This auction is for a 2005 Ford F-250 XLT Super Duty with 162518 miles. This truck has the 6.0 Powerstroke Diesel, automatic transmission, 4 Wheel Drive with floor shifter, white with gray cloth interior, it has a towing package with factory controls on the dash, air bags on the rear end (see pic) for assisting in towing. Here's the issues with the truck, first of all it is a 2005 model, so it has the normal dings and scratches, has two door dings on the drivers door, Ford emblem on the front grill is discolored, the passenger side mirror has a large piece of housing missing, does not affect its function, also the passenger side taillight has a chip out of out, and a scratch that runs toward the front of the truck (see pics), the factory CD player is not working, but the AM/FM radio works fine. The truck has been serviced regularly, and at the last service the mechanic noticed the coolant being low in the reservoir, we monitored it for a few days, it was determined that the truck is burning or leaking coolant somewhere, but he could not locate the problem, he checked compression which was 100% normal, and said he would drive it and continue monitoring levels, I had a second mechanic check it out, he advised the same, both mechanics state that it runs and sounds great, I know of the issue with this 6.0 Powerstroke, so that's why I'm being 100% honest about this. I'm goina let this truck go cheap due to this issue, it will make someone a great work or farm truck, and I'm sure someone that wants to take the time can fix it with no problem. Leno recalls '90s showdown with Tim Allen and his mullet

NHTSA closes investigations into Ford Taurus, Hyundai Santa Fe
Wed, 03 Jul 2013Ford and Hyundai are out from under the scrutinizing eyes of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration after the government agency said it was closing investigations against both automakers over vehicle safety concerns.
Ford was being investigated for reported damaged speed control cables on Ford Taurus (shown above) and Mercury Sable models, both built between 2000 and 2003. Vehicles with the company's Duratec engines allegedly failed to allow owners to brake as expected. Owners lodged 100 complaints and were involved in five accidents, according to NHTSA records. The American automaker responded to the reports, and on June 21 of this year, said that it would inspect and repair all affected vehicles, regardless of the mileage.
Hyundai was under investigation for a reported loose fastener on the steering shaft of its 2011 Santa Fe (shown in the gallery below). After NHTSA launched its inquiry, the Korean automaker responded with its own investigation that yielded four affected vehicles. Following the inspection of 680 vehicles at its assembly plant, Hyundai said the issue was due to employee error and that no further defects have been found.
