Up for sale is a 2004 Ford F250 Crew Cab 4wd FX4 Diesel Lariat Leather Seats. This is a great looking truck with a great 6.0 diesel power stroke that has a Remanufactured ford 6.0 motor that was put in around 70000 miles ago. The fuel injectors were rebuilt around 30000 miles ago and a 40hp remap done. This truck has lots of power and room. It has comes equipped with a hideaway gooseneck ball and fifth wheel rails. This truck gets 17-19 mpg which is fantastic for a 4wd truck. I just took a 900 mile trip through the mountains and all fluid levels were good, didn't use any fluid and got 17.4 mpg while driving in the mountains. Tires are between 75% and 80% thread. The a/c blows cold air and heater blows hot air. There are no service engine lights on. That's the good now to the bad (the truck was repainted before I bought it so I don't know if the previous owner had a wreck or just wanted to paint it, I don't know the keypad code, the interior console doesn't show the outside temp or direction, the shift lever is loose so it's off one position. The front end just had a grease job. I just want to be upfront with you about everything on the truck. Non refundable Deposit of $500 is due within 48 hours of close of auction. UK auto magazine says this is the best car commercial of all time [w/videos]

Well, Ad Week recently took a crack at it by rating the top commercials of the year by looking at their view counts on YouTube, but Auto Express took a more democratic approach by putting the decision to a vote. Just after Thanksgiving, Auto Express came up with a list of the 20 popular commercials, and it tasked its readers with choosing the winner for the best car ad of all time. The winner? Honda's 2003 commercial for its then-new European Accord titled "The Cog."
While the ad never aired in the US, most car people have surely seen the impressive Rube Goldberg-style spot. In fact, the only commercial on this list that we saw on US television was the Volkswagen ad "The Force," but many of the others have become viral videos, including transforming and dancing Citroën C4. Of the 19 other commercials that vied for the title of best ad of all time, only the Ford Puma "Steve McQueen" commercial gave Honda a run for its advertising money.

Ford of Europe celebrates Mondeo's 20th anniversary
Wed, 25 Sep 2013Ford's European operations are celebrating a milestone of sorts as the Mondeo, the Blue Oval's bread-and-butter D-segment sedan in the old country, celebrates its 20th anniversary. The mid-sizer, which was sold in the US for a short time as the Contour, has been a far more popular vehicle in Europe - even receiving regular praise from one Jeremy Clarkson.
Narrated by Cockney actor Ray Winstone, the video goes through the Mondeo's years and how it's evolved from 1993 to the as-yet-unreleased fifth-generation model, which is essentially the same as the Ford Fusion that's sold in America. Take a look below for the full video from Ford of Europe.
V6 engines will outpace V8s for the 2015 Ford F-150
Wed, 23 Jul 2014How times have changed. Even five years ago, who would have thought the mighty V8 would be just another engine choice for buyers of the 2015 Ford F-150?
Ford is projecting about 28 percent of the next-generation trucks will have the 5.0-liter V8. That's nothing to sneeze at, but consider this: Ford figures its two EcoBoost truck engines - the new 2.7-liter V6 and the existing 3.5-liter V6 - will also each account for about 28 percent of the F-150's sales (56 percent total). That leaves only 15 percent of the pie for the 3.5-liter (non-EcoBoost) V6. The new F-150 goes on sale late this year.
