baby" and the whole family knows it is off  limits!   Why would I sell it?

My wife is allowing me to buy a new one, and I am not going to pass on that opportunity!!!!!   If I can't get what I need for it, I will be keeping it then. Not going to give it away. Too much invested.

Any questions at all,  Please let me know

Ford 3D-printing Mustang out of chocolate and candy for Valentine's Day

Thu, 13 Feb 2014

Is your beloved in love with the new 2015 Ford Mustang? Do they like chocolate (that's a trick question - everyone likes chocolate)? Are they a bit of a futurist? Then this Hallmark holiday, you need to get them this Ford Mustang, 3D-printed in sweet, delicious chocolate.
Ford is teaming with 3D Systems' Sugar Lab in LA to produce the super-accurate pony car confections in both chocolate and sugar candy varieties. The process kicked off with a CAD rendering of the 2015 Mustang, which was then programmed into the 3D printer. After a bit of work from the machine, a four-inch long, two-inch tall Mustang was the result. Why the tieup with 3D Systems, though?
"We wanted to create something fun to show that while 3D printing made these edible Mustangs, manufacturing-level 3D printing was used in the development of Ford's all-new sports car," said Paul Susalla, Ford's supervisor of 3D printing.

Martin Smith retires, Joel Piaskowski in as Ford Europe design chief

Thu, 29 May 2014

The mind behind the look of much of the modern Ford global range is retiring. Martin Smith, Head of Ford Design in Europe, will give up his position on July 1 and will leave the company altogether at the end of the year. He will be replaced by current Strategic Concepts Group leader Joel Piaskowski (pictured above).
Smith has led Ford of Europe design for the past 10 years, and he was partially responsible for the brand's Kinetic Design language with a large grille and swept-back headlights found on the Focus, Fiesta and C-Max, as well as several other vehicles abroad. After stepping down on July 1 until his retirement at the end of 2014, Smith will work on a project to decide the future direction of the company's look with Moray Callum, its vice president of design.
Piaskowski already has some impressive credentials in terms of automotive design as well. He joined Ford in 2010 as director of exterior design and led the teams responsible for the 2015 Ford Mustang and next-generation F-150. He was also previously design director at Ford Asia Pacific. Before working at the Blue Oval, Piaskowski held positions at Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai and General Motors. Scroll down to read the complete announcement of this changing of the guard.
